And a relatively large Vienna Beef Kraut Dog was perfectly cooked and encased inside a soft Poppyseed Bun filled with hot Sauerkraut and some Yellow Mustard. I added some more Yellow Mustard inside the roll. Coupled with all housemade long Skin-on Skinny French Fries, Coleslaw, and most memorable Potato Salad, all was well. Not the kind of cherry Coke you would get in the store, a Coke with real cherry syrup like you used to be able to get. It was very good. The burger was juicy, the blue cheese had a nice "funk" to it, and the mushrooms played off of it very well. The veggies were also very fresh. The fries were your standard diner, fries, nothing fancy, but also very good. The prices were reasonable for what we got. The bartenders are very friendly and the owner was really cool. On my second visit he asked me if it was okay if he gave Frankie some hot dog pieces. I told him that it would be fine. Frankie loved the hot dog pieces. When I brought Frankie in on our second visit I was a little hungry so I ordered a hot dog and fries. The hot dog was good as were the fries.
