Dr. Tomar is the one that caused me the most pain and bleeding. Not just this time, but a few times. This will be my last time visiting this dentist. She was extremely impatient and careless during the process, ignoring my pain, did everything in a rush. Previously, I thought the pain was because she was just trying to clean my teeth very thoroughly as I saw all the 5 star reviews here. But she scratched around my gums really carelessly and violently and this level of pain and bleeding is very abnormal. I should have trusted my body's feelings and move away from this dentist much earlier. I can sense that she doesn't want me as a patient here. It's the best for both sides that I leave. It was a really traumatic experience, the damage of the violent scratches to the enamel is irreversible. She also scratched the back of my tongue, which I have never experienced in any other dental clinic. I had very good teeth and so have been getting only dental cleaning here, which doesn't bring her profits. I feel sorry for Dr. Tomar that she had to do this to push out a patient. I saw other patients complaining about her dental cleaning process on Healthgrades too.

Fast forward into this century: due to my mom's dentist retirement and divorce robbing me of insurance and income, I had to go without regular checkups for 18 years. Several visits to various dentists in Snohomish County for semi-emergency repairs were all I could afford--and those visits were incredibly painful and unsatisfactory. Needless to say my teeth were not in good shape. And then, in the summer of 2019, because of a referral from a friend who swore by Dr. Zach, I called them when I suspected an abcessed tooth. They got me in right away, and also went the extra mile to comfort me when I needed it! In the past year or so, I no longer dread going to the dentist. They've taken care of several of my dental health issues in addition to cleanings, and I am not only impressed with their top level of care, but with their efforts to make it all as painless as can be.
