Soam only sees customers by appointment so it's necessary to speak with him. When I came to the store, he showed me a variety of fabrics as well as cushion firmness options. After choosing, he gave me an estimate of how much and how long it would take. For those that have never had upholstery done, it's not cheap. I was a little surprised by the estimate but I wanted good quality work as opposed to cushions on Amazon or something like that. Long story short, my cushions came out great. Soam did/does excellent work and I would definitely get more upholstery work done by him.

They have a nailhead trim and seemed like a crazy involved project to repair. After years of procrastinating, we sent photos to Jim, who very quickly responded that he could likely repair them from below and not even have to touch the nailheads. He was so great to work with - quick/easy communication, incredibly professional job, reasonably priced (on budget and cheaper than four new stools!), and got the work done exactly on schedule (took five days). I spent the entire pandemic working while sitting in these chairs and could've saved a lot in physical therapy bills if I'd known about Jim's awesome shop sooner!
