I was excited to find an online store where I could browse various options and make a decision without the pressure of being in-person or over the phone. I placed my order for Valentine's day, with only one minor confusion. I had to enter a shipping address, even though I was doing local pickup. Not a big deal, just took me a second to figure out. The next day I got a phone call to confirm the pickup date, and select a pickup time. They told me that due to the holiday, they'd have a tent out back for pickups. Easy enough. On the day of, I swung over and had my arrangement in hand in about five minutes. And I thought it came out great! My husband is romantic and he loves to buy me flowers just as much as I love receiving them! He randomly checked out Kenny's Flower Shoppe after doing a quick Google search in the car one day. He stopped by and was blown away by the bouquet they put together for him! He told the woman what he was looking for and she custom-made two bouquets; one for me and one for my Mom. Both were vibrant, healthy, colorful and beautiful! He said he won't ever go anywhere else for flowers again! Since then, he returned for another bouquet for my birthday! It was a beautiful fall arrangement! The flowers are fresh and last so long! The customer service is excellent and the prices are great considering how beautiful the flowers are! They even had an array of cards to choose from and did some beautiful hand lettering on the envelope for my birthday flowers! We both highly recommend Kenny's flowers! They are the real deal! The staff was friendly enough but the flowers for my dads funeral were disappointing for the cost. The coffin spray cost $75.00 for mostly carnations. The flowers in the baskets which were $150.00 each were wilting and small looking, only a few roses, colorful enough but up close sad. The white roses on the bleeding heart which cost 300.00 were all at full bloom, again old looking. And the hand painted ribbons? I'm sorry I did not like them. We did get a 10 percent discount for veterans but was not aware of the charge for using a credit card. 3.5 percent. The discount covered taxes , credit card fee and delivery fee. My husband and I got married in September 2022 at Tyler Arboretum last Saturday in Media. By May of that year we had all the big wedding decisions and vendors settled except for flowers. Joyce at Kenny's Flower Shoppe came highly recommended, and she had already done so many weddings at our venue that we thought Kenny's was a safe bet. We met with Joyce and she was warm, genuine, and so easy to talk with. She's not just a flower person, she's a people person. We know nothing about flowers but we had a very general overall aesthetic we were going for - understated with a few pops of color. Joyce listened to us and filled in the gaps during our very first conversation, pulling ideas out of thin air and guiding us through what she thought would fit what we were going for, whipping out samples of flowers as she went. We walked out feeling very upbeat and relieved that we found what we thought was the right person. She put together an overview and emailed it to us shortly after. Over the next few months, we emailed Joyce with updates and changes (all based on our own changes of what we had told Joyce, nothing to do with her). Joyce accommodated all of it with no issues. We got ready together (two grooms after all) and when we saw our boutonnières we were so happy- exactly what we wanted. We had mixed-gender wedding parties and she had perfectly designed everyone else's boutonnières and bouquets too. The absolute highlight for us was the floral arch. Our ceremony was in the magnolia garden of Tyler, and we decided to use Joyce's circular copper arch as the backdrop. It turned out to be absolutely stunning when we walked down the aisle and saw it for the first time -- several guests kept telling us about how much they loved it during the reception. During cocktail hour, Joyce's excellent staff moved the arch to behind our head table for the reception. The table settings were also exactly the look we wanted. Everything was just perfect. We cannot recommend Kenny's and Joyce in particular (she owns and runs the shop) enough. Had somewhat of a love emergency on my hands and the crew at Kenny's came through. We live in Napa California and my wife Beverly traveled back east to take care of her cousin who had a brain tumor removed. She was supposed to come back Friday but since her cousin still wasn't cleared to drive, we decided it was best if she stayed a bit longer. This Valentines was somewhat special since it was also our 20th anniversary. I made plans for a nice dinner in San Francisco and, of course, flowers. Well, plan A obviously did not work out so I went on the Interweb to see what I could find. Quite frankly, I'm a shop local whenever possible kind of a guy. That and the positive reviews leaned me towards Kenny's. I called a bunch of times trying to figure out how and when to get the arrangement delivered. Everyone I talked to were pleasant and patient on what had to be one of their busiest days. The arrangement floored my wife. Her exact quote when she called after getting them was "what, did you spend like $500 on that?" (I didn't, their prices are reasonable) Bottom line: They saved the day. We will still have our celebration here in California when she returns, but they made the day memorable and special. read more

