Excellent service and the workmanship was fantastic. First off, we had a wonderful and most pleasant Salesman named, Bruce. He was very knowledgeable and he wasn't trying to sell us the most expensive carpet, instead he sold us exactly what we asked for based on our requirements. Secondly, the carpet installers were very professional and on time. They did an amazing job installing our carpet on a complicated spiral staircase. The quality and workmanship by Kenny Carpets far exceeds Empire Carpets. Do NOT call Empire Carpets, they overcharge and the quality is horrible. Communication sucks. Eric the manager is impossible to reach and doesn't communicate to the installers. We were told they could fix subfloor easily if needed and we ended up needing a contractor to replace it. Our house has been a disaster for 3 weeks and we have kids and a dog. Also didn't order enough carpet to finish a room. HOW? Few years back we used them and they did carpets but didn't tell us the subfloor was also soft and probably should've been addressed then. We have had an AWFUL experience with this company. Managers are awful. Installers are fine. read more

Sadly, I tried a few times to give the benefit of the doubt. My daughter was treated horribly from the estimate she had at her house. Talked down to, etc. She is a young woman, and Scott seemed to think she was an idiot. We opted to go elsewhere, because of this. I insisted on not having him at my estimate recently, but that didn't matter any. I ordered my carpet, was told they would have a runner made for me (didn't say it was going to be additional, and that I would have to go take it to be done), and was sent a straight up crack head to do the installation. This installer flipped out on me when I asked if they could glue the carpet tacks down, instead of nailing into asbestos flooring, disturbing the cracked tiles. I was completely calm when asking, but this guy flew off the handle, cursing, leaving my floors exposed with carpet tacks for another day, as I had to wait for another installer. There will be no more Kenny for me or my family, nor the numerous clients I sell homes to. read more

Wow - this how carpet shopping should be. From the beginning of the process Nicholas was nothing but helpful and communicative. He made this process stress free and walked us through everything. He kept in contact with me at all steps of the process. We had a date that the carpet needed to be installed by and we are two weeks before that date. With the carpet arriving even a couple weeks ago. Don't waste your time going any other carpet stores like I did and having them change the price numerous times and mismeasure to add cost to you (CCC). Give Nicholas a call and he will take care of you from start to finish. Truly an honest and caring individual. We also had a great experience with our installer Steve who did an amazing job installing the carpet. i would give more than 5 Stars if I could. 1. Carpet install disaster took a column almost out of ceiling ( still no repair) left shreds of new carpet everywhere a mess- when asked said no they don't vacuum- sent back another day to do it. Nails, staples all over room. Told deal included tile... 2. Tile install disaster, a month ago cut wrong, chipped ( over 6) and damaged all lower cabinets, split molding to doorways, dented walls & missing tile! Left nail holes in molding ( wrong color) extremely dirty- all over house and left sanded grout all over cabinetry, floor and every single thing in kitchen. Finally, Save the money - we have broken tile , poor service & install. Problem from carpet install with column & still waiting for receipt / warranty for broken incomplete job, missing molding and tile, and transition sill into other rooms they offered to fix a month ago they have nobody to do the job! read more

We worked with the Williamsville location to have new carpets installed throughout our house in August 2016. The salesperson sold us on a "stain proof" carpet and the "top of the line pad." He assured us the pad would last longer than the carpet itself, so we justified the extra cost. The installation was okay - no scheduling issues and the crew was friendly. They left quite the mess when they left our house.. plastic strings and carpet fibers everywhere. Do they seriously not have a Shop Vac? Anyways.. we've been fine with the carpet except for two things: 1) IT STAINS! 2) the carpet and/or pad have ALREADY worn out in our living room. We aren't able to pull the carpets up, but it is evident that the installers stapled a pad seam in the middle of our living room in the highest traffic area. We now have to avoid walking through the living room because there are small, round bumps that poke our feet when we walk on it! I'm at a loss right now. This carpet was supposed to last us at LEAST several years. With the huge pad seam in the middle of our living room we know the only option is to rip out the entire carpet and start over. This means moving very heavy furniture into a storage area we don't have! Shame on you, Kenny Carpets. Your products are NOT as advertised and do not last. I've seen cheapo apartment carpet hold up better than this. read more

So, if the linoleum flooring in my bathroom was installed incorrectly, not properly glued and sealed utilizing improper caulk, what should I do? Normally, you would contact the store at which you purchased the product from (Kenny Carpets & Floors). I did that, at least six times. I talked to the salesman a couple of those times, and a couple times he called me back. Every time, I was promised that it would be fixed or that I would get a phone call back from the person in charge of installation. I have never heard from that person in charge of installation and my flooring still needs to be fixed. Where to go from here? The flooring was installed in early September... That being said, the carpet they installed in my daughter's room is fine. That's the reason for two stars and not one. If they would have handled the issue already, they probably would have gotten four or five stars. read more

I haven't received better service anywhere else. Not only was I assisted from the moment I entered with care and courtesy, but all of my requests were fulfilled from start to finish. I received beautiful hardwood flooring throughout my kitchen and I can't be happier. Installation was quick and the guys did a good job. My experience with Kenny Carpet started in October. it is now almost February and my floors are still not finished. Started by an employee not ordering enough to complete the job, this person was fired because apparently this had happened to several other people. (I'm not sure he was the problem anymore). We had 75% of the floor done and that tile was now on backorder, so I had to choose another if I wanted my floor finished sometime this century. This time, they had enough product, but it was not properly installed. Tiles that were click-together started to separate. Kenny sends the 3rd or 4th contractor out and his solution was to silicone the spaces between the tiles, which he also smeared across every tile he used this on. Now we have shiny spots all over, which I am told the next person that comes out will be able to wipe off. It's been weeks since this happened and I keep calling and messaging my contact, but NOTHING! Then, one day, I have a van pull in my driveway as I am leaving for work!! No one called me to tell me this was happening and I had to turn him away! This has been the worst Customer Service experience I have ever encountered. How many contractors does it take to finish a floor properly???? How many more months do I have to wait until I can end my relationship with this awful company???? Please do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere!!!!! P.S. there was much more to this story, but I only pointed out what I thought was most helpful. read more
