Be very aware of what you are signing and check with your insurance BEFORE signing anything. They very unethically slip in charges under the 'treatment fee' that they don't disclose and that are not covered by insurance. Even though the contract you sign may say it's an "estimate" you are still on the hook for paying those charges they've cleverly disguised. This applies to patients like me who have insurance that guarantees set rates and may feel confident in the paperwork they sign. Those hidden charges are in essence negating most of the discount your insurance provides. PLEASE get a predetermination from your insurance provider before agreeing to any procedure or signing anything!

But now they have new dentists, specifically. Dr Endaya, who is a shark. She told me I needed two crowns, and she pushed me to do it the same day... I was simply in for a routine cleaning and had no symptoms, problems, or pain. She also insisted that I could not just do one crown because it would be easier for her and for me to do both of them at the same time. When I said I needed to think about it, she left and sent in another woman who tried to close the deal. Honestly, I've had better treatment at a used car lot. And again this is upsetting because I really like the hygienist, and appreciate his quality work. It is my understanding that this office is now affiliated with pacific dental services network, and that this high-pressure tactic is common in their affiliated offices. Really disappointed in what once was a nice neighborhood dental office.