Menawhile, now I am all embarrassed, because a friend of mine is super-close friends with the husband & wife team who own the place. She swears that they "Rock". That may be so - but why would they leave the doors to their shop wide open and nobody was there? We even called out for them a bunch of times. Possibly the worst customer service ever. The women on the phone is extremely condescending and rude. From the moment I said 'hello', she acted like I was the nuisance for calling her business. She's unhelpful and don't bother with questions because she has no idea. The site is extremely unhelpful since there's no prices or pictures. Clearly you go inside and it's empty as well. Avoid. I wanted to send a bouquet to my parents for their 60th wedding anniversary. I live in the Pacific Northwest. Instead of patronizing one of the national delivery services, I thought I'd use this as an opportunity to support an independent business in my hometown Media. The product and service could not have been more superb! I spoke by phone with a very friendly, patient, skilled florist. I gave her my budget number and suggested she use her expertise to choose blooms that are most fresh and beautiful in February. My mother reported it was the most spectacular bouquet she's seen in her 83 years! Here's the icing on the cake -- the kind of service you get from an independent business that you won't get from a corporate behemoth. I agreed with Kenny's the date and time window to deliver the flowers. When the time came, the shoppe called my parents' home phone to check they were available to take delivery. Getting no answer, Kenny's called me across the country to ask for guidance. Turns out my parents had gone out unexpectedly. Kenny's happily inconvenienced themselves to make the delivery a few hours later. I expect a corporate chain would have just dropped the flowers on the front step at the agreed time, with the attitude, "I'm just following orders. Your tough luck that your flowers froze." Kenny's didn't take that attitude. They were flexible and entirely focused on making sure that on that special anniversary day my parents got the beautiful flowers they deserve, and that I'm an ecstatic customer who couldn't recommend Kenny's more highly! read more

Upon calling with questions and trying to make arrangements for funeral flowers, I was essentially dissed and told to pop in "anytime" and speak to "anyone who could take the order." I was planning on doing my own flowers for my wedding to save money. My attitude about the whole thing was "eh, nobody ever remembers the flowers from weddings anyway, so what's the point?" Five weeks before my wedding, I realized that I was not up to taking on this challenge, even in the haphazard and minimalist way that I planned to attempt it. I desperately hoped to find a florist able to work within a relatively limited budget on short notice. Luckily, Monika was able to help. I sent her a couple pictures from Pinterest and said, "Something kind of like this?" and then I got SUPER INTO the flower thing and kept emailing her up until a few days for the wedding asking for more and more flowers and bigger and bigger arrangements. She repeatedly said "sure, no problem!" and just went right along with all my requests. Then, when my wedding day arrived, the flowers were the BEST FLOWERS EVER. They exceeded my wildest expectations. Monika had clearly put an incredibly amount of thought into every last detail. Now, my wedding is next year but I have been on the search for a florist for about 2 months (about 10 consultations) and I am so excited to have found Kenny's - a family owned business. Monika was so friendly and helpful on the phone when I booked my consultation. I arrived at the appointment 45 minutes early because a previous appointment was shorter than expected and she was happy to sit down with me right away. I showed her pictures and also wanted her to use her expertise. She listened to everything I wanted and really gave me a lot of time. As we all know, it is hard to stay within your budget when planning a wedding and that is why it took me so long to find a florist. I told Monika my budget and she was able to give me a proposal that was exactly within budget... including delivery/set up! Other florists estimated more than double!! Even better... when she sent me the proposal, she also sent me two pictures of a mock-up centerpiece to see if I liked it. I did not ask her to do this... how thoughtful! That is why I wanted to go out of my way to write this review. I absolutely LOVED the photo and knew that Monika was going to be great to work with. She reminded me that since we have quite a bit of time before the wedding we can still tweak things if I want. Also, she mentioned she did not have a lot of gold hardware/holders (surprisingly a lot of florists stick with silver) but she is shopping around to get exactly what I want for the big day. read more
