I called because another dealership in Tacoma had my brand-new Winnebago trailer from June to October last year, then again from June to August this year for several problems. It has been in the shop for longer than in our possession. They didn't fix one of the main problems. But Skyler told me over the phone even though they are not an authorized Winnebago repair center, and I was not a current customer how to trouble shoot the problem that the other dealership didn't fix. I have never wasted so much money so quickly then I did at Poulsbo RV. Less than 18 months after we bought our trailer from them, it's a falling apart biohazard. When we initially went to pick up our trailer, not only was it not ready, but add-ons we had purchased weren't installed and the inverter was bad. That was fixed soon enough, but only after multiple emails to the service department and our salesman allowed us to actually pick it up at a time convenient to us. 15 months later and the trailer may well be a total loss. Even though we took it to Poulsbo for winterization after owning it for only 5 months, we've had significant water intrusion that resulted in huge amounts of mold taking over the carpet under the dinette, in addition to a cracked skylight, the inverter broken AGAIN, and a warping front facade. To think that on our vacations and weekends in State Parks, my family was breathing in mold spores due to the slipshod product that Poulsbo RV sold us for over $30k is disgusting. Avoid Poulsbo RV at all costs - their products are garbage. read more

I was really happy with the service I received for my camper van. Thw warrenty work was scheduled in advance with a quick visit while we waited and the work was performed on the return service appointment, again while I waited. No leaving the vehicle for weeks like so many other RV dealers insist on doing. The service advisor Skyler was great to work with, as was the service technician, who shook my hand after personally explaining the work he performed. They do not require a seller to do a diagnostic check on a vehicle for inactive service lights. This practice can end up costing you and does end up costing people thousands of dollars of unnecessary repairs that the original seller should have paid. This practice is very dangerous because you don't know that you're getting ripped off until after you have gotten ripped off. So, the practice is if you have inactive codes on your diagnostics that turn off after you turn the key off, then the codes will not show up until they are active again. By taking you on flat. Low impact test drives. You never really have time to get a code to be active if you having engine problems. This is a very underhanded low practice can teach you a valuable lesson. read more

My Master Sargent bought an RV from here as he was going through a hard time a needed a place to stay immediately. He made that very aware and they pointed him to a Transit. They seemed super nice and like they were taking care of him. The total loan was over 120K. Well the government shutdown and he couldn't afford to cover that and his home and when he went back to see if they'd be interested in buying it back, it was only valued at 65K. So if you have a ton of money to burn and spend on their paychecks here's the spot for your next RV! If you want a military friendly service and a great deal, probably look somewhere else. I'd sooner use marketplace then anything from here. read more

