We recovered a sofa and two arm chairs and were quite pleased. George is easy to work with. The fabric company that he shares space with had some extra fabric at a discount. So, if you have a small enough job, you might get a great deal on fabric too. I would recommend working with George. 5 Stars for sure.

Made my old chairs look new again!

I love this upholstery shop! George has done several pieces for me over the years. I brought these old chairs in and George made they look better than new again. Quality work, great pricing and reliable. George keeps his promises and the work is done when he says. Would highly recommend G. Suppes!

They did the entire seat, seat back, chair cushions and pillows. It really looks beautiful!

I had a kitchen nook that was just all pillows when we moved in. George designed it to be more practical, especially for my husband who is not a big pillow fan! He also made contrasting seat cushions for my chairs and I was so happy with it all, I had him re-upholstery a bench I have nearby.(see my pictures). George is very professional, honest and a pleasure to do business with. I will be using him again to redo my hope chest. I highly recommend him.

Mid century chair. Reupholstered, new cushion, and reconstructed legs. Under $800

George and his crew do amazing work! Not only did they reupholster my mid century modern tall back chair, but they also fixed the base so the legs were sturdier. The chair has more support and no longer creaks! George helped me choose an affordable fabric that resembled something for the period. My chair was an eyesore, but now it's a beautiful piece I will prominently display. Great craftsmanship, professional and fair price for labor and materials. This is the place to go! Thanks so much guys!

I wanted my sofa chaise cushion to be cut into two so that I can put the footrest part as an ottoman.... Adding more seating for when I hv company over. George was really good and he explained each n every process. He even went out of his way and waited for me on Saturdays since I couldn't visit on weekdays. The charge was very reasonable considering the fact that work was equal to two new cushions being made. Also he finished earlier than expected which was awesome. Would definitely recommend him and would go again if I need some more upholstery work done. George is really professional and explains really well. I have uploaded a few before n after pics to show how great a job he did.

George and Mike did amazing work reupholstering a couch and chair I inherited from my grandmother. Before I confiscated them, they'd lived at my father's house for several years and were ravaged by half-tamed cats. Several cushions were missing, everything reeked of cat pee, and one couch leg was broken. They were a total mess! George and Mike restored them to their original beauty with great attention to detail, creating round bolsters perfectly matching my description, developing delicate piping around the wooden frames, and strengthening the structural supports of the couch. They're simply beautiful now! In fact, I think they're in better shape now than they were when I used to nap on them 20 years ago as a teenager. These guys do great work.

Our sofa seat cushions became too soft. G Suppes did a great job replacing the soft cushioning with firm foam. Very happy with the results.

George is straight forward, to the point and gave me a reasonable price for re-stuffing some couch cushions.

Old school fabrics store for your quilting needs, operated by knowledgeable and friendly staff…read more The Granary Quilt Shop is certainly a rarity to see nowadays when online shopping has been the norm, but this mom and pop shop is still thriving in a well ventured shopping center sharing space with other small businesses serving the local community. The parking situation is great as the parking lot is rarely packed and has large spots for those with bigger vehicles. As you walk up to the storefront, you'll see through the clear glass windows a plethora of colors and patterns with some sample quilts hanging out for display. Step foot through the doors and you'll be sent into a world of fabrics infused with aisles of colors, textures, accessories, and resources to help level up your quilting skills. And within a few minutes, we were greeted by their staff to provide any guidance or assistance navigating their wares. We were only browsing on this occasion but for those in search of quilting accessories, this is a haven with a variety of fabrics for you to choose from in order to piece together the next masterpiece. We spent a good 15 minutes just perusing the store and all the knickknacks that were available. The samples hanging on the walls were inspiring! The prices seemed reasonable and with the raw materials being affordable and accessible for making such beautiful pieces of art is probably a good reason this hobby still exists. I think what stands out is the quality of the fabrics as the texture and feel of them definitely seem more durable and sustainable than what you'd get through an online store. Overall, The Granary Quilt Shop keeps the quilting community thriving with their shelves full of fabrics and quilting accessories. The team members here are seasoned vets in the hobby and are extremely friendly to support your quilt making needs. A specialty shop with a brick and mortar presence is a fading trend but this shop has clearly made its mark, has a good following among its local community members, and continues to bring in new customers with sales and family activities. For being around for nearly a decade, this shop is a beacon for the quilting community!

Nice people & a great selection of batiks. They also have a sewing room. Kits available for most…read moredisplayed quilts.
