A technician came to look at the furnace that wasn't working he cleaned a few parts and then it worked. However, he left a hose unattached that left a large puddle of water in the basement. My dad reattached the hose himself. The company agreed to take $50 off of his bill. He was satisfied with this action. A year later they came back to replace a part on the furnace. He was charged $82 for a part plus the service call. He found out later that the part's actual cost on amazon was $28. I guess they figured out how to recoup the $50 credit from their initial screw up.

However, scheduling seemed to be fair easier with them than any other, and Shawn (the electrician that was dispatched) was a pleasure to work with, even trying to help troubleshoot a related situation (not specific to his work). Where can they improve? That's easy... 1. Clearly, you price based on the service as you should. Some tasks though should not warrant such a premium. Consider coming down about 20%. 2. The sales process - basically everything before getting an expert out - is not optimal if you're someone who knows what needs to get done and just needs "the smart one" to show up and do an assessment. There wasn't pressure; just needless extra steps. 3. I will have to make some adjustments due to observations after Shawn left; it's not his fault specifically, the home had some wonky wiring and the install had some very picky requirements where the use case is going to warrant some changes. Due to the high premium, I can't justify having him back out like I normally would. Ultimately, for electrical, do I recommend? Yes. I just think they have opportunities to improve.

Outstanding work!! I contacted Albiero Plumbing on New Years Day (Friday), after rupturing a water…read moreline while trying to "fix" a dripping faucet in my main floor tub/shower. I twisted the mixer valve trying to remove the retaining ring (seized from hard water deposits), which caused water to spray behind the wall and down to my finished basement. I had to shut the water off to the entire house because there are no individual shut off valves to the tub/shower. Because I need water and couldn't wait til the following Monday, I had to bite the bullet and call a plumber at "Holiday Rates". The Albiero Receptionist was very nice. She had the on-call plumber contact me where I explained my dilemma. Armando was great!! Because I have an older home, that particular mixer valve was not readily available or easy to replace/adapt to the existing shower. Armando went to the basement and added shut off valves to the hot/cold lines. This way I was able to turn the water back on and just shut off the lines to the tub/shower til I could get it fixed. Armando added the shut off valves in less than an hour, which wasn't an easy task. He had to become a contortionist working in a finished basement with limited access space. This saved me a lot of money, which Armando was just as concerned about as I was. I don't care what anyone says...but when a company busts their butts to save their customers money, on a holiday, this says a lot. I have used Albiero before in the past and will continue to use them in the future because they care about their customers and do excellent work. It was sure nice to not have to deal with an answering service. I felt bad for interrupting his family Thanksgiving dinner, but he was so great trying to talk me thru what to look for to trouble shoot. 48 hours later, his tech showed up and within 30 minutes had the problem fixed. The All American crew is top notch. I would buy anything shiny from him just because I trust him that much. I'm sure glad that I stopped to talk to him at the county fair a few years ago.

Explained what they would be doing, so there would be no surprises. 2hr and 30 minutes later I had to a new furnace. They removed the old parts and left the work area cleaner than it was when they arrived. New thermostat was installed, that was easier to program. The young men were kind and treated me with respect.