For what it's worth, I bought my 2014 Tiffin Phaeton 40qbh new from these guys and have had pretty good experience. I really like working with Scott Johnson who has been here forever and has a good, pragmatic, and honest attitude. Yes, RVs are expensive. Man, I would not trust buying a used RV from all the horror stories. No, I don't trust extended warranties sold by dealers (I did buy an after market one and actually was pretty useful but you must read the fine print). And yeah, I know it's a privilege to buy an expensive diesel pusher, but Tiffin generally was honorable about their warranty and Poulsbo did a good job. The first three years you should expect nothing but problems with your coach. After that, things hopefully settle down. If you recognize this is a lifestyle purchase, and a pricey one, I've generally had good luck with the Kent store. My domestic partner (Mary) and I were in the market for a small motorhome, we could go for a weekend or more in the PNW area and beyond, camping and seeing the sites along the way. We were both excited to live the RV life a few weeks a year, but we were quickly disappointed and quite frankly appalled with the "sales tactics" that Paulsbo RV used on us. We just happened upon Poulsbo RV In Sumner, WA and decided to go in and see if they may have something small, that would work with our combined budgets. We were approached by a salesman right away, his name was Johnathan. He was very nice and said he'd worked for Poulsbo RV for several years. So we felt comfortable knowing someone that had experience with motor coaches would be showing us around. Johnathan showed us a variety of makes & models. After about an hour we finally settled on a 2017 Winnebago "View", to take a more in-depth look at. Right away I noticed the front wheel had an area the size of a baseball where the chrome had flaked off, there was a few small dents in the body too but nothing out of the ordinary. It was a used vehicle after all. We then proceeded to notice a half a dozen things that needed to be fixed. Johnathan made a point about how there were no seams/joints in the front of the coach (above the drivers area) which are apparently notorious for leaking water. Johnathan explained it as a potential area that could possibly leak. Johnathan showed us the area where the grey and black water tank valves are located. There was a valve handle for each tank, so I took the opportunity to open the valves. After pulling on both of them it became apparent that the valves are way to hard to open, but after finally tugging on them for several seconds, I was finally able to open the gray water valve, but couldn't push it back to the closed position. After boarding the coach my partner, Mary, noticed the middle drawer below the stove top was tilting to one side and it was difficult to open and close, so we brought it up to Johnathan. It was at this point where Johnathan went from a salesman to a con man, he said "don't worry about anything, whatever issues we find here, we will make a note of it and it will go to our service department and they'll spend a week going through it, with a fine tooth comb." In closing this review, be careful and don't take anything a Paulsbo RV salesman, sales manager, finance man or finance manager says, as truth or even close to it. The other issues we had that weren't fixed were: (1) a leak in the coach roof, right over the drivers area was discovered on our first trip out camping. (2) the exhaust fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy when it was turned on. (3) the the electrical outlet near the bathroom sink was not providing power. (4) the large area on the passenger side front wheel had a baseball size section of chrome that had flaked off. (5) the drawer under the stove top is still not hanging even and it is still hard to open and close. (6) the chassis battery was dead and in need of replacement. We trusted what they said and that got us even further in debt. BE CAREFUL, DON'T FALL VICTIM TO PAULSBO RV, when they say, they'll "go through it with a fine tooth comb", ask them this, that's all great, but will you fix them? read more

I've had my Winnebago Revel into Poulsbo RV Kent on 2 occasions to resolve factory recall issues, and have had nothing but good service. I was able to get appointments in a timely manner, and on both occasions was provided same-day service and a comfortable place to wait. Kent is over 2 hours from my home, but it was worth the drive. Camping World in Burlington is an hour away, but each time they said that they would need my van for at least a week, which would have been highly inconvenient. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to please. I highly recommend Poulsbo RV in Kent! read more

Just bought a 2025 forest river from poulsbo RV with the new deck off the living room. First thing that had to go was there mattress. If you call it that. The cheap bathroom cabinet and little plastic sink with brown contact paper for the counter had to go. Replaced with a one piece sink and counter with a Metal faucet. One of the camera mounts were put on backwards. The underneath part was drop down so water from road could get in. Thought they just forgot a screw. No the broke screw and just said oh well. Most of the magnets on the drawers were not lined up. Had to move them so they catched and stayed closed. You put a big sliding door for the patio. Why not add a screen door. And to top it all off our first trip out with it, The double door refrigerator door came open. Food all over the floor. Also the 70 inch tv came off the wall. H hey never pushed the TV in bracket to lock it. Now it has been almost 2 months to get the TV replaced. We fixed the other damaged ourself read more

I called and setup an appointment to have 3 recall items fixed on my 2022 Tiffin RV. They tell me it will be 2 months for the parts to come in and we setup an appointment 2 months later. I show up at my appointment and the tech asks "What brings you in?" I tell them about the recall items and 3 new minor issues. They tell me it's a two day job which sucks cause I brought it in on a Friday. I had to get a hotel for 4 days instead of 2. Live and learn. I show up EOD Tuesday (3 day job I guess, not 2) This is now my F up. I drive away without reading all the paperwork... I drive my RV 90 miles away. Take out the paperwork and read it fully. They did none of the recall fixes, only the 3 minor ones... I call them the next evening to ask what happened... Nobody ordered the parts for the recall and they just didn't tell me! Still 2 months for the parts to get in etc. I was able to bring it in 1 week later and they repaired 1 of the 3 recall items, but not the two most important, my slide outs. Lastly, when I go to take my RV to be fixed at a place down in California a few months later, they inform me that there are no active recalls listed on my RV and the slide out ones are shown as fixed in the tiffin database... THEY WERE NOT FIXED, THEY STOPED WORKING hence me getting it fixed at this new place. Total fail. ball dropped at almost all stages. I'd give it a zero other than our salesman was super cool. if you buy used from them DO NOT get the extended warranty. They will make it sound like you need it and spin it to make you believe that you do. However, every single one of the issues I've had with the RV I bought from them somehow didn't fall under the extended warranty. I was bamboozled. I lost $10,000 dollars because I fell for it. Went today to the location to check out some RVs and the options available to us. The salesperson asked some qualifying questions and specifically how much we wanted to put down... BEFORE EVEN WALKING OUT TO THE LOT... basically came back and said they didn't have anything we were looking for at that location. Savannah was nice however when she greeted us at the front door. The salesman, with beard and tattoos, was not helpful. Apparently if you're not wanting to talk about financing before looking at inventory, he's not interested in your business. read more

