Turkey Avocado BLT. On a croissant. With side of Onion rings.

Kingman was a good stopping point on our road trip across Arizona from New Mexico to Las Vegas. Mr Dzs is famous. Extensive diner menu. We stopped in mid afternoon - 2ish - and there was no wait for a table. Service was quick to seat us, take our order and get our food. But we waited forever for our check. Food was ok. There was a ton of turkey in my BLT.

Great little diner that we usually stop for lunch at when heading to Vegas. Food has always come out quickly and is tasty. This last trip we split a burger plate and a chef salad, both were delicious. It was busy so we sat at the counter. Very nostalgic and gets you up close to the staff which I noticed they all seemed happy to be there. If you are looking for a roadside diner this is the place!

A trendy 50/60s diner located on Route 66 !!!! Seems a little run down and lucky for us not crowded on a Saturday. Server was super bubbly and nice . We ordered the smashed avocado toast Benedict & the Mexican omelette both were pretty good , the avocado toast could have been toasted a little more and the potatoes were way undercooked . The prices are very reasonable especially for a touristy area .

The outside and the interior is a 60's diner with similar vibes from the jute box to Elvis and Marilyn pictures to the entrance to the small bathrooms. There is a Mr.D's gift shop next door and a Route 66 Kingman sign to take tourist pictures across the street. As for the food , breakfast stops at 11Am. The waiter tells us that the best tasting are the hamburgers, Cobb salad. We ordered a steak , macaroni hotdog and cob salad. I don't recommend any of it. The hotdog is a store hotdog and macaroni is blend. We ordered a medium rare steak but got well done. But the. We should have known better at a diner. Cobb salad was just ok. We also got root beer float which was good and bottomless root bear once you finish the ice cream. Overall it's just a layover place for a hamburger and nothing special. The service was great with out waiter filling the root beer cup several times.

Our first time in Kingman Az We decided to stop here to have breakfast it was extremely packed could barely walk through to the back area to be seated Customer Service was okay Order our food and drinks had to wait a bit. Restaurant is very crowded with decor and a bit dirty. Bathroom was really gross and only one per men and woman Food was okay I definitely wouldn't come here again It looks like the trendy place to stop it's a very 50/60th theme place

Loved the diner nostalgic decor , Though it's busy we were seated right away . It's like they were so in a hurry to get our order , we didn't get the chance to see the full menu , so we just order the basic cheeseburger It was pretty good and reasonably priced Server is so nice

On our way to the Grand Canyon, my family and I decided to eat at Mr. Dz. 9am, and the tour buses outside had the place quite busy. The shape of the building and the decor surrounding the building brought a nice old town vibe to it, and I see why it's a popular tourist spot. We were seated in the back, where all of the service members were kind and responsive. My lack of stars is primarily the food. My brother and I found the Route 66 special to be heavy on the carbs, and low on the proteins, with no aspect of the meal being beyond average. Overall a fine establishment, but I would be interested in choosing a different one on my next drive out to the area.

Fun place to stop on a road trip. Not far off the highway, and worth the stop. The decor is over-the-top fun. The car museum next door is moderately interesting. The food is good diner food. Worth a stop.

We love this place!! Great food! Great staff. They are so welcoming and friendly. The burgers here are super!! I have also had the chili a few times and it's fantastic! Also, I've never gone wrong with the soup of the day either. Great malts and shakes too. We love the cute Route 66 decor and clean restrooms at Mr D'z. It makes road trips from Vegas to Sedona all that much better.

An accidental find on our way to Las Vegas. We loved it. No matter what, get the homemade root beer! The service was great ... definitely a RT 66 vibe -

Fun stop to make! Kingman was halfway to our destination and we planned to stop here for lunch since we had an activity planned right when we got to our destination city. It was cute! We got there around noon on a Thursday and were greeted right when we walked in the door and we sat right away. We chose the diner bar, but there were tables in front and back, it was just quicker at the bar. Our service was very friendly, and it felt pretty quick. Since we were at a 50s-style diner I knew I had to get a milkshake. They have a pretty extensive list of flavors! I am basic and went with the classic strawberry milkshake. For my food, I got the club sandwich. I thought everything was great! My shake was super tasty, and the extra comes in the silver canister they blend it in, which of course is great because bang for your buck. The sandwich definitely filled me up and the bacon on it was nice and crispy, perfection! And the friiiiieeesss! Bomb! I loved every bit of our experience here and I'm glad we fit it in. I'm sure on the weekends it gets a bit busier here being a midway point between a lot of places. The parking lot isn't big, so I'm sure that could be a bit of a concern on those busy days. I definitely would come again if I'm passing through. Our service was lovely and our food was great!

Mr. D'z Route 66 Diner is such a feel-good stop! The atmosphere is classic diner perfection with just the right amount of jukebox vibes--fun, nostalgic, and welcoming. We stopped in for an early dinner around 4:00 pm and had an excellent experience from start to finish. We were seated and able to order within about 15 minutes, and our food came out fresh and hot within the next 10--super impressive service. Everything we ordered was delicious. My daughter had the croissant sandwich, my son and I both enjoyed cheeseburgers, and my husband ordered a breakfast skillet. Every plate was a hit. We thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere, and it was the perfect stop for our family road trip. Highly recommend if you're traveling Route 66 or just looking for a great diner experience!

