I had an extra one that came with the fireplace - he switched it out and it worked good as new. Got a bill for $146.78. He was very clean and left within 15 minutes.

A technician came to look at the furnace that wasn't working he cleaned a few parts and then it worked. However, he left a hose unattached that left a large puddle of water in the basement. My dad reattached the hose himself. The company agreed to take $50 off of his bill. He was satisfied with this action. A year later they came back to replace a part on the furnace. He was charged $82 for a part plus the service call. He found out later that the part's actual cost on amazon was $28. I guess they figured out how to recoup the $50 credit from their initial screw up.

Unfortunately, without any notification to existing customers, the company was sold to ABC Heating. I had a maintenance appointment scheduled months ago for today between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. No one called or texted to let me know the technician was running late. When I called, I was met with an AI phone system. After repeatedly asking to speak with a real person, I finally reached someone, but she couldn't provide any information because dispatch wasn't responding to her either. As I write this, I'm still waiting for my technician to arrive. The excellent customer service was the main reason I chose this company and purchased a service contract. This experience has been extremely disappointing. At a minimum, current contract customers should have been notified that the company had been sold and reassured that service would continue without disruption. Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend this company.

I thought there was no way I would get anyone out on a holiday and freezing cold day. He made it out late In the afternoon and called me and told me me that he was not going to charge me because he thought maybe they could have caught the issue at our yearly check. He was so incredibly professional, and above and beyond helpful and kind.
