They fix it right the first time. On top of that, I had one problem that could have waited and they told me I could wait. I didn't wait but it was refreshing to have someone be that straightforward with me. I will absolutely be taking my cars here for all of their future service. I should add that I like the fact they are a locally owned business rather than a franchise so the profits will be reinvested in our community instead of being sent to an out of state corporate headquarters.

On 4/28/2026 they called to tell me that I had a major exhaust leak and were outsourcing the repair to Quality Exhaust. The repair was complete and I was on my way that afternoon. It is now 6/12/2026, the weld that Quality Exhaust did on my suburban has failed and is back in a repair shop having the weld redone correctly. I called Steve & Stacy's and they basically just said sorry. I feel that because it is unreasonable for me to return to their shop to have the repair fixed, I should be offered a refund. they did give me the name and information for Quality Exhaust but thats all they had to offer me. Quality Exhaust was terrible to me when I called. I would not say that Steve & Stacy's are at fault for the weld failing however I made my payment to them, they should provide the refund and deal with the terrible owner at Quality Exhaust themselves.

This work was done on 4/28/2026. It is 6/12/2026 and the welds failed and the exhaust needs to be rewelded. When I called and spoke with them the gentleman who answered the phone said that he would repair it for free however I am many many miles away and that is unrealistic. He gave me the owners phone number. I called him and explained the situation. I asked for a refund on the repair, he then accused me of being rude and yelling at him, I did not do either of those things. He said that if I send him photos of the failed weld he would work with me as long as I am not rude. I was not rude in the first place and I was explaining to him in a very calm and even tone that I was not trying to be rude and was just explaining the situation to him, He hung up on me. I believe they knew I was an out of towner and didn't take the time and effort to do the repairs correctly or adequately. I do not recommend this business.

At this point there was not bad blood between us yet just for the record. But after that I was furious and dumbfounded that someone would so such a thing. He later called back and I told him that was not appropriate he said oh well I was driving. So he agreed he would fix the problem free of charge although he had previously told my husband he would have to pay for the part. He told me to call at 7:30am the next day which I did and then once again he ignored all my calls. I drove out there anyway and then he acted like I didn't call. I said I did and he said well I wasn't here. Once again another lie and more of the run around. He said he was not able to do it today. I said I was tired of this and he said well be tired I don't care. He insulted both my husband and I on the phone later that day when we both tried to call him. Later he even had someone tell us he was not available and in the bathroom. What a coward. He couldn't even be man enough to just own up to whatever his problem was. So now I've paid 1600.00 and still have problems that were supposed to be covered by his work as well as my same old parts he put back in my car instead of putting new parts in as he promised. I highly do not recommend! BEWARE.
