I made an appointment about five days prior to the date that Kelly was available. As I came in, I overheard them mentioning that my name was not written down for the appointment time or date. (First red flag) Before Kelly did my hair, she asked me what color I wanted. I showed her the picture I really liked that she did before on Yelp. Which was icy blonde balayage. While she began, she had another hair stylist come and help on my hair while she went and helped another customer. (Second red flag) Throughout getting my hair foiled, the other artist wasn't doing it correctly and heard Kelly telling her that in Vietnamese. Which both of them did not know I can understand it. I asked for a balayage and literally my whole head is blonde. The gray she slapped on only lasted three washes which was ridiculous and she charged me $400 for my hair. Was recommended this place for a simple haircut. I called and made an appointment three days in advance. I showed up early to the appointment thinking I would be next. I wasn't even acknowledged until 45 minutes after my appointment was supposed to begin. I watched them take like three other people instead No acknowledgment even after I kindly said I had made an appointment. I've been to Kelly multiple times for the past few years now. I am updating my review to 5 stars as she never seems to disappoint. I colored my hair about a year and a half ago to an ash grey-blonde right before I gave birth and it lasted me awhile as it grew out nicely with my black roots. Just a few months ago I had a friend try to bring the blonde back up and although I love my friend, the work wasn't what I expected and my color was kind of everywhere. Of course I called Kelly ASAP to see if she could fix it and she was able to squeeze me in 2 days from when I called. Attached are the photos, she just salvaged my hair. It may not be the best way to do it (she can bring you black to blonde in like 1 session but really it's super damaging to your hair) but I don't mind as I'm lazy to go in for multiple sessions and I started an Olaplex regimen recently to help combat some of the damage. I first went to Kelly's as a teenager with all of my friends and it was worth it! She was cheap, didn't need an appointment and accommodated all four of us in one day. Fast forward several years after referring her massive amount of customers, she didn't recognize me. Which is ok, she sees multiple clients everyday. Kelly herself did my roots, my hair started falling off and my scalp was itchy for weeks. I assumed it was the shampoo that I was using. Her and another employee worked on my hair and charged me $550. This was after I told her to take it slow and she told me that she can just cut and do highlights on my dark natural hair. I also purchased a shampoo/conditioner and she told me the haircut is included but the duo shampoo conditioner would be $50. So all in all for a disgusting job my hair cost me $500. The highlights were blotchy, no definition and the best part is that my scalp was extremely irritated. I went back two times for a root touch up hoping she could clean this mess up. But instead Kelly was desperately trying to sell whatever she could to me and also asked me who did my hair and was touching it disgustingly. She didn't even remember me from one month ago, didn't recognize her work nor did not remember I paid $100 tip on a $550 charge. Both times I went in for a root touch up and pedicure she charged me different fees only a difference of $12 but $12 for the same pedicure? I witnessed a customer go off on her on my first visit regarding wrongful charging but I try giving everyone a benefit of the doubt. If you are looking for flea market service where walk ins and bargaining is your cup of tea-this is the place! My mom was going here for 15 years, however We decided to go to a new stylist where she and everyone else in the salon were shocked to see what Kelly had done to my mom's hair all these years.. as you can see in the pic this is called breakage and basically Kelly MELTED off my moms hair. Last September i went to Limon Salon to go from Dark Brown to blond balayage. They did a horrible job and i instantly regretted going elsewhere. I had two other hair coloring done by kelly (ombre and golden blonde balayage). My third time was desperately and last minute to fix the color of someone else's bad work. Kelly took me last minute the following days seeing that i had a family event and vegas night out to go to with pictures to take. I cant thank her enough for amazing work. My girlfriend has been going to Kelly for years to get her hair done. I know that she's also sent a lot of our friends who get their hair done by those instagram stylists and have their hair looking terrible just after 1 wash. We send them to Kelly to get their hair fixed as well. This past weekend Kelly did my girlfriend's hair and it turned out so well! According to my girlfriend, she got silver balayage done and it looks amazing! She was able to achieve the silver in 1 session when most of our friends have to come back for 2-3 sessions with other stylist and they pay almost twice as much. I was a loyal customer for at least six years. The owner, Kelly, is good at what she does. The problem is that not everyone there knows what they are doing. I know that running a business is no easy task...but there are several things wrong with this place. * It takes at least 4 hours to get color/ highlights/ hair cut!!! Every other salon takes half the time!!! why? Because at Kelly's the workers are forced to work on several people at the same time. My hair used to be over processed because the workers would forget about me (while I had chemicals soaking in my hair)...as they helped other customers. It's the owner's fault for being too greedy and trying to take on as many customers at the same time! As a result, they lost my $140 a month I used to give them. *Another issue is that they do NOT honor they appointments. I would always call and schedule appointments...show up on time....and end up waiting for at least 15 minutes! Bottom Line: This is not a horrible salon...believe me I have been to some awful places...but it is also not a high end salon. You get what you pay for (prices here are really cheap). If you are looking for a cheap place that won't ruin your hair...this is the place. But...if you are looking for a professional salon that will dedicated 100% of their time and effort on YOUR HAIR...go somewhere else! read more

Kelly is my go to stylist, & Kim is my all time FAV waxer ; p Kelly does an amazing job on my highlights! I get compliments everywhere I go! She's careful n takes her time to get ur area CLEANED! Kim is my all time favorite waxer!! Their only downfall is they tend to overlap on appt times. But at times they're on time waiting =] it's an azn place so there r goin to b a lot of walk ins but sometimes waiting 15 or so mins won't hurt.
