LOVED the goat cheese and fig toast. Really delicious. I also got the maple pancake latte which was super good as well. Enjoyed both and for them to go.

I needed a quick bite to eat before my boxing class and since this was close enough to the gym, I figured I'd go ahead and check them out. I got there right at 10 and as I expected, it was pretty busy but with a minimal wait. When it was my turn to order, I went with the biscuit sandwich and added sausage (you can choose between that or bacon). I think I waited a risk of 5 minutes and I was on my way. When I opened the box, I was surprised to see there was egg on my sand which since it wasn't listed on the menu. The first few bites were ok but as I continued eating, something tasted off. I looked to see if maybe there was something else on the sandwich that I didn't notice before, when I saw that the egg and possibly the sausage had some weird spice that I didn't care for. After I recognized it, I just finished the biscuit and took everything else off. While the biscuit wasn't my jam, there's other things on the menu I'm wanting to try, so I imagine I'll be back soon.

I first heard about this place shortly after they opened, but hadn't yet made it out here. Then they posted their holiday drink list, which included a Gingerbread Latte, so that was my cue to stop by. Inviting coffeeshop, looks like what you'd expect a neighborhood coffeeshop to look like, with seating both inside and out. The gingerbread latte, of course, was great. Parking in this area can be an adventure, so keep that in mind when you stop by. I just got the one drink, but they did also have some food options, sweet as well as savory if you want something to eat with your coffee.

Cute little neighborhood coffee spot. Parking can be hard to come by right next to the building, but there are spots within a block. Delectable treats - I did not anticipate how much I really did need an Apple fritter in my life until there was one staring back at me from within the lonely display case. I took one home with me, managed to pry a section off to eat in the car, and was instantly rewarded for my purchase. (My gooey butter cake latte was no slouch, either.) Very friendly and encouraging baristas. I'll definitely swing by again when I'm in the neighborhood!

Superb location on a little neighborhood corner with an astounding patio. A pastry case full of the essentials: donuts and fritters. The workers were great. It was not busy on a Saturday morning and they were happy to chat it up with me while I waited. Super nice folks. The latte was great. I have a select few spots I frequent a lot and this latte is good enough to be added to my list. It is smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood so i suspect a lot of families and couples will be in here for sunday morning treats, definitely a good spot I'm excited to explore more!

We had such an amazing visit to Kentzo, today! As soon as we walked in (with our pup), we were welcomed so warmly! One of the owners immediately came around and said hello and then took our order. The barista that made our lattes made the cutest design with the milk foam, it was so cool! My son had a donut and it was huge! Our dog got a huge pup cup as well! They also have a spacious patio for nice weather days. We can't wait to be back!

Kenzo is tucked away on a side street just two blocks from Maplewood Shuck's. The space is surprisingly spacious, with two cozy rooms and a large patio. Staff was friendly and helpful. I had the breakfast bowl with veggies. It was delicious and had a nice kick of spice. The coffee was excellent, too. It's a great spot to get some work done or relax.

Kentzo just opened in July 2025 and this was my first time visiting. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They have a small breakfast menu as well as a variety of pastries. I got a cappuccino and avocado toast with bacon and both were perfect! I appreciate the large amount of avocado on my toast and the prices are very reasonable. The avocado toast does have chili flakes and chili oil so if you were not into a little bit of spice, I would get it without it. The building is very nice and they have a large, dog, friendly patio. And it's right next to a park.

Stopped by on a Saturday morning, there was a solo musician singing on the patio. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Inside, the smell of coffee filled the air & the large display of pastries was glowing. I opted for an americano and a turkey basil pesto sandwich. The coffee is roasty toasty and low acidity. Sando was served on quality bread which I appreciate & the pesto flavor was fantastic. Lots of happy people working. 10/10

My latte. (Did you know that has espresso in it. )

