Biscuit & Gravy with Sausage Gravy
    Aimee G.

Very cute cafe in Lake Forest Park. Friendly staff and clean inside. There are a lot of seating indoors and some outside as well. There's plenty of free parking too in the shopping center. Ordered the biscuit with sausage gravy. The biscuit is from Biscuit and Bean. It was perfectly toasted, and the sausage gravy was very flavorful. Would totally come back.

Every sandwich came out on a buttermilk biscuit!!! I had the Katy Purrrryyyyyy. Soooo good! I had a good cappucino. We missed the Shakshuka, but will try again next time!!

I wanted to love this place since it's near my hood and got such great reviews. The food looks pretty but taste of things are off. The quality of the pastry and the Bostock was meh. Not much flavor or not great texture. As the service was forgettable. It's order at the counter like a coffee place. My friend ordered after me but got his drink first so I asked about mine. They forgot my order. We got our food and I realized they forgot the Bostock. Got the cold brew and it was not good. Weird sour, acidic, fizzy taste. I took it back and they said it was nitro is why. I've had nitro cold brew before and it's usually smooth, deep and good. I got a cortada instead and again their coffee has weird sour, bad undertones. I didn't drink it after few sips. Mushroom biscuits and gravy flavor was good. My friend shasuka was not great because they don't have a kitchen but works heats and cooks things in piece meal equipment, he said the eggs was strange. Not fully baked and integrated into the tomatoey sauce. Sorry won't be back.

    16oz mocha (1/30/25)

Thank you fellow Yelpers for putting The Burrow on my radar screen! After a car appointment this morning, I decided to check it out (1/30/25). The Burrow is located at The Town Center at Lake Forest Park, adjacent to Vulpine Taproom (21+), and proximate to Lake Forest Bar & Grill. I add this because my gps had me on a crazy route. Duh, I'm here often enough due to Third Place Books! Anyways, this is a definite find. Pleasant overhead music, eye catching mural and art work throughout, and handcrafted tables and chairs. There are various comfy seating areas. Transforming this spot after the previous business left definitely created an inviting, welcoming destination. Clearly a neighborhood spot for meetups with lively convos, plus room for the laptop crowd, a place to read/write, and folks like me who just spontaneously drop by. Tasty 16oz mocha and orange cardamon slice from The Cottage, Community Bakery! Note: *Business hours Thurs/Fri 8am-3pm, Sat/Sun 9am-3pm. *Cafe food items served until 2pm. *The adjacent Vulpine Taproom (21+) opens at 3pm. Great local indie, but without the long line at nearby Honey Bear Bakery & Cafe.

"The Classic" egg sandwich with bacon. Iced mocha.

I ordered "The Classic" egg sandwich (with bacon) and iced mocha. It was absolutely fantastic! The ingredients taste fresh and well curated--I could tell somebody(s) cared enough to sit down to taste everything. The mocha was delicious. To be honest, I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but the coffee flavor is unique and apparent, without being bitter. It's lightly on the sweeter side compared to other mochas I've had, it's how I personally like it. Not a ton of food options, but I'll take quality over quantity. Indoor was clean and nice.

I ordered the Bearly Awake and my daughter got a blueberry Italian soda. They make the blueberry syrup in house!

Love the ambiance. Has a chill welcoming feel. Service is great. I appreciate staff that is willing to help me figure out what to get and introduce me to something new and delicious.

Fantastic service and an excellent feel to the interior. Lovely place to sit and visit with my son and enjoy some food and a wonderful beverage.

Have been the biggest fans of Vulpine Taproom in Lake Forest Park. To us, Vulpine is a hybrid of the cafe in Friends and a modern take on Cheers where everyone knows your name. The same owners (a very creative and fun team) are adding a sister cafe next door called "The BURROW" serving coffees and breakfast/brunch. We visited on one of their soft opening days on Dec 28th. This is an absolutely gorgeous space full of arts from local artists and hand-crafted furnitures. It feels as though walking into a gallery where one could relax with a drink (or more) and chit chat with the really cool friendly and knowledgeable staff. While we were there, several families were enjoying afternoon coffees/hot chocolates as well as snacks/beers from Vulpine next door. What an amazing vibe! Very much looking forward to visiting again on their Grand Opening day (Jan 3). They are still finishing the space and we can't wait to gather here with our friends!

