I had a hit and run and well to make a long story short, the hit and run was in a company van in which I was able to call the owner of company. A total hole-in-the-wall auto body shop in a long row of auto body shops that I would never enter if it was not highly recommended by some who works in the car insurance biz. AMAZING WORK! Not fun to drive to from the Westside but well worth it. I've been a few times for my Mercedes that I have since sold and every time the work was exceptional and the prices were fair. Just the schlep was inconvenient (for me). My car was badly side-swiped (while parked for less than 5 minutes I might add) and you could not even tell once they were finished. They also put on a new convertible soft top for much less than others were pricing them for. I recommend them to everyone so why did I not think of posting this on yelp until now.... ? read more

I came here under odd circumstances... My girlfriend's car was hit by someone who wanted to get the repairs done outside of insurance... "I want you to go to this guy, he is a friend of mine..." Oh crap. It was this place. It is definitely a hole in the wall, but I have to say that all turned out well. My girlfriend's car (a 2007 BMW Z4) turned out great. I was even able to have two sections on the car repaired for some extra out of pocket money and now the car looks much better than before the accident. I have been a customer at Mr. Malka's for over 20 years. WHY do I keep coming back? Because this is the ONLY mechanic and body shop I know that is brutally and meticulously honest. Their work is outstanding. Two years ago someone drove into my brand new car smashing the front end in a parking lot. My car was exactly eight days old. Mr. Malka fixed it perfectly- the other driver came in to pay the bill and was astonished: 1- The price was very fair... compared to the outrageous quotes at the dealership 2- The car was repaired beautifully. 3- The car was fixed in a timely fashion... 2 days. My car was rear ended and I took it to Kester and Queen for repairs through insurance. I was called a few weeks later and told the car was ready. When I showed up to get my car, it was in pieces with the rear passengers door dismantled, my car battery had been removed, the trunk was missing trim, and there was white spray all over the car. It is a black car. This happened 2 more times where I showed up a week or so later to get my car and it was not completed. It still isn't completed and the trunk does not open and close easily at all. The paint is peeling on the bumper, Hiam said it was a new bumper but you can see the old paint under the peeling paint. There also are a few trim pieces that were not replaced. I took it to another autobody shop and they found more problems with it like an energy absorber was not replaced under the bumper. This guy also tried to get both parties insurances to pay. A small claims court case was filed and the court ruled in my favor. Haim still refuses to make this right! read more

Haim is the man!! Usually, dealing with an auto body repair shop is a huge headache, but Haim made this experience quick and painless for me. I came here after a parking garage gate became unhinged and smashed into my car. How ridiculous, I know. Lol. First off, he kept to his word. He said the repair would take 3 days and that he would call me with updates, and he actually did. I was not left in the dark wondering when I would get my car back. Second, the quality of the repair was superb! He was able to get the dents and deep scratches out without having to order aftermarket crappy new parts. My car was pretty thrashed, but he made it look brand new! He even washed it for me and buffed out some other scratches for no extra charge! He was honest and fair about his pricing, and didn't make up any excuses to charge me more. He kept to the original estimate provided to me before he began work. I had gotten estimates from three other body shops and decided to stop at one more we passed on the way home. The damage was relatively minor but we wanted it repaired as we are planning to sell the vehicle.The estimate we received from Kester and Queen Collision Center was quite a bit lower then the others. I looked at their online reviews and the majority were very positive so I decided to go with them. The owner Haim, was very helpful and actually the cost was slightly less then he had quoted and they actually did a little more then expected. The car looks great We were totally satisfied with the work that was done. The repair was completed in a timely manner. There are a large number of body shops in the area - some more impressive looking - but the quality of the work was outstanding at Kester and Queen.