We recently purchased a 2006 Thor Dutchmen Rainier 26FBDSL from Poulsbo RV in Kent. I'm pictures it looked like a great deal for the money and we were excited about adventures to be had. Upon taking it home a week later after a complete inspection and repairs to damaged items that we noted in the sale- we found more problems! The tale light didn't work, blinker didn't work, bathroom fan vent was broken, faucet leaked, the gray and black water tanks were over 2/3rds full, and several other minor things were noticed. We hooked it up to a water line and watched as the RV flooded and began spraying water all out the backside of the RV. This prompted several phone calls with Jason, sales manager and David, manager. We brought the RV back the next day with additional issues: power tongue not working, flooding, water line leaks, and the minor repairs we had noted. Our experience with Trailers was questioned, no apologies were offered, and mass confusion over why a previous buyer had backed out a month earlier was blamed. At the end of the day, assures by David and the service department that everything was good as new, we went back to discuss the repairs that were made and if this was a "lemon" when right off the bat, the power tip out stopped working. After we watched three service members use hammers under the trailer bang it back out for about forty minutes, we went back to David to say we too would not be completing the sale of this RV. We were assured that everything was fixed and it was in "good shape." That if any additional issues came up we could bring it back and they would have goodwill towards us to fix things. No offers of refunds, lower cost, or warranties were given and still no simple apologies. We stayed in clear terms that we would not be purchasing and would like the sale to be terminated due to our lack of trust in the product they are selling and the work they do. We were told a GM would need to sign off on it. Said GM was not available at that time and we could discuss it with them to see if this was an "option." We left without the RV and had the good fortune of having the GM call us about an hour later to terminate the sale. This took an additional week to happen. All I can say is if you are buying used- I would think twice! Especially since the same trailer we just return has been marked up in price and listed again on their website for some other unsuspecting customer! What a shit show! read more

