Went here for dinner last week and was very impressed. The house bbq sauce on the wings was delicious, and the tater tot poutine was flavorful with a great balance among tots curds & gravy. My brother ordered the BLT which looked amazing - the bacon was crisp and thick and the bread looked like it was hand sliced and perfect. My gf ordered the pork chop which was tender juicy and delicious. I ordered the Rueben which was delicious and filling. We also all enjoyed their selection of beers! Stopped here after a baseball tournament. They accommodated are large party, but when we asked the server if we could order by jersey number she rudely refused. Would have given this restaurant more stars if the service had been better. The buns on the sandwiches were advertised as brioche but were regular hamburger buns. The calzone was supposed to come with a salad that never arrived. The chicken sandwich was ordered grilled but came fried. Hands down best wings in the Midwest. I am a connoisseur of good wings and these melted off-the-bone and their signature sauce are delightful. Their beers are also scrumdiddlyumptious. And my server was great despite what the other people have experienced service-wise but I did come on a weekday vs. a weekend. The food was disappointing. But ordered the turkey blt. The turkey was low quality pink deli meat. We also had cheese curds which were too rubbery and oily. Normally fried foods should come on a paper to absorb and excess oil. These were just sitting on a pan and left small pools of grease. While we were eating someone was mopping right next to us and the cleaner was so strong it made my food taste like bleach. The fried fish was good. The Cajun potatoes were soaked in a strange sauce that tasted like vinegar. The service was great. Our waitress brought out little drink samples for us to try. Love it! Absolutely love love love it. From the wonderful tshirt, fantastic staff, the watermelon peach hard seltzer, the pulled pork poutine... so many things to love. T tried a couple good beers- she really like the Oktoberfest. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and the Italian Beef were delicious- we got them with Cajun potatoes and loaded potatoes. We really wanted to love this place, but everything was mediocre that we had. The nachos I ordered might have been good if the meat and cheese were baked with the chips first, but even the temperature on the food was medium. Even the hubs said despite all the toppings it was bland. His gyro was also mediocre. Those are two things that seem easy enough to get right, but no dice. Great beer; even better food. I tried this gastropub out during CV-19 actions. It was well worth the short drive from Northern Illinois. My flight was great: ESB and IPA were awesome. NEIPA was good. Stout was a little closer to a porter for me. We had Avocado Toast and Cheese Curds for appetizers and they were great; special shout out for the glaze and fresh bread on the avocado toast. Is that right, because that is what it looks like? Once you find the place you go in and it is a fairly large bar, dining room, and some private event rooms. The beer was good, I had an Oktoberfest. Megan's IPA was better. I had a gyro and tots and they were good, Megan enjoyed her tacos. I wanted tacos too but they all had mayo based sauces so no. The food was decent with their own twists on things. The poutine had fried curds and they used tator tots. It was a nice twist, the gravy was tasty. I will have to say some of the best craft beers brewed that I have had in a Brewery in years. Very impressed with the quality. I also had dinner. I had the pork Shanks with mashed potatoes it was awesome also. Its good to know there is a place that still make great beer and not doing cookie cutter beers that it seems the way craft beer has moved . I tried 5 of their 8 beers and they were all spot on style and flavor. I highly recommend the place. This was my first visit and I will stop again when I'm in town. Hope the quality stays . I ordered a Turkey BLT with their Cajun potatoes in the side for delivery through door dash! First, they packaged my meal just right so it could make the 15 minutes to my house still warm and NOT soggy! I can't thank them enough for that! Second, I paid 13 bucks for the BIGGEST sandwich and side potatoes I've ever gotten! In my opinion, you get well beyond what you pay for. I had enough for two if not three meals! Third, my meal was the tastiest thing I've ever tasted. I don't even know how to describe how GOOD of a BLT it was. Who knew blt's could be this wonderful. The Cajun potatoes are spicy and delicious. We recently had a bridal shower at KBC. Let me start with the positive - the event room is lovely and the waitress we had was nice. That, however, is where it ends. This is my first ever Yelp review. So while it is going to look like I am one of "those" people who like to complain, know that I never do........ I really just would not want anyone else to go to this place and waste their money for a special event in their lives. The venue is very dirty. The bathrooms were filthy & smelled awful and there were fruit flies in our event room. We put out our desserts and they were swarmed with fruit flies. They said they couldn't proceed with the mimosa fountain - or put out juice to self make - because the fruit flies were too bad. We eventually got them to bring in individual mimosas and serve them to the guests but they brought out 12 for 40 people and stopped serving. We had to ask for more and got another 12 (then another 12 after we asked for more, etc.). It was like pulling teeth. In addition, we had to ask them to bring soda/water 10 minutes after the event started as they never brought any out. We continued to have to ask them to refill throughout the event as they never checked and brought 2 pitchers of water at a time for 40 people. The buffet came out late and only after we asked for it. Then one waitress brought out one item at a time until we finally had everything. WE were asking if we could help because the process was so slow. After getting the food, there were no plates - when I asked I was met with "they must be on your tables." They obviously weren't so we asked them to bring some and place by the buffet - we got one stack of 15 for 40 people and the waitress went and sat back down at her spot in the restaurant. We had to ask 3 more times before we eventually had enough clean plates for everyone in the room to eat (oh, and almost one full stack of plates that came was dirty so people had to go through them, setting aside the dirty ones). Serving utensils were missing and the syrup for the chicken & waffles was brought - after we asked twice and after everyone had already went through the buffet line. 90% of our people were done eating by the time we got it. I had to go around with the bowl and offer to those who were still eating. We were constantly going to ask the waitress for everything we needed. By the time the MOB and I sat down to eat everyone else was done and my food was ice cold. We had to ask them to come back later and clear people's dirty plates as they never did. Two waitresses then came and took the plates of those who were done. However, they never came back to clear those who hadn't finished on their first trip through. When I was finished, I had to clear 10 plates myself and put them on a table in the restaurant. The waitress who was sitting out there thanked me but never got up to help. It was ridiculous. We were pleasant, as was our waitress, but the service/follow-thru never got better. The food was not good - sloppy joes had the thinnest layer of meat (think jam spread on toast) and tasted terrible. The waffles were hard - couldn't even cut them. Bruschetta was hard garlic bread with no toppings. In addition, the sound from the bar restaurant is ridiculously loud - we had to shout to be heard by the guest for games, etc. At one point I asked for these little wood room partitions we had seen used as door "blocks" when we were visiting the venue initially. While it wouldn't have blocked all the noise, it would have helped some. The manager/bartender and wait staff I approached (they were at the bar talking) looked at me like I was talking about something they had never heard of. One waitress said "oh I think I have seen those - I could go look for them" but they never came..... In short: I am not normally a complainer, we were INCREDIBLY patient and kind to the staff but this place was just bad. It was dirty, gross, slow, bad food, poor service and did not meet ay of the needs one would have for an event. Do not book your special day here. read more

Total lack of flavor and I honestly don't know that there was vodka in it. The service was terrible. Waited on a table for a long time when the bar wasn't even half full. Took a long time to get beers to the table. Waitress messed up the order and never checked in on the table. To be fair to her, I think she was new. HORRIBLE service, bad food, and ok beer.... If you get a girl named Andrea just leave. She will do the bare minimum, at best, as she rather sit on her phone instead of work. She never checked on us, never cleared an empty plate, glasses, etc. the entire time we were there (and we had an app and a couple rounds of drinks) as she just paced around and went on her oh one instead. I had the tacos, my daughter had the pizza, and my gf had the BLT, with curds as a starter, none of which I would hve again. The fish was so bland and flavorless and the pizza was soggy. They were playing some super ghetto/trashy music, and I was there with my 7yr old. Once our food came she never came back until she dropped the bill off. I had to flag down the other bartender/server who was busting her tail off. When the bill came Andrea asked how it was, we said really bad, she said "oh ok" and then walked away. She never offered to go boxes, tho we wouldn't have taken it anyway (just the principle). I did enjoy the Hopscotch Scottish ale for the beers, the others were just ok.
