Well, I went there on 08/19 and by 11:15 it was half empty. First couple of hours was fun, but I think the problem is they dont play the recent pop songs. Ill give u guys an example, uptown funk, cheap thrills. A Rihanna would have been great too. This was my second visit, I am not a country boy or a classic 80s 90s listener so does that mean this place is not for me? I have had such a great experience in a piano bar in San Francisco. My friends surprised me with a birthday party here and it was fantastic! There are three guys playing two pianos in rotation and all of them are great - really talented on the keys and with amazing personalities to keep the show going! The way to get them to play the song you want is by making a request along with a wad of cash, so make sure to visit the ATM before going here. They also do a special bit with birthday boys/girls - bring you on stage to sit on one of the pianos and play you a birthday song usually with R-rated lyrics - and I loved it! Unlike other piano bars I've been to in the past which don't take reservations, these guys were able to book a party of 10 with no extra charge and even though 2 of our party didn't show up, they were really chill about it. The only part of the evening I was disappointed with was the food, I wish they had a better set up for it. As it is, you need to place an order with the masonry next door - which of course means you need to step out because who can hear anything over all that noise! The pizza itself is only okay. SO. MUCH. FUN!!! I've never been to a piano bar before.. So I wasn't really sure what to expect. Cover was $5 which was completely worth it! Drinks were strong and priced reasonably. The guys take requests with tips.. So bring cash if you'd like to make a few requests for specific songs. They played a wide variety of songs. I was amazed at how many songs they knew how to play. I was in charge of planning a Bachelorette party & a few days beforehand I was reminded there was a dueling piano bar in Queen Anne. What a GREAT time! I called ahead for reservations and we had a table all set when we got there right in the front row. I would give this place 0 stars if possible. It was my girlfriend's birthday and she arrived on time at 8pm because Keys called her and said that if you are more than 15mins late they give away the table....she said NO ONE was there when she arrived and the show didn't started at 830. There are only a few tables and they shoved them right up to the stage where the piano players are. It was too close for my liking because I was sitting in an awkward position trying to watch the piano players and have a side conversation with my girlfriends about the entertainment. The drinks were weak and the drink I ordered tasted like cough medicine (I probably would have been able to choose a better drink if I wasn't getting pressured from the piano player to just hurry up and pick a drink...awkward) The service was average,but the piano players were complete assholes to just my table and they are the reason we left after wasting an hour of our time and money. I understand that the piano players are trying to entertain and get the audience involved with the music but I didn't realize I was attending some wanna be "comedy" show based off of the people in the audience, as in just my table of four dressed up girls out for a birthday celebration. I have this feeling that, that is why we became the joke for the next hour... Right when I walked in and sat down with my group of girls I felt targeted and so did my friends. We were first made fun of for needing more alcohol and needing to let loose. It was true we did need more alcohol and needed to get into the music, sorry the show had just begun. Can we have a few mins here to sit and relax? Guess not. Then we picked a song to request and decided to give the piano player $7 to play Rihanna, "Only Girl In the World", it was played right away so I am assuming the other tables weren't paying as much for songs at the time (your welcome). Jordan played the song and made fun of it while doing it and both piano players (the other pianist was Zarni) totally cracked so many obnoxious jokes about our song choice to a point where it wasn't funny anymore, everyone was laughing at us, and it just became a very awkward situation for us. So at this point I decided to start looking for other places to go on my phone because the show was over for us, we didn't feel welcomed. While I am on my phone looking for other bars the piano players decided to make the show about me and how I am on my phone...really? This went on for much longer than it should had, and other people in the audience ended up being even more rude toward us and making jokes themselves about my group and I. Is this real life? I come to a bar to be entertained and celebrate my friend's birthday. I am a paying customer, yet my table for whatever reason right from the start literally became the butt of all jokes! No one else from the audience or any other table had any obnoxious jokes made about them, just us! So my friends and I will NEVER be returning!! This is more of a warning, be prepared that every little thing you do might be made fun of and if you aren't requesting oldies music for them to play, you WILL be laughed at and made fun of for "not having good taste in music". Keys on Main is a disaster and the piano players are complete tools and ruined part of a great night! read more

We loved this place! The drinks were reasonably priced and delicious (try their strawberry lemon drop) but the entertainment was unsurpassable. The piano players probably have a repertoire of 300-500 songs, and with a little help from Google, can access about 3000. They are talented, funny, and will make your night a memorable one. If you want fast and furious, go on the weekend ($5 cover), but if you want a slighltly more personal show and want to hear all of your song requests, try Thursday night. Great place for a girls night out or to celebrate a special occasion. That piano players are great, and the staff is overall pretty friendly. On a busy night it might take a while to get your drinks just due to the sheer number of people at the bar, but normally you're having so much fun you don't notice. Had a group of 10 for my husband's birthday and they ruined the night. We made a reservation to make sure the night went off without a hitch. The place we were having dinner out had a computer issue and could not run our cards for 30 minutes. Two of us made sure to be at the piano bar by 8:45 to save our table as the rest of the group was still paying. At 8:55pm the manager told us he was giving up our table and literally starting sitting people around me. I explained the group would only be 5 minutes late and were really looking forward to the night but sitting 8 people was more important. I get they need to be efficient but I would never recommend a place that has no care for their customers. I hear the other piano bar in town is as good, have to try that place next time. read more