Let me start by saying that I loved my brother. Loved to hang out with him, listen to him... we were the best of friends. However, I would never have been able to work with him. Kentzo Koffee makes it work. Two brothers, both with seemingly great dispositions brew coffee and make food that rivals any other coffee (or rather Koffee) shop. The atmosphere is modern with clean lines. And yet not totally industrial, VERY welcoming. The staff is friendly and understanding. When I (coffee novice) was trying to figure out what drink to get after my dirty chai and was at the counter and was told that espresso goes in a latte. We all laughed. I didn't know and they were kind enough to tell me. But NOT in a mean way. (NOW they may have laughed at me when I left but I really don't care. To my face they were sweet.) I used to come here at a lot when it was Spiral Stone Coffee. That had a fun hippie vibe with lots of local art on the walls for sale. Now there are beautiful photos of Alaska taken on a bucket list trip before the brothers opened this place. One side for dining has a cute coffee shop feel. The other side has a darker, carpeted, comfy vibe. On a cold day I could easily see me sitting on the sofa watching snow fall drinking a latte (that has espresso.... hahaha) or my norm...a warm dirty Chai. Speaking of... the dirty Chai was perfect! One of the best I've ever had. Plus, I am not a fan of drinks that are super hot and I mentioned that and my drink came out looking pretty and had the right temp. My cousin had the avocado toast and said it was amazing. I forget to get a picture. I got an egg biscuit with sausage and cheese. It was super good. The biscuit was a little crumbly but a good breakfast sandwich nonetheless. There is an outdoor area with picnic tables and umbrellas. While it's not snowing there is also a heat warming until Tuesday so we sat inside enjoying a AC. Everybody working here was happy, friendly and understanding. It looks like they all live their job. When a place is like that you want to go back again soon. And I will. I just wish I had asked about the meaning of the name. I totally forgot when I was speaking to one of the brothers. Oh well next time. Again, there WILL be a next time.

I was excited to see another coffee shop open up in the old Stone Spiral. I ordered the iced caramel latte and a snickerdoodle cookie. The caramel tasted like it was made that morning, with a sight tawniness to it which I just loved! The snickerdoodle cookie was simply delecious! The perfect amount of crunchy, soft and tasty. What a treat! They have breakfast and lunch options and roast their own beans. Looking forward to trying other menu items! Also, milk options for all diets. Nice patio and sleek interior. Go check them out! So happy to have another neighborhood coffee joint.

Kentzo Koffee is a welcome addition to the neighborhood surrounding Ryan Hummert Park. They are open at 7am which is great with indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee is good quality I had a honey latte. I hope they do some seasonal flavors throughout the year. My daughter had a yogurt parfait which was a good size portion and my other daughter had a freshly baked cinnamon roll. I'm hoping they open on weekends at some point. I felt that's when the previous coffee shops in that spot have really been busy while kids are playing at the park.

The only real warmth we encountered came from the female host; the rest of the staff delivered service that hovered somewhere between disinterested and "we're doing you a favor by being here." We kicked things off with the fried deviled eggs, which arrived neither fried nor particularly deviled -- just cold little reminders that hope is fleeting. Cocktails landed squarely in "General Public" territory. My Squatty Potty showed up lukewarm, like it had been loitering at the bar contemplating its life choices instead of making it to the table piping hot. A chicken Caesar salad was perfectly fine... if you enjoy playing hide-and-seek with the chicken. The breakfast burger came on an English muffin with what might be the most emotionally unavailable portion of hash brown casserole I've ever seen -- tiny, distant, and gone too soon. Then there's the Scream Burger. Marketed as ghost-pepper spicy, priced like it's the main event, and delivered with all the heat of a polite Midwestern handshake. Dry, bland, and somehow bold enough to charge me an extra dollar for more mayo -- because nothing says "premium burger experience" like a condiment upcharge to make it edible. My husband's Pork Pountine? Imagine fries sprinkled with a few bacon bits like confetti at a party nobody wanted to attend. We came in excited because Eat Crow in Soulard sets the bar high. Unfortunately, Crows Nest feels like it's cooking for someone driving in from Chesterfield who asked the kitchen to "tone it down." If you're craving the real deal, do yourself a favor: go to Soulard. This nest still needs a lot more feathers. And to the influencers calling this place "amazing" -- do better. Honest, authentic reviews help restaurants grow and help diners know what they're walking into. Stop selling hype and start telling the truth.