Bran new in Lake Forest Park. seating is abundant and comfortable. they have a big table for large parties, a set of comfy seats for the readers/laptop workers, and really cute decor including a big tree and a mural of a fox, and some wall art. Their pour-over coffee and cold brew is made with a very good quality roast and they have a variety of flavor profiles for coffee connosuers. One of their custom drinks is the fennec sunrise, which is a latte with lemon, tumeric, and cayanne, which very much compliments the espresso without being oppressively sweet- this one's amazing and i haven't found anything similar around here. a cute little robot makes the pourover helping wait times. The service is quick and polite and they've created an environment that's safe for families, all people, LGTBQ, and game-players. A good place to hang out and stay a while!

Pretty cool find if you are ever in the neighborhood!…read more Mountlake Terrace is not a place I frequently visit, but I did because of the convenience with the light rail - it's about a 9-minute walk from the light rail station. The interior has a warm and cozy vibe; I also dig the lighting. There's a good amount and variety of seating. They don't have outlets on the floor at the benches in the center, but there are a few outlets on the walls, so if you need to charge your devices I recommend sitting at the chairs next to the treasure chest (where I'm writing this review lol). Space seems very dog friendly, and there are 2 tables outside where the fur baby pawrents would typically sit with their fur babies. I also saw dog treats at the cashier that dog owners are free to take. I guess if you wanted to eat them you could, but I would judge you. For my drink, I got the Woodsman - opted for iced, large size, and whole milk. The drink was very chai spice-forward, which I loved. The staff member who took my order asked for my name, and later on when I went up to inquire the WiFi password, he addressed me by name - impressive. The owner (?), Heather, also thanked me for coming here after I picked up my drink. Needless to say, super friendly people. I didn't get a pastry or sandwich, but that's the goal for my next visit!

Given this I cannot accurately rate the Woodsman as I got it with almond milk and wasn't a fan. My husband is also in the same boat as me with regards to milk. Please consider adding at least a 2% although skim would be amazing. If you like whole milk/alternatives please give this place a shot!

They even had a gulab jamun inspired ice cream, which really caught my attention. It was my first time having a brownie served warm with ice cream, and I absolutely loved that touch. The fruit flavors were especially enjoyable, particularly the mango and banana chocolate chip. The cardamom flavor was a bit overpowering for my taste, but the mango was definitely a standout. The staff were incredibly patient and let us sample as many flavors as we wanted, all with a smile. I'm a creature of habit and often stuck to the other side of the complex. I did not realize that One Bite Cafe took over the former Great Harvest Bread. I had checked out One Bite Cafe before in Seattle's Roosevelt neighborhood out of curiosity regarding croffles, but it didn't not leave a lasting impression at the time (open since 2019, with that visit in July 2022). However, when The College Friend set up a meet up at the Lake Forest Park site yesterday (open since May 2022, this visit on 4/9/26). There is an interior entry from the two level retail area and an exterior entry adjacent to the big shared parking lot. It took me a few tries until I found a spot. I was kindly greeted upon entry while the counter person was assisting the customer ahead of me. I ordered and paid directly on the convenient touch screen kiosk located to the left of the main register. I liked the interior transformation. Lots of onsite seating configurations and pleasant decor. Overhead music played the Beatles, which was a pleasant surprise. The wrap around pastry cases with well placed menu placards showed the variety of menu offerings. There's a wide variety of bevs, sweet and savory pastries, desserts, sandwiches, and even gluten free items from NuFlours. I ordered a 22oz iced classic milk tea with 75% sweetness and no toppings, plus some Korean sausage bread. The College Friend decided on a toasted Reuben with chips. We also shared a Portuguese egg tart. We were onsite for three hours. I noticed a constant stream of customers who also dined onsite, as well as, folks getting items to go. I appreciated observing the consistent pleasant and helpful counter staff, all with welcoming smiles! I learned that One Bite Cafe has grown to four sites: Seattle/Roosevelt, Lake Forest Park, Woodinville, and Federal Way. That's great to see ongoing success for this local, indie cafe chain. Lake Forest Park Town Center is lucky to have a variety of cafe, bar, and restaurant destinations. One Bite Cafe gets a collective 5 star for this first time visit.
