What can be said about Kerry Park's view that hasn't been said before? There are many skyline views of Seattle - West Seattle, Lake Union, Magonlia, etc. but there is only one Kerry Park view. Just a pro tip if you're not familiar with the area, Kerry Park is on hill. I mention this because you might be tempted to ride your bike or walk there from say Belltown because the google maps tells you it's only a mile or so away. It's going to be uphill! Do yourself a favor and take the bus or drive there if you can find parking. Also, if you go around sunset on a nice day, it will likely be elbow to elbow with tripods and believe it or not, there are only a few spots where you can get the perfect alignment of the space needle, but that's only the case if you care about photography and composition - You're taking a picture that has been taken a million times before so you may as well make your version be the best. PS. Fraiser's window was a lie. There is no such view there unless they build a condo right next to the needle and even then the field of view would be different than what he had. read more

Kerry park isn't really a park. It is actually more of a viewpoint located in a residential area. But it arguably has the best review of the city, so do pay a visit here. One of the buses has a stop here I think. So that's how I got here. The view is pretty amazing. Seattle is deff a beautiful city! I took lots of pix here with my travel companion. We didn't see many ppl at all when we visited, so I deff enjoyed the peace and quiet. The neighborhood is beautiful with lots of trees. I felt great just walking through this area. I saw some nice houses and gardens. You should stop by! read more

This is a great place to bring visitors for a great view of downtown, or to bring yourself for a fantastic photo op! You can see the space needle very clearly along with the ocean, and on a warm blue sky day this park can't be beat. It can be quite busy as it's a popular place to go, but if you go on an off time or are patient your turn at the rail will come quickly. I think the worst part about this park is parking if you drive, it's at a hilly spot and it can be hard to find a spot to parallel park and the road are quite narrow. Google maps may also take you to the wrong area of the park for the photo op- if you don't see a flat green area with a railing and a crowd you're likely at the wrong spot of the park and need to try a block higher. read more

Breathtaking view of Seattle from Kerry Park! This park is literally a small patch of grass with a couple of benches overlooking the beautiful city. Great view from this spot and peaceful too! Definitely recommend dropping by when in the area! PARKING Steep hill going up and down the area and the residential streets can get very narrow if you drive a big car. Parking is not an issue at all - there are plenty of street parking, but I did find it a little strange when cars are parked at all directions. It can get packed with tourists and photographers, but you're more than likely to find a ledge and enjoy the view any time of the day. read more

walk till you drop! ...literally What-Environment-Niceness-Dollar-Yes This is a park, that's free.... I got a lot of scenery and miles! This is a stretch of about 5miles! I only did probably near to 2 miles... There is a lot to see according to the map. The paths are nice and wide. People are nice. A lot of people running on the paths. I like that they have separate paths for the peds and the bikes! They also have a path for the roller skates! It can get crowded and up and down traffic isn't wide enough. Totally free park, there are excursions that you can do, there is a horse ride you can go on and that takes you around the different spots. There are restrooms throughout the park. You can also decide to rent a bike at certain spots. A chill location I would definitely like to explore more. A great walk around location and looking at scenery. Nice! read more