We live in Alaska and found a 2019 Jayco Seneca via the online inventory at Paulsbo RV in the Fall of 2021. Since we weren't able to see it in person, we asked a lot of questions via texting/email. This wasn't our first RV purchase but was our first time dealing with an out of state dealer. Our sales guy Jonathan K. was incredibly helpful and responsive - he even took a video test drive and showed us all the features. Sent the husband to WA to test drive it with Jonathan's assistance and it was a done deal! The entire Paulsbo team were awesome and accommodating. They allowed us to keep the RV on their lot all winter and we even flew to WA in November and took it out for a weekend test run (Jonathan picked us up at our hotel!) before having it shipped to AK in April. DONT BOTHER WITH THE EXTENDED WARRANTIES. OR DO BUSINESS HERE AT ALL FOR THAT MATTER. I'm sure there are those more experienced who could probably tell you this, but seeing as how we just got first hand experience with this issue, I figured I'd share. The extended warranties don't cover the number one damage you'd want to have coverage for in the PNW- rain. We are just barely outside of the manufacturer warranty for our 2020 R-pod, which has developed a leak and covered the interior of our trailer with mold over the winter. When I called and asked if this would be covered, they said, "ohhh, yeaaaahhhh... you're supposed to check the seals every 30 days, the warranty doesn't cover this." So, why the hell did your salesman tell me it was a "wall to wall, bumper to bumper" plan? I paid for the top level extended warranty, and now, just over a year in, you're telling me it won't cover a dime? And what am I supposed to do, get out there with a 20 foot ladder and climb on the roof every month to make sure the seals are holding? I don't even know how to do that. Which seals? All of them? What am I looking for? Am *I* a certified technician all of a sudden? Would it be acceptable if a year old car roof started leaking, and Ford or Chevy turned down the warranty because "ohhhh sorryyyyy, you didn't get out there with a vacuum and pressure test all the seals inside the main cab." It's ridiculous. And what's WORSE, is they don't even have availability to look at the damn thing for a month. Kinda wild, it's almost like they're making great money selling shoddy trailers to unexpecting suckers like myself. They'll say anything they can to get you to make a purchase, with all the extra bells and whistles to make you feel protected, then leave you high and dry when it hits the fan. Please. Take your money elsewhere. I don't hate many things, but I loathe dishonesty, deceit, and blatant lack of clarity when making a deal. And the only thing worse than that is a salesman who sells you a trash product, then makes no effort to make it right. Every single one of these people give even the worst used car salesman a bad name. God in heaven please don't let my kid ever grow up and work here. I'll have no choice but to disown him. Bought an RV with only 4300 miles on it. So pretty new really. The salesman was very nice but the guy you sign papers with was something else. We paid cash so no financing involved but when we wouldn't pay for the extended warranty he was rude. They said they went through it but I don't believe they could have very well the solar on board doesn't work and we had to replace the batteries we're still not sorry we didn't give them an extra $8000 for their warranty. Went here today to take another look at a RV that we have previously seen at Poulsbo. Explained to the sales man that we just wanted to take another look at it to be able to compare to another vehicle we are thinking about. He insisted that we fill out a questionnaire about the price we wanted to spend, what we want our payments to be ext. We have already done this and have narrowed it done between this particular RV and another, hence why we want to see the inside again. Long story short, after going back and forth for 20 minutes about this pointless questionnaire and how he didn't want to disappoint us, he actually did disappoint us because my baby woke up while waiting and we left. He listened to the criteria we needed in an RV, showed us the perfect trailer and that was it. No fuss, no haggle, and a good price! Then Erik went out of his way to answer all questions after we put down a deposit and up to the day we picked up the trailer. He was also instrumental in making sure we bought a truck that could handle towing the trailer. $200 charge for warranty work is outrageous. Plus the work was done wrong so I had to take it apart and fix it. I have a new gouge in my floor and black scrape marks on my RV. Unfortunately they are the only authorized repair center nearby for the work I needed done. read more

We went in and looking for a small trailer for a lesser amount. Well that's not how it goes. Their selection was amazing even during the Covid hoax. Mike Lee (salesman) showed us a bunch of different options and knew the product in and out. We settled on the trailer that my wife wanted. After we bought it they do a walk around with you and hook everything up. We got to work with Matt. That dude is smart. Showed us everything we needed to know and things we had no clue about. I wish I had read these reviews before we bought our RV at a different poulsbo RV location. It appears they are all using the same sales tactics. We paid $10k to have the used class A we bought completely gone through and everything fixed that needed fixing. Never got a list of the work they did, but I saw for myself what they DID NOT do. Like checking the fan belt on the motor, which turned out to be shredded, installing batteries correctly, installing slide toppers properly, didn't change the engine oil or fix a windshield ding, etc etc etc. Total rip off. read more

Called Paulsbo RV in Kent, Washington for warranty service. They refused to book any service appointment, no matter how far out since I did not purchase the Winnebago RV at Paulsbo, Kent. Service told me "maybe some day we will start doing service on everyone's RV in the future". This is unacceptable for a dealership not to honer vehicle service for which they are considered a factory authorized Winnebago service center. I called Winnebago to let them know and they agreed with me. Hope they have their Winnebago dealership taken away. I previously tried to buy an RV from them and they raised the price of the RV, at last minute, from 103K to over 106K saying that is what it cost to do a presale/service inspection on it. The response from Paulsbo RV is attached. The Winnebago manufacturer did not think it is OK to not observe warranty service. Also, I thought Motor Homes, by definition, are movable and can go everywhere in the US, Canada and even Mexico. If I buy from Poulsbo, have a problem and on the East Coast of USA, am I suppose to drive 3,000 miles to Poulsbo RV in the Seattle area to get something repaired? I do not think this is reasonable. May you lose your Winnebago dealership. read more

