Great customer service despite a few product concerns.... My husband and I bought our wedding bands from Kent. We looked at a number of vendors in the jewelry exchange and settled on Kent, who had rings we both loved, and less pushy service than many of the competitors. I settled on a beautiful white gold band with a little bit over a carat of diamonds, featuring two rows of small round diamonds with a middle row of larger round diamonds in the middle; my husband went with a unique hammered white gold that is masculine and simple but has just enough detail to be special. We did a bit of haggling and I think we ended up with a competitive price for a product that appeared to be of higher quality than many mid-level jewelers. We saved the rings in our boxes until the wedding, excited to finally take out our gorgeous sparkly new bands, but within my first few days of wearing, a small stone had fallen out. After returning from our honeymoon, I brought the ring into Kent and they were very accomodating about replacing the stone and fixing the ring free of charge. Since then, this has happened two additional times -- never the large stones falling out, always the small ones, and Kent has agreed to fix each time, with a smile on their faces. (It should be noted to you, yelpers, and to kent, that I am an attorney who sits at a computer all day and am not doing serious manual labor with this ring on my hand, so the stones are really popping out after no harsh treatment at all.) We brought the ring back in this week after two stones fell out in quick succession, and again Kent was quite accomodating to my husband, remembering him from our past visits, and this time, are keeping the ring to have the manufacturer look at it. I want to love Kent, but I really don't know, as it stands now, how confident I would be making my next jewelry purchase there because of our experiences -- even though my gut is that we have a fluke defect. About 2 months ago i was making the scariest, most important decision of my life...asking the love of my life to marry me finally! I'd been to a few places, but I knew exactly what I was looking for and really hadn't seen it yet. Until i went to the Woodbridge Jewelry exchange. I walked in, I was immediately greeted by Ken and little did I know I'd found the perfect place. He was then nicest most accommodating guy ever. I had some pretty specific things I was looking for in a ring and wasn't open to change. It was no problem. When I say Ken absolutely knocked it out of the park- that's an understatement. I'm talking game 7 of the world series, bottom of the 9th, bases loaded, 2 outs, we are down three...and he hit a walk off grand slam to win the world series. To say she was astonished by the ring wouldn't do it justice. She is obsessed, absolutely obsessed with the ring. She gets compliments constantly on it and frequently hears the word "stunning!" And I couldn't have asked for a better price. Ken worked with me on that as well and gave me an offer I couldn't refuse. I'm glad I didn't write this right away because I've had the benefit of continuing to deal with Ken, as I can bring the ring in whenever to have it cleaned free of charge! The guy is awesome, the ring is stellar, and my wallet is happy. I don't usually praise people this much but I'd you don't at least check this place out (they have anything you need) you are doing yourself a huge injustice. Make sure to ask for Ken! Buyer beware!!! This team of scamers is not what you want to waist any of your hard earned money or time on. I unfortunatly was taken by kent jewlers and discovered that a very sentimental piece of my jewlery was nothing more than a peice of junk!!!! Instead of righting this wrong I was told that there is nothing that could be done and that my piece of jewlery had depreciated in value despite what an appraiser informed me of (that is was never worth what i had paid for it and that whatever jewler had sold it to me had taken advantage of my trust). Bottom like I was robbed by these clowns and am writing this to try to prevent anyone else from feeling this heart ache. Hope this helps at least one person out there read more
