Had to write a review simply because the bartender (Dean) was awful. What a grumpy bastard. When we sat down at the bar he ignored us for awhile. He Literally was yelling at one of the waiteress when she asked question about a customer complaining they got doubled billed. Felt so bad for the young lady. We had been here last October and had a good time. Watched college football had a few drinks and got an appetizer last year. This year we were there on a Sunday and the Pat's were on. This time we ordered two slices of pizza which were pretty good. I think we both would have ordered another slice but the bar tender was so grumpy we didn't want to deal with him again. Had a good ambiance and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Would be a great place to relax and enjoy the quiet off the Main Street very dark and cozy. We had nachos as an appetizer and I would say skip those they were just some tostino chips, melted cheese, and jar salsa I would say these nachos were on the lowered end of average. For lunch I split a buffalo chicken ceaser wrap and a Vermonster sandwich. I would recommend both of these! I would say the buffalo chicken wrap may have been better, it was a good balance of spicy and ceaser and the wrap was stuffed all the way to the end so you did not get those last few bites that were just wrap. I really liked the Vermonster it was juicy and flavorful and probably would have been better than the wrap had the apple on it been crispy, it was a little mealy which I guess makes sense it's not apple season but if it was, I would order this over the wrap. The rubeun was fine not great, a pretty average sandwich nothing special and same with the chicken parm sub. The buffalo chicken salad had great chicken on it but it may have heated the rest of the salad up because because it was kind of warm, which is not my favorite for a salad. read more

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Arrived around 7:00pm and asked if my partner and I could have a seat outside. The waitress pointed to a group of people still eating and said they would be gone soon and to wait. After five minutes we were able to sit down (grabbed our own menus). About 10 minutes later, the waitress came and cleared off the old food and drinks from the previous customers, and came back to wipe down the table. She then took our order: poutine for a starter, French dip sandwich with an added side of fries for $8.00, and a chicken parm sub. Eventually the waitress comes back with a basket of fries, puts it in the table and leaves. No plates, no silverware or napkins, no salt or pepper or ketchup.... And we also didn't order fries for a starter. If the fries were part of the sandwich order, why would it come out BEFORE the appetizer? After realizing how incompetent the waitress and now the kitchen was, we decided to leave. Luckily, she was coming out with the poutine (another 10 minutes since the random basket of fries had been brought out) and I was able to explain why we were leaving. We were told to check this place out by friends who used to live in the area. They were incredibly busy, but we were able to get a table outside pretty quickly. Since we were in Vermont, we decided to try the poutine, and it was delicious! I don't know how that dish works, but it does!! We just ordered sandwiches. I had the Southwest chicken sandwich. A solid pizza place in the heart of Burlington. We ordered a small cheese and meatball and this pizza was huge. It's definitely NY style and that's a good thing. Also ordered some salads with chicken on them and they were good. We chose to do takeout and as someone who owns a few businesses I want to say that the staff were great and the guys in the kitchen were having a blast. From the take out area you can partially see into the kitchen. Having staff that are having fun at work and still doing a great job says a lot about the establishment. We'll be back read more

In the four pizzas I had in Burlington, this would be a top 2 pizza. It reminded me of a college town pizza place, where they conveniently have a sit in area on the walking mall and a front entrance leading to a dining room, or around the corner a walk in take out area with some limited seating as well, Total hole in the wall where you pick up the take out, which reminded me of a taxi tv show set with a pickup window modeled after a plexiglass movie counter. Pizza was ready promptly and the staff was nice enough. Pizza had the perfect amount of sauce to cheese to grease ratio. Went for lunch today, service was great BUT what I can only assume was the owner yelled at and about employees (2 different instances) within earshot of customers. All I can say is DO BETTER. Ken's seemed to be packed by the look of a full outdoor seating area in the front, but the hostess told us we could be seated outside on the side and the back!! The "specialty " Aloha pizza had bare minimum toppings, I couldn't even visualize the canned pineapple. Our pepperoni pizza was a sad sight. Went here for lunchner (lunch/dinner) with my parents during our Vermont Vacation, and visit to The Church Street Marketplace on August 27th 2023. We sat in the tiki bar behind the restaurant with the high tables and island atmosphere. A server greeted us right away, and she was very nice. For drinks, we got waters, i got a pina colada, my dad also got the pina colada, and my mom got the chunky monkey, which was a banana drink. All of our drinks were very refreshing and delicious! highly recommend! for appetizers, we got pretyls, and a spinach dip. both were good and enjoyable. For our entrees, I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, my dad ordered a rueben, and my mom ordered some other sandwich. even the sandwiches were pretty good! We enjoyed our meals. Waitress was also great at checking on us to make sure the food was good. We paid with a credit card, and left a cash tip. Before we headed on our way, we used the bathrooms inside, which were very clean. Don't think we'd be in Vermont anytime again, but this is a must stop if we are! read more

Ordered a large pizza with pepperoni and sausage for take out. The take out window is on the side of the main entrance. The cashier must have not heard me correctly because I received yellow peppers instead of pepperoni. Surprisingly the combination actually tasted pretty good. The pizza itself was delicious. This restaurant is always packed and does not offer take out when they are too busy. I am giving it 4 stars only because when I returned to pick up my pizza there was a different cashier at the window and insisted they didn't have my order. After a lengthy discussion and showing my receipt and waiting another 15 minutes they gave me another customers pizza. It was a good thing I checked before leaving as the other customer was waiting there. All in all I would try it again and hope it goes smoother next time read more