Hate to even give them 1 star.Well is a continuation of my first post of 3/3/23.So I am stuck with this overpriced piece of crap I had to restore the floors because of severe water damage and sagging floors. This part is to acknowledge that I was ill prepared to buy a travel trailer.I take responsibility for not doing all my due diligence in the process.Not saying that I didn't do any,but quite clearly,not near enough.But you know,the level of just plain out lying boggles my mind.Ok,anyway,pulled up the carpet and oh wow! Seems they cut half the floor out in the slide and tried to put it back together and you would just not believe! I took a video to send to the attorney general along with the everything else.All I can say is there are big gaps in the "replacement wood" It would almost be funny if it wasn't so messed up!I am going to keep posting because now I am heading in the bedroom to see what's happening there.I'm almost scared to pull up the carpet.Just PLEASE PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Their service dept only services campers purchased at Poulsbo RV. Is this a violation of the Magnusson Moss Warranty Act? A violation of their agreement with Forest River (and other camper companies) as a licensed warranty work dealer? Can a service department add extra requirements to a consumer in order gain "entry" for warranty work? They also over charge by $15k for campers, so basically you have to pay $15k to get on their "list" of people they will do warranty work for. Very suspect. Google the camper you want to buy and you can find it elsewhere for much less. read more

Overall happy with my experience purchasing a used motor home and trading in both a fifth wheel and a tow vehicle (3/4 ton pickup truck). I feel the deal we got was fair and the people we were dealing with were nice. I did experience some of the common tactics dealers use to boost their profit like trying to sell over $10K worth of add ons, but i didn't feel unduly pressured when firmly saying no. I don't typically buy extended service contracts. All they are is a gamble your luck will be worse than average as they set the price of the contract to ensure the underwriter and dealer make a profit after paying all claims. I do recommend paying close attention to the paperwork you sign. I found a few errors that would have cost me a few thousand more had I not been paying attention. For example, the final paperwork I signed at delivery added $1500 for a tire warranty I had already said I didn't want. To be fair, I don't think this was intentional. I think it was left over from when I asked for a quote of all the extras so I could decide what I wanted, if anything. They likely just missed backing it out of the computer. Some other minor distractions: (1) I paid $2500 for a pre-delivery inspection (PDI). When I questioned why this inspection is so expensive the business manager claimed he typically sees $7000 repair bills for service as a result of these PDI's. Of course, if that were true, the dealer would be losing money so I just don't believe that. I think what he meant to say is it's possible a PDI could result in a $7000 repair bill that would be covered by service, but I'm sure this $2500 is overall profitable and rarely costs the dealer more than what they charge. For the cost of this service i would expect some form of paperwork as evidence the PDI actually checked what was promised and a list of items that were repaired or replaced. Without this paperwork I have little confidence the PDI was as thorough as promised, especially when there was an exterior light burned out I would have expected this to catch and the PDI also missed a cracked windshield, which I caught during the walk through. It also missed a broken keyless entry lock which I had to replace myself. They replaced the windshield and made two other minor repairs. Overall not a huge deal, but hopefully Poulsbo will take this as feedback to help improve. (2) leading up to delivery day, there was no proactive heads up for what they needed me to bring. (Insurance on the new motor home, driver license, etc.). I only got an answer when I asked. Of course nobody said to bring the title for my truck I was trading in so I didn't even think of it. Had I been given a heads up I probably could have found it and brought it, and saved the dealership some paperwork for a lost title. (3) on the day of delivery I had to wait about an hour and ten mins after my appt time to start the delivery walk through. This wasn't that big a deal, but it would have been good if they could have called and said to show up an hour later since they were running behind. (4) the tech who did my walkthrough on delivery day was nice and knowledgeable in general about motorhomes, but not very knowledgeable about the specific differences of the used Jayco coach I was buying. I presume this is because Poulsbo is not a Jayco dealer. No big deal, but there were a few Jayco specifics he didn't know about, cover, or got wrong. Nothing that would compromise safety, just convenience features like how the display can switch between Apple car play and the backup camera. He also up-sold me on a surge protector and gave me a "good deal" at $400 (normally $500). I saw the same exact surge protector at camping world the next day for $350. No big deal, just a reminder to do some homework before buying anything additional on delivery day. Forget any detailing at all, on a used RV purchased here. They clean nothing, though they claim they do. We were angry to end up with a filthy dirty vehicle - LOADED with disgusting black dog hair in all the fabric upholstery. It took us two days, to clean it up to make it just livable. Communication is wonky with PRV. One department doesn't know what another is doing. A frustrating experience, for us. We won't recommend Poulsbo RV. read more

