The salon itself is a bit dated but it reflects the price she's charging which I feel is very fair pricing. I'm a first time client and will be a regular. I noticed Lyly uses high quality products including olaplex in her services. She did gray blending on me which was ash highlights to help my gray hair grow out along with the process. She also gave a very good hair cut. If you have realistic hair goals, just ask her if she can do it. She's very responsive via text. I would suggest showing her photos beforehand. She's able to work on different types of hair, not just Asian hair.

I saw her page on instagram and by the looks of all her client's hair, I was in awe. I sent her a message and she replied instantly! Great communication with her. I made an appointment for a weekday morning and was in and out in 3 hours. Usually other salons takes 4.5-5 hoursssss that's way too long. She loves what she does and she's good at it! I haven't gotten my hair done in around 2 years since I had my kids, I finally got the time and chance to get a balayage just in time for spring/ summer. She really transformed my boring hair to something beautiful and I feel so much more confident. Thank you Lyly! Definitely stop by her salon if you want to get dolled up. Will definitely bring my sister and mom here.

Now I'm a male with a very low maintenance view on his hair, so I just lopped off my hair with the #2 shears. The salon was busy and livelyfor a Saturday afternoon, but there were a few staff still available for me to walk in. So the atmosphere was nice with music and conversation amongst patrons. I personally had a content time just peacefully enjoying my cut without any trouble. In the end, I managed to pay with Zelle. Understand they may not advertise it, they explain it was hacked before, but at least I got to leave with the cut I wanted without thinking too hard about what I owed, all in a good span of time.

Probably the worst haircut I've ever had. I've been tying my hair and clipping the bangs up until it grows.

I have nothing against her level of English however unfortunately it does get in the way. It's frustrating when someone puts words in your mouth and make you feel stupid. As a business owner doing services for people I believe it's a given to get feedbacks from clients. Never once have I complained nor told her things were her fault. Ever. I went there yesterday and showed her a picture of how I'd like my hair. She informs me that my hair can't achieve that color exactly and also adding that I complain. Please. Let's pull up our whole chat here if we need to. I understood that 1000% as she kept repeating herself speaking condescendingly as if I'm not understanding. The thing is she wasn't understanding me. I then asked her her opinion on what would be the best option to go with in order to get it as close ( not that I was going to follow what she says I just wanted to see what her opinions were from a professional stand point) she then turned me away and canceled on me. Alright, cool. I get it. I can respect a business owners decision as they have the right to turn down any services, I still tipped her 80$ for taking off my extensions for me not that I had a lot left on my hair. I'm not that kind of person. however again I really frkn wish she could've asked me these questions over the phone so I didn't have to waste my time driving back and forth. But thank you linn, because of your lack of skills and confidence, I'm now here at another place my gf introduced me to as we speak. Very happy this worked out this way. Girl bye.

Making appointments online and getting reminders is just so convenient. Kevin is a very friendly person and easy to get along with. He is very adamant on having a style in mind so that he can get an idea of the foundation for your hair. I myself wasn't exactly sure since I don't really style my hair and just let it do its thing but he showed me reference photos which was very helpful. He also walks you through your haircut and drops knowledge on why he's doing what he's doing. He's very quick with his work, honestly my drive there was longer than the haircut itself. I'm very happy with the end result, Kevin is going to be my go-to for the foreseeable future.

Previously, I've had a shag cut with curtain bangs and although there are similarities, there's a big difference. I didn't want to settle for a stylist to give me a cut "they thought would look best on me." Based on his calendar's availability, I booked him on a Monday at 1pm. So, I made the trip to OC and I have no regrets. The price point was great, we went with a dry cut no shampoo/conditioner/wash and I was totally fine with that. The whole session took about 30 minutes in total and he talked me through the whole process. I brought one friend along with me on the trip and he was able to sit in the styling room with us. Overall he was a precessional businessman, kept a beautiful salon/studio, and was very personable so there were no awkward moments. 1000x's yes I WILL recommend his services to my friends and family should they ask me of a hair stylist, when they're ready. Thank you K-- see you in a few months!!

Dear Salon Owner and Stylist Travis,…read more I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with the extremely unprofessional experience my daughter and I had at Yashi Beauty Salon (9733 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683), particularly with the stylist Travis. Before my daughter's appointment even began, I politely informed Travis that she has a dry scalp and a little dandruff because she is still young and sometimes does not wash her hair thoroughly. I shared this information simply so he would understand her condition and handle her hair gently and professionally. Unfortunately, what followed was the exact opposite. From the moment he started, Travis repeatedly yanked and pulled my daughter's hair very roughly. There was absolutely no care or patience shown toward a young child. Even after the appointment, my daughter told me her scalp hurt because he had pulled her hair so hard. What upset me even more was that instead of focusing on his work, Travis continuously talked to the other stylists about how "dirty" my daughter's hair was. He even walked over to speak with the manager about my daughter's scalp and hair condition. I was sitting in the waiting area and witnessed the entire situation. At one point, I noticed Travis glance toward me, realize that I was watching, and immediately look away while noticeably changing his attitude. That only reinforced my belief that he knew exactly what he was doing was inappropriate and unprofessional. What disappointed me the most, however, was the manager's response. Instead of reminding the staff to remain professional and ensuring that customers were treated with dignity and respect, the manager chose to participate in the gossip. They even crouched down together and whispered about my daughter's hair. Not once did I see anyone step in to stop the conversation or show any concern for how disrespectful their behavior was. As a manager, you should be setting the standard for professionalism and respectful customer service--not encouraging or participating in conversations that humiliate paying customers. Having dandruff or a dry scalp does not mean someone is "dirty." These are very common conditions that affect both children and adults. If my daughter's hair condition made it more difficult to perform the service, Travis could have spoken to me directly in a respectful and professional manner. Instead, he chose to gossip about my child with his coworkers and manager. If someone cannot treat customers with basic dignity and respect, then perhaps they should reconsider working in the beauty service industry altogether. What makes this even more upsetting is that the person who was hurt the most was my daughter. No child--or even an adult--should ever be made to feel embarrassed, judged, or disrespected while simply getting a haircut and hair color. When we got home, I also noticed that her haircut was uneven. While the hair color itself was acceptable, Travis's attitude and the overall customer service completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable experience for both my daughter and me. What I regret most is that despite everything we experienced, I still paid in full and even left a tip because I did not want to create a scene in front of my daughter. Looking back, I realize I should not have rewarded such poor service. I am speaking up now because I do not want another customer--especially another child--to experience the same disrespect that my daughter did. I sincerely hope the salon owner takes this matter seriously, speaks directly with Travis and the manager involved, and takes appropriate action to improve the professionalism and customer service within the salon. Hairdressing skills can always be improved, but respect, compassion, and professional ethics are what truly keep customers coming back and build a successful business. After this experience, I have completely lost confidence in this salon. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend it to anyone as long as customers continue to be treated this way.
