It is a large restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Our server greeted us promptly and took our drink order. We sat inside and the vibe was very pleasant. We got the calamari to start. It was flash fried and came with marinara sauce. I got the chicken parmigiana with a side pasta and my wife got spaghetti and meat balls. The sauce was light and very flavorful. Very good meal. One thing that seemed a little strange is they do not give you any bread with your meal. You can purchase.bread but nothing complementary. Not really a negative just different I guess.

We had a solid time at Pascolo Ristorante. Grabbed a last minute reservation off Resy and got a table for the evening which was great when we showed up there was a hour plus wait. We started with some Pinot Grigio it was okay for a house wine. Garlic bread came next, this was the star of the show for the evening. Simple yet bursting with flavor a real hit. I had the pappardelle salsiccia which had a solid white sauce. Noodles are all made in house daily which is nice they were cooked properly. The dish just didn't pop. Not sure what it was missing but something. It was good but not great. Kinda the theme besides the bread things were average to good but nothing else stood out. My wife had the gnocchi sorrentina said it was just okay and I agreed. We also got the alla vodka pizza and it again was okay but not great. Service was just okay waiter gave a big spiel to the table after he helped us about the menu and all the things but for us just said pasta is made in house and they don't have any specials haha so that was odd. The place gave good vibes and enjoyed the kinda wine cellar look and feel going downstairs. I would try a new Italian place next time in town but it's not bad just not great.

We needed a good carb load before the Vermont 1/2 Marathon and we chose Pascolo's. Our server was were lively and super nice. It sucked that you had to pay for table bread. It was good tho, nice garlic taste and covered with cheese. We also started with the Caesar salad which was really good. There were 5 of us and we split 2. Lots of cheese, the croutons tasted homemade, and the dressing was tasty. For my entree I got the vodka pasta and added chicken. I honestly was disappointed in the vodka sauce, it didn't have much flavor. I also thought the portion was small, if I didn't add the chicken I still would've been hungry after finishing. Although, the crispy chicken I did add was delicious. I'm glad we finally tried it here, but not sure I'll be back.

Went to Pascolo Ristorante for dinner during our trip and had a really lovely experience. We made a reservation for two online, which was super easy, and when we arrived, they were able to seat us a bit earlier than our scheduled time. Initially, we were seated outside, which looked charming, but it was an incredibly hot day. Thankfully, our waitress was very kind and accommodating and moved us to a table inside without any issue. My partner started with a cocktail called the Queen of Hearts. It looked beautiful and he said it was refreshing and well balanced. I went for their house-made unsweetened iced tea and it was exactly what I needed on such a warm evening. It had a clean taste and was served cold, which really hit the spot. To start, we shared the arugula salad. It was light and fresh with a peppery kick, and the ingredients tasted high quality. For our main course, we split the Roma pizza. The crust was thin and crispy, and the toppings were flavorful without being overwhelming. It was more than enough for the two of us and left us both satisfied. The ambiance inside the restaurant was cozy and stylish, with warm lighting and a welcoming atmosphere. Everything felt clean and well maintained. Service throughout the night was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and the overall vibe of the place. Pascolo Ristorante delivered on flavor, service, and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a nice dinner spot in the area.

Not sure how you could ever give this place less than a 5!? Get the garlic bread! Rigatoni à la vodka was perfect---homemade pasta....you could tell! Side of their meatballs hit the spot as did a huge salad! Must be on the dinner reservations if you're visiting Burlington!

We had an amazing client dinner here on Tuesday night. Zoe was an amazing server, and took great care of us. She recommended wines and entrees with expertise. The interior decor is absolutely gorgeous, and such a nice place to bring clients. For appetizers we tried the insalata caprese, garlic parmesan bread, and castelvetrano olives. These are the first olives I have ever tried and liked. We did not get the fried ones, we tried the ones with olive oil, sea salt. For main entrees we got a variety of dishes including chicken marsala, chicken parmesan, the gnocchi, and the brosato de manzo. Everything was cooked perfectly with delicious sauces, and the creamy polenta was amazing! Pascolo ristorante came highly recommended to us, and I can see why. Thank you for an amazing meal!

Fried Olives This was everything I wanted it to be and more! Golden fried, Castelvetrano olives surrounded by sausage then dusted with Parmesan. The sausage was fresh So freaking delicious! The aioli with it had a hint of lemon that cut the salty olive. A must try for an olive lover! #ThisFeedsMySoulStatusConferred on the olives only. Homemade Meatballs Two medium sized meatballs, the balls were good. After the flavorful sausage I expected more seasoning in the meatballs. The sauce was thick and had good chunks of tomato. They really had it balance with no tang to the sauce. Very well executed. Grilled Italian Sausage The sausage is phenomenal. Creamy polenta that was smooth and buttery. The broccolini was bland and the char was overpowering making it taste burnt. Having a bit more red sauce would've been great. I Cynivised by using the remaining sauce from the meatballs. All in all, very good food. I would say it's worth checking out.