This was the bell they use when order was up. Pretty cool

It's always a cheap eat because their prices are inexpensive for their food quality, which makes me (and most likely everyone else) glad. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of fries, and it was delicious. Funny enough, I meant to order the crispy chicken sandwich but I forgot and ordered this one, yet it was just as amazing. The tender, juicy chicken paired well with the perfect hamburger buns and the crispy fries. Definitely tasty, I might order this over the crispy chicken sandwich. I entered and was sat down very quickly and was asked my drink and food choice. The waitress was very polite and helpful, she seemed like she had a lot to do. Refills were fast, the vibe was great and I was grateful for everybody doing great in busy hours. Inside was a bunch of Route 66 stuff, handmade items and trinkets alike. I could tell they love Arizona. The seats were comfortable, the tables clean and certainly a great experience. I'm really glad they had some AC on, it was almost a "chilly" 100 degrees outside. Just spectacular. Overall, Calico's is the place for high-quality, scrumptious meals with great prices, nice people and wide selections of foods and memorabilia. I absolutely recommend this place for anyone with high standards, Calico's delivers on everything. What I also recommend is that you should come for the Sunday brunch buffet, it's quite the thing. Thank you!

Surprisingly for a Saturday around 230pm there was a single finer and a couple in the restaurant. In the past especially on a weekend this location was busy. We werent greeted upon entering g by the front desk fal..we wanted a few minutes to be acknowledged.althiugh no one else was in line for seating or for the cashier. The cashier or hostess who took us to our table looked miserable and it seemed like she was doing us a favor by grabbing menus and seating us. We were seated next to a couple and across from the only other diner in BB. It was sooo cold my husband had to grab his work jacket from our car..when I say it was cold..freezing..im not exaggeration. We waited a long time fir the server to take our order and we sat there fir 25 minutes for our food. We bith ordered the Grizz..our favorite breakfast. My eggs, country potatoes and bacon came out first. Husband got the grizz also; his French toast came out first. . his eggs, potatoes and bacon arrived approx 6 minutes later wuth my pancakes. My pancakes were dyed out and cold. Eggs were supposed to be over easy..there was a partial yoke from one egg..again overcooked. Country potatoes may have been left from day before..overcooked and burnt. Bacon was almost black and hard. I asked for my pancakes to be warmed up at the least as they were cold, overcooked and not light and fluffy as they have always been.( best pancakes around) in addition the couple next to us got fries instead of strawberries??? and one of the staff was overheard she wasnt making enough money. Summary: As much as we enjoy BB..won't be returning to this location anytime soon. I would suggest a cooking class for the cook and training fir staff. Maybe check out Bullhead , Havasu, Goodyear, Henderson or Vegas..never had a bad meal or experience at these lications For BB to have 3 diners on a Saturday afternoon shiuld be a warning...your prices have been on the increase but service and food ( at this lication) is going way down.

My Dad and I came in because I needed to reminisce (I met my late wife here 56 years ago). He had the fish and chips and I had the chicken taco plate. My chicken tacos were a kind of street taco with lots of good stuff (lettuce, tomato, cheese, onion, black olives, sour cream, and what I think is homemade salsa) to put on them. The beans were delicious. Not typical refried beans, but a really tasty pinto beans topped with melting cheese. Dad's "side salad" is ginormous! I guess there's lettuce under the tomato, black olive, red onion, and tomato, but I can't see it! His cod came out as two very large (hanging over both sides of the plate), and he was sure he wouldn't be able to finish one of them. He was wrong! I don't think there is such a thing as a cheap restaurant any more, but prices here are significantly lower than we expected. I'm so glad we came in. We'll definitely be back.

So that means it fish Fridays for me! Well after calling the store yesterday, their beloved Walleye arrived for the lent season. Needles to say, I planned my day around getting a Walleye dinner. In the past it has always been exceptional. Cooked perfectly and delicious. Well, that was not the case this time. I ordered the 3 piece Walleye dinner, so I make it a 2 day meal. First red Flagg, was the increase in price. It really jumped, but I wanted my Walleye. I wait all year long for this, and I bit the bullet and took it home for a feast. I live 20 miles out of town, so I put the pedal to the medal, so it would still be hot. Well, when I opened it up, There were 3 pieces of fish. One large on and 2 very small ones. I guess I should have gotten the 2 piece dinner instead. Being a senior citizen of a very fixed income, that will be the last time I would order the 3 piece dinner. I will stick with the 2 piece or just have the sandwich. The other issue was how it was cooked. It was very greasy, and the filets themselves were not really as thick as they use to be! My question is, did the tariffs have something to due with the huge price increase, and the smaller portions. I believe Culvers gets Walleye from Canada. We see on the internet all the time about fast food chains increasing prices and cutting portion size. I am not giving up on my beloved Walleye. The next time I order a Walleye dinner, I will open it up before I leave. I don't want to be shocked again!!! Please watch the grease, that was never there before. .
