The staff is very rude at this location and unsanitary, we were shorted food and when asked about it the wouldn't give us a recipt called to speak with a manager was hung up on the 3 employees 2 males and a female seemed to be more concerned playing with eachother than getting us our food. Ordered food through the app for pick up today, and I got there 2 hours later, there's nothing waiting for pickup. Waited in front of the or the register to be helped for 10 minutes without being acknowledged by anyone, the female night worker made eye contact multiple times but didn't say a word. Good thing someone asked her for the restroom so she had to come to the front and buzzed him in. After that she came up to the register and ask if I needed anything, I showed her the order # and name and said it is not there. She looked at the computer and said she doesn't have an order for that name right now; I said I ordered it 2 hours ago and it said it was ready awhile ago but I was busy at work and couldn't pick up right away. The order said sold so it is not canceled or anything. She kept saying she doesn't see that order so she can't do anything about it and kept brushing me off to walk away or talk to other customers even though I was in front of the line. I told her I think someone may have taken my order or that they gave it away to someone else. Is there away for her to check or redo my order? She told me no you can just cancel it, she's busy and continue to brush me off to go do other things. I understand the store was busy but that doesn't mean you should be rude to your customers, especially when I didn't even do anything to her, I waited patiently and didn't rush or demand anything from them and yet I still get treated that way. I come here to often to see if the food has changed or gotten better and it hasn't. Everytime I come here they are out of chicken. I just ordered a KFC newly advertised chicken sandwich bar this location. I was told in the drive thru line it would be a ten minute wait. I paid and pulled to the front parking spot. after waiting 28 minutes and seeing other orders filled from other Customers who walked in, I decided to walk in fo complain that nof only was I mislead about the wait time but others who arrived after me had their chicken sandwich orders filled who arrived after me. I have visited this location 3 times in the past few month, when visiting relatives in Palm Desert. The first time we purchased the $30.00 fill- up that comes with chicken pieces and chicken tenders. They forgot to put the tenders in the bag. When trying to call them on the telephone, they don't answer and after10 or so rings the phone disconnects. A manager from another store was kind enough to contact their manager by cellphone and we were able to return and get the tenders. The second visit was without incident. The third visit, today, was as poor as the first . Although we specifically asked twice for honey for the biscuits, and each time we were told they were in the bag, they didn't give it to us. We were also again unsuccessful in trying to contact the manager via telephone as once again they did answer and after 10 or so rings, the phone disconnected. What really is annoying is that they didn't have any other customers in the drive-through behind us, so it's not like they were so busy that they were overwhelmed. When I got my chicken, it was not crispy at all and the meat was dry. I thought that was a fluke, so I tried again the following week. Nope. It's consistently terrible. The voice was so pleasant and cheery, i thought it was pre-recorded. I placed my order, and was offered the upsize for .20 more - which I took. Then I get to the window and am face to face with the biggest warmest smile ever! My food was totally prepped. I didnt have to ask for condiments, they were already in the bag. The chicken in my chicken sandwich must've been at least three days old hard as a rock tasteless and it's being gracious. First of First of all, I couldn't understand the person at drive thru. Very thick accent and I had to repeat my order several times. When I got to the drive thru window, I made sure to repeat my order several times, to make sure, employee understood me. I repeated, "please make sure, I get three pieces of chicken. The last time I was here, I only received two pieces. Make sure, there is a breast, a thigh, and a leg". Again, I repeated this no less than four times. I went into the store to dine in and ordered a four piece chicken meal. My order was taken by Jonathan and I also gave him a 20% gratuity for just taking my order. I received my order and sat down to eat and realized that it was dripping with oil. Now I understand that it is Kentucky Fried Chicken and they use oil, and that there is going to be some oil but this was dripping with oil!!! Anyway, I moved up to the counter and asked to talk to the manager, Jaunita and I showed her this food is really really oily and looks like it's been sitting in oil the whole day. Juanita is very professional, offered me my money back or offered to give me another four piece meal However, Jonathan who originally took my order started to get involved in the discussion and asked me what did I expect that it was Kentucky Fried Chicken and they use oil to cook l. I said I understand where I was at and I said I understood that they use oil I said, I regularly eat a Kentucky Fried Chicken but this was exceptionally oily. Today, around 11:15 a.m., the drive-through cashier gave me the incorrect change. When I told him so, he got belligerent, cursed at me, and took the change he thought he owed me and threw it through my window. When I tossed the pennies back in, he threw a glass of water into my car and on me. I returned to speak with the manager around 2:15 p.m., at which time the "manager was not there," so two assistants came to hear what I had to say. They listened to their fellow employees more than me, even though THE CASHIER HAD GIVEN ME TOO MUCH MONEY AS CHANGE. They didn't care, and the cashier said that if I was given too much money, why would I complain? Why not just keep it? Because I'm honest, and I've also managed a (family steakhouse) restaurant: he is incompetent in the job, and is terrible at customer relations, so he has to go. After getting nowhere, I began to leave when one of the assistants started harassing me. Then, her little boyfriend came out of the back (no uniform) and started crying, "Get away from my girlfriend," and acting like he wanted to attack me. Other employees held him back, but the cashier grabbed me and threw me to the ground. Another customer, there at 2:15, also had a problem with getting the wrong amount back, witnessed the staff assault me, then the staff started pushing him and yelling at him, too. Bottom Line: KFC: If your receipts and cash drawer don't match, now you know why: your cashier's can't do math, and yet they don't put the customer amount in the register, or use a calculator to get it right. And the drive-through cashier who is giving away KFC's money? Abusing customers, swearing at them, being disrespectful, and fighting customers: he has no place in customer service. My wife and I have gone to this KFC many times and we usually get the same thing: a 3 pc tenders Fill Up box with biscuit, mashed potatoes or coleslaw, a cookie and a Pepsi., and another Fill Up box but with a chicken breast instead of the tenders, and the drink is lemonade. And we order an additional small side of coleslaw. And it's usually very good. But yesterday was a big exception. We walked in, placed our order and the cashier specifically asked us if our extra side of slaw was big or small and I said a small one. Then we were told the total was $16.45. That was more than usual and since the cashier said he was new, he asked the manager who said the lemonade was 99 cents. We'd never paid extra before and she said "It's 99 cents." OK, but why? The meal comes with a drink, we said. She said non-pink lemonade is extra. I said we weren't told of the distinction; if so, we would have ordered the pink because lemonade is lemonade. She grabbed it, curtly said to the cashier "Give them a dollar refund and a pink lemonade!" and walked away. No apology but plenty of attitude. Then we saw that the 3 piece tender Fill Up box, which used to be $5 until it was raised to $5.49, was now priced at $6.49. Totally outrageous price gouging. To make matters worse, when we got home, we realized we were charged $2.79 for a large coleslaw instead of a small for about $1.50. But did they give us the large coleslaw? No way. We were given the small but charged for the large. Great! And while the tenders were good, the chicken breast was waaay overcooked and so dry and burned it wasn't even edible. We threw it away. After about 5 minutes they told me it was no good even though it didnt expire till 9/5/2020 and if I wanted the same order it would be $6 more than the coupon price of $12. I asked to see a manager as I had just got the coupon in the paper. The manager wasn't there so they called him. He did not honor the coupon. I picked another option since i was already there, it came with 14 pieces, I only got 13 pieces. I asked for xtra crispy and got half and half.