Great spot. Highly recommend the parm garlic bread. Tasted amazing. The service was excellent too. We ordered salads which were both fresh and tasty. For the main course we got the spicy rigatoni and the chicken parm. Both were good, but didn't blow me away. Ambiance is nice, big space! Overall it was a great meal and a good value. Will be back!

Pascolo is a wonderful little establishment in Burlington. Our server Brooke was outstanding and unbelievably kind to us the whole night. The manager Kat came over and made sure we were well taken care of. I would come back any day. The pasta was delish and the company was even better. Good vibes all around!

Amazing food as always. All the pastas [handmade in house] were paired nicely within the entrees. Our server was great and has a lot of knowledge about the ingredients & menu items. Sat outdoors, great ambiance to watch Church Street.

Popped in for a couple espresso martinis and a pizza snack on a Saturday afternoon. Bartender: 5 stars. Pizza: 5 stars. Leak from the ceiling on the way to the bathroom that dripped into my hair: 1 star. Fix the hole.

We were warmly greeted, and they inquired if we were there for a table/bar seating, or the retail shop. They offer a small snack menu, along with a selection of wines, and they have a good knowledge and will provide counsel on the options. We ordered the ricotta toast and the lonzo, a ham similar to prosciutto. Both were delicious! The lonzo comes with a drizzle of quality olive oil on top, and a sprinkle of salt, and a dab of mustard. The ricotta toast (no pic sorry) was also tasty. The space leans to industrial loft, but is warm and invites conversations and relaxation. The shop also has a retail space, and a monthly wine club subscription is an option. It is separated from the restaurant, but not a quirk of their shop, but archaic Vermont liquor laws. We decide to subscribe and picked up our first selections to take home.

Perfect accompaniments to each plate: lemon and garlic with the fish, cherry conserves with the cheese, etc... We'll be back again and again, with friends in tow.

The same large, beautiful windows are there, but the decor is warm, trendy, and modern. Our hostess immediately wished my husband and me happy anniversary and the bartender team Max and Woody were truly outstanding and made our celebration special. They are adept at making cocktails. We tried Blue Bingo and Inside Out. Both were perfectly balanced. The Blue Bingo with fresh blueberry puree, garnished with blueberry and mint was refreshing. The Inside Out was similar to an Old Fashioned. We selected 4 small plates, one large plate, and one side. For small plates, the striped bass collar was meaty and flavored with an herb sauce and punchy blistered cherry tomatoes. The little neck clams came in a broth that was worth sopping up with the grilled sourdough. It was similar to having mussels in a luscious wine butter sauce. I would have eaten like 12 of the clams if they let me but they alas only give you 6. My favorite was grilled Romano beans, slightly crunchy, fresh, and light, with burrata and fried green tomatoes. The breading on the tomatoes was perfectly light and crunchy. The burrata was delicious, and I would have preferred to have it over the barchetta, fresh ravioli like pastas that came with fennel and arugula. The barchetta was missing that creamy element. The served our pork schnitzel as a "splitzel" served cut in half on two plates. Again, it was perfectly crunchy and light. We ordered pomme puree (mashed potatoes) as a side too, creamy and delicious. They had a decent wine and beer selection. We lucked out with our chenin blanc selection, which paired well with everything we had. Eat here! The menu changes every day. We can't wait to come back.

It didn't take long to identify the state's core competencies: Producing world-class cheese Perfecting brick oven pizza Aggressively curating a very specific political vibe Curiously, only two of those things are edible, and unfortunately, you can't get pizza without being reminded of the third. Also worth noting: I'm not convinced any other style of pizza exists in Vermont. If it's not artisanal, wood-fired, and served on a reclaimed barn board, it apparently doesn't make the cut. So naturally, my brain locked in and I ate pizza two nights in a row like a creature of habit. Night 1: Pizzeria Verità Parking was...aspirationally convenient. After navigating downtown Burlington, which feels like a live-action sociology thesis, I made it inside. Let's address the elephant in the room: the price. With tip, I dropped nearly $30 for what amounted to a personal-sized pepperoni pizza that politely declined to fill me up. I assume part of the cost goes toward sourcing ethically massaged tomatoes or ensuring the mozzarella had a fulfilling upbringing. Now, to be fair, the pizza was excellent. Truly. Great crust, quality ingredients, clearly crafted by someone who cares deeply about their art. But the value? That's where things get a little...Vermont. Delicious? Absolutely. Filling? Not quite. Financially efficient? Only if you measure wealth in vibes. I went in skeptical, left impressed, and still had to consider a second dinner.
