A few days ago, I decided to come to Olympus Diner for lunch, and this turned out excellent. It's because of things like these that keep me coming here. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with French fries, and it was delicious. Not only did the juiciness of the burger meat pair perfectly with the crispy bacon, everything on it was doing something to make this burger an absolute treat of a meal. The fries weren't weak or overly salty, they were literally perfect. I am not kidding when I say the fries were the best fries I have ever had in my entire life. Crispy and salty to immaculate levels, it's almost mind blowing how tasty this meal was. It was only ~$12, which is a steal! I will absolutely come back, trying something new. Service was great, too. The waitress looked a little out of it, but she was nice and I got my soda and food quickly. She wasn't the usual waitress seen, but she seemed fine. Inside was just that classic diner feel but with a bunch of Greek things. On the side of the booths are some alcohol bottles with Greek pillars, on the outside there are Greek pillars... you get what I mean. I've always been a history guy, so I love places with historical meanings or representations. Overall, Olympus Diner is an amazing place to eat. Best new Breakfast spot in Kingman near the bottom of the Hualapai Mountains. The coffee is robust! The Spanakopita = Greek Spinach Pie is warm, fluffy, flaky and garlicky and flavorful, and comes with chopped Greek salad sprinkled with Feta Cheese. This is our first favorite. It's a great choice for Brunch. The Greek omelette and the Italian omelette are some of our other favored choices. We bring our big dog CHAMP who sits outside with us in the shade and everyone is welcoming and kind and generous to each of us. We stay up at the Hualapai Mountain Lodge when we are in town for business during the week. This is the first restaurant as we roll down the hill into town. We are so pleased to find such a comforting, refreshing, relaxing, refueling spot. read more

I was in charge of organizing a 50th anniversary of the ordination of our bishop. Leon, the owner and cook was outstanding to work with. His staff was polite, helpful and professional. Several guests commented to me of how delicious the fare was. The venue was just what we had hoped for and will easily accommodate parties from 10 to 80. And the price was very reasonable. The pizza came about five minutes later and the personal pizza was a tiny pizza, maybe around seven to eight inches, and the pizza was good, but not too great for its small size. Still had leftovers, though. Service was good. When someone comes into here, they have to look at the menu upfront and order at the counter, find a seat of their choice and fill their drink and then it goes from there. Pretty simple. Floyd's seems to be a Stubborn soda fan, which I approve of. The man at the counter actually recommended the breadsticks, and now I realize that the pizza isn't enough to fill me or most anybody. It's mostly an at-the-counter style service, except they bring the food to you. Inside was great. The entrance is a little tight, but there's two sides of the restaurant and I sat down in the right side from the door, so I can't say about the left side. One of my favorite things inside was the drink machine had those levers on it, it just felt much better to pull that for drinks than pushing a button. Overall, Floyd's is a great place to eat for everyone. The food is good, the service is great, and inside is comfy and wooden. One thing I would hope for Floyd's is to make their pizza bigger, their personal pizzas are much like those kid menu pizzas. I'll probably try a sandwich next time. Thank you.

On the outside it has a biker bar type vibe. Indoors they offer main dining, bar seating and an outdoor patio. It was a blistering hot summer day, so we opted for the main dining area. We were advised by what I assume was a friendly regular at the bar that we could seat ourselves and the waiter would be over shortly with menus. As we reviewed the menu, we placed our drink order for an IPA and a Tito's and pineapple. A few moments later our waiter came back and apologetically informed me that they were out of pineapple juice, so I just swapped it for cranberry. The drinks were strong and cheap, only $7! We placed an appetizer order for the onion rings and our main order of a Philly cheesesteak and the Southwest Chicken Sandwich. The onion rings arrived a little bit later and were piping hot. They had a nice, thick batter that appeared to be seasoned with pepper and the onions were thick rings, not the flimsy ones you get most places. They were a bit greasy, but that's to be expected. Otherwise, delicious! When our entrees arrived I was confused as my Southwest Chicken Sandwich appeared to be a chicken Philly. I pointed it out yo the waiter, but he insisted it was right. I knew it wasn't, but it looked really good so I just rolled with it. It turned out to be a happy mistake as it was so damn good! The chicken was seasoned well and perfectly complimented by the pepper jack cheese, onions, peppers, mushrooms and jalapeños. After the onion rings, I could only eat about a quarter of my entree, but it warmed up amazingly the next day for lunch. My fiance is always searching for amazing Philly cheesesteaks and this one was way up there on his list, which is saying a lot! He said it was packed with flavor and was incredibly filling. This is the definition of a hidden gem and a spot we will surely be back to try more of their extensive menu!
