DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN WITH YOUR HAIR. First of all, he's very expensive and if anything goes wrong, he will blame it. Blame it on you. I did not need a color. Correction all I needed was highlights. I will enclose the picture of what I wanted it to look like also what it look like after inside the salon and also what it look like after the salon, but the main problem was after washing my hair a couple times it's continually gotten worse and worse. I will also enclose pictures of how uneven the color is. I don't trust him to do the correction which is why I let him know. I would have to pay somebody else to fix this. I wish I would've looked at the other reviews that are negative in here. Please believe me to trust them. they are actually true and he will not offer you any sort of help or Assistance. I came to ken 2 times first time I asked for balayage and I was charged $500 for a color more of an orange then it was blonde. I was ok with it considering it's a process. Second time I asked for a darker brown keeping my highlights and he turned my hair green silverish brown it wasn't even a color. I went to get my retouch with Ken and it looks nothing like the color I wanted. The first time I did my hair with this stylist, I did like my hair. It was Silver Ash Ombré-Balayage. A week ago I went for my retouch and I paid $420.00. My hair looks greenish/yellowish and my roots look horrible black/yellowish. The following day I did my hair, I texted him telling him the problem with my hair. He told me to wait and to give it a couple of weeks for the silver toner to go away. Well my hair looks absolutely horrible. I asked the stylist to fix my hair because my hair looks nothing like the color I had, which was Silver Ash. Ken truly does live up to his username KenMasterStylist. I was nervous going in at first because it would have been the first time in years that I've let anyone touch my hair. With the new year coming along, (or is it just my quarter life crisis?) I felt that it was time for change. I told him that I wanted to stay brown but to add balayage to it. As for my haircut, I wanted to go shorter so that my hair would look more lively and voluminous if I were to style it! He worked his magic and did it graciously. He was gentle with my hair and super precise during the bleaching phase. He even bleached the front portion of my bangs so that it'd pop whenever I'd do my makeup! He knows how to handle my hair with care, especially when bleaching my hair from my dark natural shade to a very light silver-blonde! I requested a quote from more than one salon and I'm sure Ken is great based on the 6 reviews from his 10 years experience; however, I found it in very bad taste that Ken text me after I told him that I was able to schedule with somebody else was very spiteful. He didn't know who I schedule with but yet he informed me that they were a bad stylist and bad production. When I inquired who he was referring to, his response was none of his business. When I laughed at his response, his response was "if you come to me one day to fix, it will be costly." Be that as it may, who verbally, knowingly and purposely sabotages their own colleagues?
