They need to retrain their staff because they're always forgetting something. I can say, though, the speed of their drive thru isn't bad.

Much better location than the one on Ford road. Employees are more professional and focused and the quality of the food is much higher.

Food took forever, didn't alert that there was gonna be a long wait, didn't close box, gravy was spilling over.

It's surprising to me that the name hasn't already been trademarked as the label is very generic and frequently used around the country. This chicken shop was located on a busy stretch of Michigan Ave in South Canton. Plenty of parking was available in the lot, and the inside could seat well over 50 customers. Like a lot of other similar businesses, there was colorful and cartoonish decor on the dining room walls. Four menu screens hung behind the service counter. Main entrees were displayed on the left two screens. Four combos were on the first, and a la carte items (e.g. grilled cheese, loaded fries) were on the second. Drinks, desserts, and party packs were listed on the right two screens. Six levels of spiciness were available from Country to Blazin which required a signed waiver. The 2 Pc Tender Basket was my selection. The order contained two tenders (mild spice was my choice) on top of a piece of white bread, crinkle cut french fries, sweet pickle chips, and a cup of coop sauce. The last item was similar to remoulade. I liked that the pickles weren't sour as most places serve. The issue was that the breading did not adhere well to the chicken pieces which were also small compared to the standard at hot chicken places in my hometown.

Well that has changed with the opening of this restaurant off Michigan Ave and Beck Rd in Canton. The place is vibrant, colorful and edgy. The employees are courteous and the food I had was delicious. My only complaint is that the portions are not that big when compared to the prices, but the flavors are all there. The banana pudding is also a must try. If you've been to other hot chicken places this joint doesn't really stand out. However given where it's located I'm more than happy to stop by regularly! On side note I got their regular "hot" chicken and I thought it was the perfect amount of heat for me!

Several weeks later, when the crowds died down, I popped in for dinner. The small parking lot was nearly full; I snagged the last spot. Maybe this is more of a to-go place? The menu is very limited. Essentially, there are various combinations of (3, 4, and 6) chicken fingers with fries and sides. There is also a chicken sandwich. I ordered the Box Combo, which includes four chicken fingers, sauce, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, and a beverage, but I was worried I would still be hungry. The staffer reassured me that it would be more than enough. And she was right. The sizable chicken fingers were juicy and tender with a tasty, crunchy coating. The crinkle-cut fries were a-okay, as was the coleslaw. However, I did not care for the sauce, expecting it to be a bit sweeter, like J. Alexander's, nor did I care for the toast. The team staffing the restaurant was top-notch. They stayed on top of cleaning up the restaurant and replacing the garbage cans while remaining friendly and pleasant to customers.

They have some chicken that's already fried under heat lamps, but you can also ask them to fry you new pieces. I got the three piece (two wings and a breast) plus biscuit for $7.99. The breast was already fried under a heat lamp and they were out of wings. They told me that it would be twenty minutes if I wanted to wait for the wings. That was fine and I waited. The wings and breast tasted the same even though the breast was under the heat lamp and the wings were freshly fried. It was extra crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and very well seasoned. Their biscuits are also delicious. It has a crispy honey coating on the top and the inside is very fluffy. Trust me when I tell you that they have the best fried chicken. I eat fried chicken all the time. I need to stop, lol. I tried another location before this and came here just to compare. They were both legit.

I said it). I LOVE it!! For $13, I get my choice of 3 chicken parts, a side- the Cole slaw is really good... a little tart, a little sweet. The chicken - even after sitting a bit - is always great, never soggy and with a spicy kick. And a soda. The food & counter area are clean, tidy and well maintained. The staff at the food counter are really nice people and unless you want a pizza, the wait is minimal. You can buy one piece of chicken, or combos, plus they have wonderful looking pizza. And prolly much more. I selected "Ambiance" because the counter and business area are never dirty, the employees are polite, friendly and if it was a "stand alone" establishment, it would reflect the owners's vision. Gas prices are decent, also!!

A humble facade hides a culinary arsenal that far surpasses its straightforward name. My culinary expedition began with the calzone, which I must anoint as the crown jewel of the evening. Stuffed like a noble's purse and baked to a golden, rustic finish, it was a magnificent, doughy vessel of molten cheese and savory bliss. One bite, and I briefly contemplated leaving behind my earthly possessions and pledging loyalty to this calzone alone. The cheese sticks offered no such room for critique. They arrived with unapologetic thickness, each baton of mozzarella-laden comfort daring me to stop at one. I did not. Paired with dipping sauces like marinara and ranch, they hummed a simple, nostalgic tune -- an edible lullaby for the weary on this late spring evening. The Hawaiian pizza was a close confidant to the throne. Brimming with fresh ingredients -- each pineapple glistening like a gem in a sea of cheese, each slice of ham a silken ribbon of salt and satisfaction *chef's kiss* -- it was a testament to Pizza Place's commitment to quality. However, the crust itself was, dare I say, the weak link: a bit too tame, lacking that cheeky flourish or flavorful snap that would have elevated it from "good" to "sonnet-worthy." And just when I thought the evening had reached its end, along came the cinnamon sticks -- soft, sugary, and shamelessly indulgent. Each bite was like a powdered-sugar-dusted curtain call that made the meal feel complete. A dessert not of restraint, but of victory! To top it all off, I had the pleasure of meeting Jacob, the owner, whose patience, warmth, and genuine hospitality elevated the entire experience. It turns out this location has only been open for one month to the day -- though judging by the food, you'd think he'd been slinging pies since birth. A new venture, yes -- but already rooted in passion and promise. Would I return? In a heartbeat. Because once you find Pizza Place, you realize you were only ever searching for it all along.
