I had a fantastic experience with Carlos and can't recommend him highly enough. I called him on a…read moreSaturday afternoon in a bit of a panic--Valvoline had overfilled my oil, and I had accidentally made things worse trying to fix it myself. Even though it was after hours, Carlos was incredibly kind and told me to bring the car in right away. He welcomed me with a water bottle, reassured me that everything would be okay, and immediately helped me feel like I was in good hands. While I was there, I noticed he was also working on an Audi R8, which gave me even more confidence--clearly he knows his way around Audis. On Monday, he gave me a call to go over the repair estimate and mentioned another issue he noticed. He clearly explained everything and asked if I wanted to move forward. When the car was ready a few days later, he emailed me ahead of time with photos of the work and a detailed, itemized invoice. When I picked up the car, he walked me through exactly what he'd done and answered all my questions with patience and professionalism. Carlos went above and beyond to make a stressful situation feel easy and manageable. I truly felt taken care of.

Tiny shop with a big heart. Family run engine and general…read morecar repairs, located down from the Stockton Swap meet on N Wilson. This was one of the few times that I had used Yelp's project feature to find a mechanic. Robles's auto repair was the quickest to reply and also ended up having one of the most competitive prices. Using the project feature of Yelp allowed me to stay in constant communication with Gabriel. I was kept abreast of the repairs on my vehicle and they even stuck around a little after hours to make sure I could get my car after the repairs were done. That Stockton traffic can be a doozy. The issue with my vehicle was a leak in the radiator that Mercedes said would cost $2400 to repair at the dealership, but with Robles's auto repair, I was able to do it for under $800. The parts in general are not what's expensive just my model and Mercedes has a lot of pieces that have to be removed to get access to the radiator. Now my car is running great and I should be good for a long time. If you're looking for a family run business, this is your next stop for your engine, rebuild transmission, rebuild, and general automotive repairs

Robles Auto Repair delivers exactly what most shops promise and few actually provide: reliability,…read moreprofessionalism, and fair pricing. From the very first message, their responsiveness stood out. Communication was prompt, clear, and respectful, which immediately set the tone for the experience. That professionalism carried through every step, from the initial contact to dropping off our Escalade for new brakes and rotors. The shop itself isn't flashy, and that turns out to be part of its charm. What it lacks in frills, it more than makes up for in competence and integrity. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and straightforward, with no upselling or pressure. Most importantly, the work was completed exactly when they said it would be, something that feels increasingly rare in auto repair. The quality of service paired with the best price we found made this an easy win. Robles Auto Repair proves that excellent service doesn't need a fancy showroom, just honesty, skill, and respect for the customer's time. Highly recommended.

A joke. Waste of time and money. Brought my truck in because I had two engine codes and need a…read moresmog. Soon as I dropped it off I told my wife these guys aren't going to fix my truck. Guy that took my info seemed disinterested. When I called later they recommended that I replace the idle air control valve and see if that works. I brought it to them to fix, not tell me what to fix. I asked them to replace it so they can verify afterwards, besides, I need it smoged which I was hoping they could do once fixed. Next day I call later in the day and they had just finished replacing the part and supposedly drove it around. I could tell by his language it seemed they knew it wasn't the issue. I asked if the monitors set so they can smog it. He said they drove it 10 miles and everything was fine. And I should come get it and drive to to make sure it's fixed. Why are they wanting a customer to make sure it's fixed? Thats their job. Not give the car back and say 'let us know if that worked'. Soon as I started the truck and plugged in my scan tool to read live data I could immediately tell it wasn't fixed! Immediately. So I went to pull the truck back around to the shop in the back where these so called mechanics are and my check engine light came on. Haha. When I explained to them they act shocked. Im directed to speak to this old guy in the back that looks like he can't get out of a chair. That guy doesnt talk to you directly, he talks to another mechanic who then talks to you. Even though your right there in front of him. We're all speaking clear English. He claims to be hearing impaired but the middle man guy is talking the same volume as I was. Waste of $240 bucks plus time off work to drop off and pick up. They offer to look at it in a couple days but this place is an absolute circus. I'd say theyre basically a lube and smog shop. Not real troubleshooting and repair. Even their smog guy literally said "I don't know I'm just the smog guy" good luck to you if you come here. I won't be back. Im sure they'll defend themselves. I read past poor reviews. I should've listened.