Alright, alright, alright. As a local, I tend to snub the beauty that is Kerry Park because it's always crowded with tourist but let's be real - even I am a tourist in my own city sometimes so I can't knock it. The view IS pretty epic - the Seattle skyline along with the glory that is the Space Needle, sorta unmatched. So that's why I am giving this place a 5-star because if you give it anything less, WHY THOUGH? I am just sayin' Okay, now along with what I suggest for the locals since you all take your out-of-town guests here by request along with the Pike Place and Gum Wall. The next time you're at Kerry Park, take your pictures and then go for a quick stroll down Highland Drive. At the end of the road, you'll come across Parsons Garden and the viewpoint across the street. Sure, the view isn't a "Kerry Park View" but it's less-crowded and you get a different view of Puget Sound. It's also a great way to kill time waiting for the crowd to thin out at Kerry Park. This used to be my getaway from home when I needed to get away! Haha, now, it's too darn popular. When did people wake and discover this place? Go back to sleep so that I can have this place all to myself! hehe, let me say, so many people come here. Tourists, wedding parties, prom parties, etc. You name it. Photo shoots are done here, movie filming, you name it! This is the purrrfect view of the lovely Seattle skyline--overseeing Elliot Bay, Key Area, our new great Ferris Wheel, downtown Seattle, etc. I love how breathtaking this view is--all the time. Great for trying to watch the moon and the stars. The telescope things are .50 cents and last a minute or two. You can creep at people on the Space Needle-teeheehee. The park right below the view point ( you can take the stairs right of the view point straight down) is small, but cute. Nice little toy gadgets to release the inner child in you. Beware of parking--very popular, especially weekends at night. But it's a great walk even if u park far because you get to experience the nice expensive homes w/ a great view of the city. Want Frasier's View of Seattle? Visit This Park! Amazing picture perfect view of Seattle from this small park in Queen Anne Hill. Visited as the sun was setting to get a panoramic view of downtown Seattle and the Space Needle, Elliott Bay, Bainbridge Island and even a glimpse of Mount Rainer. The park was donated by Mr. and Mrs. Kerry "so that all who stop here may enjoy this view." This is the view that was featured from Frasier's apartment balcony. It has also been featured in "Life or Something Like It," "10 Things I Hate About You," and "The Amazing Race." No fees to visit and if you are lucky, like we were, you will find a sweet street parking spot just across from the Changing Form sculpture. read more

Came here with my sister the other night to people watch and eat ice cream in our car  We are new to the city and wanted to catch the views. It was a little too chilly to stand out for long, but we did get to go and glimpse beautiful sweeping views with a huge meadow/hill that leads down to a park with a playground for little ones! This is a great little park in an awesome location right in the heart of Queen Anne! We saw lots of different people, from prom/homecoming photoshoots to yogi photoshoots to happy little families playing to groups of friends taking a photo, etc. It was lovely and gorgeous to see the entire cityscape over the water as the sun was setting. We were also able to conveniently find parking right away when we arrived! It's such a sweet spot to go reflect, go on a walk, date, or meet up with someone for a little reunion! Glad we checked out this little gem and we will definitely be back when the weather is slightly warmer to stay longer! read more

I visited this park during my business trip and I couldn't have visited it at a better time. In July you're pretty much-guaranteed sun shine so I recommend you to hit this place up for an iconic photo with the Seattle space needle! I visited this place during the day but I would love to come back at night time! There isn't an actual hiking trail, it's just a very small park surrounded by residential areas. This is an absolute beautiful skyscape and you can just sit along the bridge to watch the view. There is no parking here so I recommend you to take a Uber/Lyft because the walk to this place is all up hill thru residential areas. I think walking is doable though. read more

Beautiful spot that seems very unsuspecting in a local neighborhood in Seattle. You can get an awesome skyline view of Seattle that really shines in the daytime or nighttime. It's not really a "park" per se, but more so a plot of land that perched high enough that it offers an excellent viewpoint of the surrounding area. Parking can get pretty tight here as there is traffic coming from both sides and there are definitely a lot of tourists and locals that love to come by and just relax and take pictures. When I visited on a cold Friday evening, there were some local students taking their prom group pictures which shows that this area doesn't get old at all. Whether walking by, to taking photos, or just sitting there perched on the "wall" to enjoy the serene beauty of the Seattle skyline, it's definitely a nice place to bring out of town visitors or just have a nice heart to heart with friends and family. read more

Wonderful view of the Seattle skyline from Queen Anne, and if you're lucky Mount Rainier will be out! I stopped by to watch the sunset and it was easy to get photos without other people in them if you go over to the edge of the railing and walk in front of it. There is a steep hill, but many people brought blankets and sat on the slope since the places on the benches and railing were taken at least an hour before sunset. Tiny spot ("park" is very much an exaggeration) but the view is worth the trek! And supposedly it is close to another Seattle landmark - the exterior of Meredith Grey's house from Grey's Anatomy. read more
