The wings were way over battered and the pizza was initially Okay, a bit greasy, but later that night my stomach turned upside down and the rest of my night I'll leave off the review! After ten years in Dover we finally tried this joint. It was pleasant change from the screaming kids and rude soccer moms at LaFestas. We just grabbed a couple of slices and a beer. We've tried to love Kendall Pond for the two years we've lived in Dover but its just not happening. They are over priced for the quality of food. Delivery takes over an hour no matter what you order. Between the insane wait times, grumpy employees and getting overcharged (and having it be a HUGE issue when I called back and brought it up) have just decided to avoid this place all together. Having passed Kendall's Pizza many times my wife and I decided to give it a try and sure glad we did. We've lived in Dover for 5-years moving up here from Boston, where we lived in predominantly Italian sections of the city. We've had more than our share of pizza and sandwiches from Mom and Pop shops to national chains. I have to say I was quite surprised and impressed with the quality of the pizza I receive at Kendall's. The pizza was perfectly baked and the topping was just fine. We LOVE the pizza! The Hawaiian buffalo is amazing! The calzones are great, too, but sometimes they put ricotta cheese in them, and sometimes they don't. I enjoy the ricotta, so I wish they were more consistent. Not a fan of the hot wings, there is way too much breading (but we like it simple with just red hot). The subs are pretty terrible. The Steak and cheese was bland, and the chicken salad was dry and just mushy. We order quite often simply because the pizza is great, and you deliver :) read more

We go here one weekend a year during a hockey tournament. The pizza and onion rings are delicious! I had a gluten free tomato basil pizza that tasted amazing! Ordered a pizza, the chicken tenders and fries meal, and a cesar wrap. The pizza we got delivered was the wrong pizza (we were given a vegetarian when we ordered the buffalo Hawaiian), and it wasn't even cooked! The cheese hadn't fully melted and the vegetables were as crisp as if they had just come out of the fridge. We had to argue for more than five minutes to get our actual pizza sent, and when it finally arrived it was cooked even less than the first one we were sent. We had to cook it in the oven for another 10 minutes at least. Also the chicken tenders meal was the grossest I've ever had - You can find better in the grocery store's freezer aisle. I asked for more fries as the side, and I got less than expected for one serving. You get more in a fast food small container! There has got to be a better place in Dover for pizza, especially considering how way overpriced this place is. read more

A decent place to go. I haven't tried the pizza, but have tried a couple of the pasta dishes. The salad is just a basic side salad, nothing special. I did enjoy the pasta sauce a lot. The seating was plentiful with lots of room. I hate restaurants that squeeze everyone in like sardines. The service was very prompt and friendly. This pizza place is easily a 4 out of five stars however my most recent experience going there I had placed a rather large order and got told it would be a 15 minute wait. I didn't mind waiting because I was just going to play Pokémon go and walk around the block for 15 minutes. Except when I tried to walk out of the parking lot I heard someone yell from the other side of the lot "hey buddy" I turned and noticed a security office standing there looking in my general direction so I approached him and asked if it was me who he was yelling for. The security officer however didn't bother to reply to me but instead puffed his chest out and stared at me. I didn't really know what to do so I just stared back until the security guard mumbled out "Can I help you?" To which I replied "yes, were you yelling for me just a second ago?" The man then began to question if that was my car over there and he informed me it was private property for customers only and when I told him I already placed my order and I was just walking around until it was ready he proceeded to call me a liar and told me I had to leave or he was going to call the cops. So I was forced to leave and drive down the road and pay for parking in order to wait for my order to be finished. To summarize my experience the food is good however the security is ridiculous and I won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

Let me start by saying I rarely complain about food or service unless something outlandish occurs. I've been a manager of two different types of customer service based business and try not to be "that person" but feel the need to write this review based upon how rude the alleged general manager is. I work literally around the corner, legit walking distance from this place but was super busy one day last week at work so opted for delivery - I ordered a $7 sub and tipped the delivery driver $2 just to look at the receipt to see a $5 delivery charge...$5 to drive practically behind their shop. I very nicely called the store thinking it was a mistake only to have the manager act so rudely and as though he was someone who never dealt with customers a day in his natural born life. He told me that it was a standard and low delivery fee and that he has "just never had anyone call about something like this", he then proceeded to tell me that if since I say I understand business that I should "understand this". This went around in circles when all I was trying to say was that they should have told me it was a $5 fee for a $7 sub - a mediocre sub at best by the way. He ended up refunding me $2 with the biggest attitude...some of the worst service I have ever experienced in my almost 32 years of life. They could have gained my entire departments frequent lunch orders, but clearly this guy has no clue how to run a business - I feel bad for the owners as they are going to lose a lot of business because of this idiot. read more
