They were very kind and professional. I had the brave (read: dumb) idea to try to rekey my new Level Lock Touch smartlock deadbolt myself when it arrived because I wanted the immediate gratification of installing it, which I promptly regretted. 10/10 don't recommend trying to rekey a schlage cylinder at home, it's much more of a mess than trying to rekey a Kiwiset at home. I went by the Keyway the next morning and they were super polite and nice, and re-keyed it for me while I waited to match our existing house keys. Separately from my experience as a walk-in with my lock, I had left a message after hours the night before during my "let's take apart the lock myself" mistake and they called me back before 10am the following morning. The building itself, if you are trying to go there, I would have mistaken for a small modern looking condo building because of the outside spaces if it hadn't been for their logo on the side and top of the building. It's next to the flooring shop on Mt. Vernon if you are looking for their actual office. I called from outside and they promptly answered and came to the door. read more

We called them to come and fix our door they said 118 dollars just to show up. We said OK that's fine. Guy shows up and starts saying I might have to take the door off and that's $350 but even then it might not be guaranteed that it will be fixed and started telling us what he might end up doing . By the time he was done he said it might be close to a 1000. So we told him No and payed the 118 just for showing up and while i was paying him he was talking to his boss saying they will call us back. Well we didn't we called a guy the next day he fixed it for 175 and its like brand new. I usually don't write reviews but i don't want anybody to fall for their tricks. read more

My Mazda dealer recommended these folks after we lost the last key to the Mazda 3, leaving it stranded in a parking garage that tow trucks were too tall to enter! Calling Keyway not only saved us the cost and hassle of towing the car to the dealer, but they made and programmed the keys for a lot less money right there in the parking garage. Everyone we spoke to at Keyway was friendly and helpful. Chad, who came out to rescue the car and make the new keys, went out of his way to accommodate our schedule when he had to follow up over the weekend with our extra-extra key (we have 3 now!). I echo Kenneth C's 1/20/16 comment. Keyway is exceptional and earned my loyalty too. My dealer could have programmed a new smartkey for me BUT it was expensive (almost twice Keyway) and inconvenient. It also would have taken days since they have no key-cutting equipment and would have had to send out for the emergency door key. KW came to me. It took 20 minutes. The technician ran into a problem that would have stumped many but he knew enough to overcome it. Thanks Keyway. read more

Called next morning at sunrise and the female who set up the appointment over the phone was nothing but sweet. Took about an hour for the technician to arrive at the scene from the time that I had called but I must say that I was more than satisfied with Ken's help from start to completion. Note: this was not an emergency call but...Tommy arrived in a SNOW STORM of 6" at the time of his arrival. I thought I needed keys for the doors on my F700 truck. Turns out the locks were just dirty from years of sitting unused. In just a few minutes Cameron the Locksmith was able to fix the problem and cut me an extra key. Refused to charge me even a minimum service fee, said they were close by on another job! I had an issue with a lock at my home and based on my description Bobby gave me price. When the service technician came out, the problem was not as severe as I feared so he quickly fixed the lock and he called and got an updated price since the quote on his paperwork didn't seem right to him, saving me some money without even asking!!
