At least do as well as Starbucks does - and that's not saying much. However, yesterday on 6/28 when the wait was too long so I decided to choose takeout, it was the worst service I've ever experienced. I walked inside, placed the takeout order, and was told it would be ready in about 15 minutes. I went outside to the bench to wait to realize the server didn't take my name for the order. After about 20 minutes had passed, I walked back inside to look for someone. I saw another server walk over when I was lost and waiting and she ended up helping another group who walked in after me, so I was ignored. Then I initiated the conversation and asked about my order and she said "Oh please wait outside and we will come out to give you your order when it's ready." I glanced over and noticed someone bagging takeout orders, so I walked back outside. Another 25 minutes passed and no one has come out to deliver my takeout order. It was about 45 minutes since I placed the order and I was not happy. I walked back inside and asked the server behind the counter. Mind you this is the 3rd server. They asked what I ordered (since my name was not taken down when the order was placed, it made it unorganized) and one of the two takeout bags that was sitting on the counter for a good 20 minutes I noticed it was my order. When I got home, the burger buns were all soggy and the fries were soft and not crispy anymore. This is such an unfortunate situation because I've always shared positive comments about The Cottage, but with the experience I had yesterday, I will be rethinking to come back.
