Kerman Gas and Diesel is the worst place to take your vehicle. Took my weekend vehicle to get diagnosed with a starting problem that I thought was the flywheel but ended up being the starter so Brent replaced it. I had the vehicle sit for a week just to notice under the vehicle that bolts were missing and the flywheel cover was touching the ground along with a bar. My brother and I took the vehicle back to Brent the next day after calling him the day before. As I arrived, I gave Brent a heads up that the gas line was leaking to be careful because stuff like that can catch fire but he misunderstood and right off the back, Brent started getting defensive and disrespectful saying "I already know how this game goes." My brother was talking to him and questioning him about the cover falling off saying that it should be bolted down because the day before Brent told us to get a hammer and push it back in then I heard Brent say "Oh now you're a mechanic?" "All of a sudden everyone wants to be a mechanic, maybe you should work on your own car." I don't care if you made a mistake everyone makes a mistake but to start acting like a drama queen and saying stupid remarks. Just fix your mistake and move on. Just know if you take your vehicle here and there's a problem that needs to be resolved expect this kind of outcome. I would of started off by giving this business 0 stars for complete and utterly unprofessional behavior and the undesirable will too help me , putting me in a difficult financial state due to his inability and lack too communicate (would take days too respond too a concern or question i had, I first confronted Brent (supposed) owner of Kerman gas and diesel repair with my vehicle for an engine overhaul May 1 and was told it would take a month possibly longer for $4,500 for the overhaul/labor and 300 added for a cam he said he was going too order and put in(no receipt), aswell as a high stall torque converter I had purchased that he himself said would be okay too run on my application unfortunately it's shifting really hard and rough on trans and tells me he has significant amount of work to do than he'll continue on mine next week even though I've paid him in full (witch I'd like a partial refund for too correct reinstall of torque converter), vary little updates too as what was going on with motor etc, blame's it on machine shop after the initial month and now 2-3 weeks in, I was lenient due too being told it could take alittle longer.. ends up in total 3 months my trucks been there, once I go too pick up I end up finding a missing bolt for oil pan(how many other bolts are missing that I don't know about) , oil covering my entire lower front end, half full radiator nail in tire and this is just what I've found and seen only 1 day of having her , starter not bolted down correctly / or broken causing it too have a no start and just click, truck completely covered in dirt/dust, i provided wheel well rubber guards from gm too install and says hell look for them although he's pushing me too be without a vehicle (not that he cares due too the cost not coming out of his pocket), for a whole extra week on top of me having too fund for a ride too work for myself the past 3 months now I have no transportation because of him, I will not take any work back too him due too the lack of trust he's arranged on his work, or recommend this business too anyone due too his unprofessional and ridiculous way of running a business. Leniency goes a long way, and some people just take it for granted, he's one of them and will take your money with joy. Completely unacceptable and embarrassing way in dealing with customers and business. read more
