Well they need a after hours number to get ahold of our tank started leaking and we had to call fire department they confirmed the leak but for some reason they're closed at 1 pm on Friday so we're having faulty product and losing gas and no way to reach the company read more

We just switched to Wood Propane one month ago. We don't use the furnace in the house and usually have to buy propane three times a year. When the tank was delivered, it was filled to 100 gallons. In one month, we are down to 10% left in the tank. It turns out the connections (all of them) are leaking. They blamed in on the weather. Okay, maybe one or two connections but not all of them. To add insult to injury, they can't send someone to the house or make a delivery until next week. For all we know, the connections were leaking when the tank was hooked up. For only being with this company for one month, they are not off to a great start at all! Oh by the way, my husband tightened the connections to avoid being without propane, hot water - Well, you get the idea! He tightened the connections, and they are still leaking! I have had Wood Propane deliver to me for at least the last 10 years. Their prices have always been fair and competitive. They provide A+++ service and I highly recommend using them. The trucks and propane pumps are always so clean which I would think is hard to do with all the dirt roads. I was happy with Wood Propane until now. They will no longer deliver 50 gallons. They now have a 100g minimum. I do not have that much money. I asked them if they will let my wife and I freeze and she said " Our minimum is 100 gallons". On January 1,2019 I lost my part time job due to the new diesel truck emissions laws. So money is tight right now. I don't know what happened over at wood propane but their customer service has gone into the toilet. Right now woods price is $.75/gallon more than the competition. I can get another tank from another company dropped at my house with 100g in it for $260. Wood wants over $300 just to deliver 100g to me. read more

I switched from another propane company, whom I had numerous issues with. These people are great. Very polite on the phone, and in person. Also their rates are good. Try filling up in the summer, you will get a better deal. No "junk fees" with these people, they are honest and upfront. They can charge your credit card, which makes things easy...... I was recently a part of a group of neighbors that got together to make a large co-op purchase of gas for each of our houses. Our thinking was if each person on our block could buy gas at one time (15 people, each around 200 to 600 gallons per family), then we could get a bulk price from a propane company for around 5000 gallons instead of the regular price for 200 gallons. After searching for a decent price, we found Wood Propane to be the cheapest. After working with Wood Propane, I have found that I have nothing but good things to say! Their service was timely, the girls in the office are always there to help, and they were even willing to send multiple trucks out at one time to get everyone's tanks filled on the same day! We were quite happy and even plan on doing this again next year. I noticed Annette C.'s comment above and was quite surprised due to the fact that I know her and have recommended Wood Propane to her husband. He seemed like he really wanted to get in on our deal, so I can't imagine why his wife would have said such mean things. I contacted wood propane about this incident and they forwarded me a letter sent to Annette's husband about this matter. Dear Mr C****** I enjoyed the opportunity of speaking with you last week. I would like to apologize for not being able to deliver the propane because your wife has posted unkind and untrue comments about our family business. I just believe that her post is extremely mean and done with a great deal of anger. I personally do not know your wife nor have I ever dealt with her. This being the case, I would like to ask you to please have her remove the false accusations that are posted on the internet. They are hurtful and even though they are untrue, they have cast a poor light on our company with the people that have read them not realizing they are untrue and choose not to do business with because of the false allegations. If you can accomplish this, then perhaps next year if you and I communicate, we would include you in the summertime neighborhood discount rate of $1.99 a gall or lower. I thought I found my Propane co. Saw truck drive by, called and they returned and fueled my tank. $369.00 for 100 gallons 1st visit. I didn't care the cost because they were willing to take my CC and charge it 6 days later. 2 weeks later they show up again, (I still had the 100 gallons) but did not want to send them away because of the accommodation they made for me the first time, although it cost me an arm and leg. Arrangements were made for them to charge my CC again 15 days later. Well low and behold a few days later, direct quote from Karlie @ Wood Propane, " fuel cost are high and we have to pay bills", without my consent or knowledge they decided to charge my card on the 24th instead of waiting till the 1st as agreed. This is theft! My Calls went unanswered from the 24th and I finally get a return call on the 28th. Telling me they don't do payments. When I called right back thanking them for admitting to charging my CC w/o my permission, then I get an answer and all I got was a sorry fuel is high and they had to pay their bills. Even at almost 265.00 in overdrawn fees and returned check fee's this doesn't even include the charges the co's who check bounced are going to charge me. This is horrible business practice, I would not recommend them to anyone! STAT AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE VERY EXPENSIVE AND HAVE SHADY BUSINESS DEALINGS! THEY ALSO LOST THIS CLIENT & MY 287 GALLON TANK FOR GOOD! Not even an offer to make things right! They must have more business than they need. Not reputable IN MY EYES AND EXPERIENCE WITH THEM!
