7 months trying to fix the MyKey problem failed. I took it to Noble who for $70 discovered that the fob provided had no transponder inside, a tiny rectangular block. DEFECTIVE HARWARE! My car does not recognize it as a key, so it treats me as having 1 key, so will not allow me to clear Mykey Settings. I will have to buy another fob and have ot programmed at cost of $210. I will have lost $200 + $70 + $210 = $480 to have 2 legit keys I called The LOcal Locksmith to inform him of this issue to see if he could get a legit fob and reprogram it, but he HUNG UP on me, as he did not like my 3 star review. He will love this 1 star update. read more

Great service from CJ to make a duplicate key fob and metal key. I provided the new unprogrammed key set and CJ cranked out the electronic key. We didn't realize my metal hey was incorrectly oversized and he diligently tried to make it work but was not possible due to the initial cut. I got replacement metal key from the supplier and CJ was able to cut it right the first time. No extra charge and he spent a lot of time to get the initial key to work. Great job CJ! And I sent him a picture of the lock and he was able to tell right away the difficulty of the lock but he tried his best to do the less expensive routes as much as he can until he had no choice but to drill. Hired CJ to rekey front entry and all went well. A couple weeks later the lock insert of the door handle was falling out. I asked him if he could stop by at his convenience and he said "just slap it in". Okay, we did that numerous times and it still slid out. I contacted him again and he said "squeeze 2 prongs at the back together", didn't even know how to do that. Fourth day I sent a photo of my husbands key stuck in the lock and he said "now it has to be replaced". So I called my usual Locksmith and paid to have the door handle replaced. Expensive lesson learned. read more

Cory changed the 4 locks on our front security gate and front door when moving into our new home. He said he tested them all and they were all working as they should. After he left, it was a warm day so we only had the gate/screen closed. That evening, we went to close the actual door and discovered that the two doors could not close at the same time. The hardware he installed bumped into one another, so only the gate/screen could be closed, or the door - but not both. We contacted him and he came out to adjust those so the doors would both close. Again said he tested them and they were working. I should have checked for myself, but was distracted with a work meeting and didn't think of it. That evening, we discovered each individual door's lock was misaligned. Both doors could close at once - however, you could either lock the doorknob, or the deadbolt, but not both. Since the move, it had been a nonstop parade of men in my house (movers, inspectors, repairers, etc) and honestly we just wanted a break from it, so we decided to just live with the locks like that. Then, about 6 weeks later, the front doorknob just completely fell off. I lived at my last apartment for 4 years, and the one before that for 6 years - never had a doorknob just straight up fall off before. We just went with a different locksmith to replace the locks and fix it this time. Now all 4 locks work at once. read more
