I've only ever had my hair dyed 3 times in my life (including this one). And I can't believe I didn't find Peter sooner!!! He's literally the God of Hair Coloring. I legit just had to show him a picture and it was EXACTLY what I wanted. I was so happy. My past two experiences with another salon gave me colors that I wasn't happy with. It was either too bright or there was a weird strand that was a completely different color. Not with Peter though! EVERYONE and I literally mean EVERYONE said my hair was so nice. I contacted peter a day after I went to QT Salon to get my hair done- and they completely butchered it. I needed an appointment ASAP before I left town, and he was able to squeeze me into his schedule the day after i texted him! I came in and showed him what I wanted and told him my hair was way too light and patchy for what I wanted, and he suggested that I get a more balayage look to blend it more. I trusted him and the next day, I went to his salon. He is super nice and friendly and makes you feel comfortable immediately! He worked on my hair for a few hours, and when he finished, was absolutely in LOVE with the results! He transformed my hair into exactly what I wanted and he did a really great job doing so. I've been looking for a salon to go to and I was very worried because my last experience at a different salon wasn't great, leaving my hair pretty damaged. But my whole experience here today has been beyond my expectations! Peter and Lilly were both very nice and welcoming, and they were careful and patient with working with my hair. I asked for an ash blonde balayage and I started off with dark hair. Although the process was long and it had gone past closing, they made sure to go through each step with care and didn't rush. They also provided water and snacks, making sure I was comfortable, and kept friendly conversation the whole time I was here. Went into my appointment with very high expectations and ended up incredibly disappointed. The dye completely damaged my hair and caused it to lose the texture that it had. Peter whom was supposed to dye and cut my hair only did half and left the rest to who I am assuming is his assistant, she ended up messing my hair up and didn't make the colors blend the way they should have. I highly recommend you find a different place or SPECIFICALLY ask Peter to do it all to completion. read more

I feel totally cheated after having paid $290 for blotched up and uneven hair color. I texted Peter a pic of my hair and what I wanted to achieve and he said it'll start at $180 depending on length. At my appointment, he said it'll be $290 since I have thick hair. So fine, I agreed, feeling uneasy. I wouldn't mind paying $290 if I was satisfied with the result, but no, I am not! It's been two weeks and my hair color has faded dramatically and it wasn't even ashy to begin with because it was like brown all over when I wanted dark base with ashy highlights. He said dark colors won't fade as quickly but now the areas (big chunks of highlights) that he & his assistant bleached have become brassy! I wasted my entire day at the salon since he was busy working on another client. He had help and she did most of the work on my hair but then left midday. The $290 was paid for his work, not his assistant's. He's friendly but it's NOT worth $290 for great service when you end up with bad and damaged hair. read more