Worst service ever! We bought an used RV here in September. It's our second RV purchased through Poulsbo and we also sold one through them so we are repeat customers. When we went to pick it up we got a walk through that stopped when the person showing us how it worked couldn't get the fridge to automatically go to DC power. We were told to come back next week after a part was ordered and the fridge fixed. When we came back next week we were told that there was nothing wrong with the fridge, switching to DC had to be done manually and here's your RV - no further walkthrough. OK - so wasted trip and had to cancel a short vacation we'd planned in the RV. A week later while I was setting up the RV the fridge freezer door spring broke. I went to Poulsbo to get some supplies a couple of days later and asked about getting the door fixed. This was September 20th. The service person asked me to send in pictures so he could diagnose the problem and get the parts ordered. I did the next day. September 25th I got a response that he was working on getting the parts, then no further contact. October 4th I checked in again and this time copied my sales person. The next day I got a response with a price and a time of 1 week to get the part. After a bit of back and forth I agreed to have Poulsbo do the fix on October 6th. November 10 and no contact from Poulsbo so I checked in again also copying my sales person. On November 15th I got a confirmation the part was in but service was booked into December. This install was quoted as a 1 hour job! I couldn't get a time slot until December 15 which I took. I also informed that service person that we were leaving in the RV December 25th so really needed the work done. December 15th I show up at the booked time. After 1 1/2 hours the service person informs me the part isn't in. I have to come back the following Monday the 18th but the service person will call and confirm the part is in. No call on Monday so I call later. Doesn't know if the part is in. Checks - not in. Will call Tuesday and tell me if the part is in. No call Tuesday. No call Wednesday and I'm running out of time before Christmas. I get my sales person to check on this again and am told Friday is when I can bring it in. So I cancel a medical appointment to do it and finally the work is done the last day possible before we are going away. All for a freezer door replacement taking under an hour to do and first reported in September. Needless to say I won't go back to these guys unless I absolutely have to which may happen since they are the only authorized dealer for my RV in Washington state. read more

If you are looking to buy a motorhome, I suggest passing up Kent Poulsbo RV. My experience there has shown me that who I worked with does not show integrity, is not trustworthy, and does not show ethical business practices. My experience in the last couple of weeks was horrible. There was a lack of business practices due to selling a motorhome from underneath me. While supposedly, we were work on the sale. They sold it to someone else even with a financial deposit down, and I signed a purchase order. They sold it before they had the dignity or respect to tell me that they decided to sell it to someone else and kept my financial deposit during this time. They played games stringing me along with keeping the deposit until the other sale was final. I'm highly disappointed in this business and would not recommend them. read more

I went into the store inquiring about consigning my RV. Waited about 10 min and was greeted by Paul. We visited, he wrote my info down, asked questions, got me a 'suggested' dollar figure that I'd receive if the rig was sold. Thereafter we have had emails. In my life I've never seen such incompetence. The same damn questions asked over and over again (obviously doesn't read his emails and/or ever make any notes in a file), and being told 4 times that my phone number did not work. He scheduled a time to preview my coach this morning at 10A but sent an email at 9:30 that he would not be coming until the end of October .. again, my phone did not work was his complaint.!! Meanwhile I took off this morning to meet him. My phone number works just fine. He is a buffoon. If he is a reflection of the the stores staff, they cannot be doing much business. read more

Do your research. They were advertising biggest sale of the year. Was looking at a 2006 model. Brand new 11 years ago was 13k. They had it list for......11999. Crazy. Also check the nada value in these trailers. Spoke to the sales guy. Wouldnt provide me with a best price. Said make a offer. Offered nada value retail and said good luck with your search. When your buying a used rv or travel trailer dealerships rip these at small fraction of what there listing them as. Just do you research before you dot down on one because they depreciate faster than a paper rice candy. read more
