Know what you what before you go to the drive thru or someone will come over the speaker with an attitude and them that attitude is transfered to the window person. Went through the other day, mind you 3rd time there and the first two I used a coupon. When I was trying to read the screen, the "someone" thought I was talking to "the child" with attitude. The menu board does like a 20 second loop and not enough time to figure out the menu. the when I was at the window, my coin changed was dropped into my hand by approximately a foot above my hand, the drink holder was torn in the corner of my drinks, 3 our of 4 were full. I've been around the block and know attitude when I see it. The chicken is good, but I don't need attitude. Oh no. What happened here. We ordered delivery to our airport hotel. Had good food last time. I love Lees. Just not this one..E for a 3 piece n 2 piece meal..mashed potatoes, baked beans n Mac n cheese. Greasy greasy greasy. Just wasn't good except to apple pies. But we are flying out in the AM so needed some grub n my tummy before the bday trip. Within 3 hrs my man n I were fighting over the toilet. Stomach upset n diarrhea. Last thing I wanted before my flight. I was literally up til 4am trying to get that chicken out. Thank goodness by flight time we were half way ok. Will not order again. Ugh read more

Chicken tenders 10/10 Chicken wings 7.5/10 I like tenders more the whole bag Coleslaw 8.5/10. Cold container separated it from fried food, little acidity to cut through the heaviness Mac and cheese 7/10. Very good place. Chicken is super tasty. Sides are good. Very quick carryout and accurate too. I grew up on the one in Plymouth. This is even bit as good. I've taken home, to my parents and to the office. My parents are hooked on the livers here. My dad loves them with the gravy. At work strips are most popular and so easy to eat. Consistently delicious. I prefer the wings or breast on the bone. Great mashed potatoes and a bit of coleslaw make it a full meal of nostalgia. I feel like a kid and try to forget I should not be so indulgent with myself. Service is good and friendly and it's clean inside. If you order ahead it's super easy. I am one of those people that I get started on something & I become fixated on it. This summer is the summer of good old fashioned fried chicken (I am older and no longer worried about looking great in my swimsuit). Today was Lee's chicken in Wayne. I pass Lee's every time I am coming home from the west. Although I love Saroki's and Stacks but I like to experience different restaurants offerings. The chicken was fresh, the Cole slaw was tangy, slightly sweet with a hint of mustard (I think). YUMMO!!! The staff was efficient and answered my questions. The dining area was your typical fast food booths and I believe most of their business is carry out. The decor does not really invite you to sit, chat and enjoy your meal. BUT... a great place to swing in to and pick up a quick meal. If you have a sweet tooth, they have an intriguing mini Pecan Pie! read more

Just opened Wayne Mi this last week.The Yemeni guy who owns a bunch of Leo's bought franchise rights to open 12 new locations in Metro Detroit the next couple years. Started in 1966 by the nephew of Harlan Sanders of KFC . Locations in a dozen states poised to open a hundred new franchise locations Nationwide. My Grandma outta Hazard Kentucky turned me on to Fried Chicken Gizzards and Liver's 55 years ago. These remind me of her's, so tender delicious perfect amount of breading. I'm so hooked so many really bad places just can't cook these. Delicious Fried Chicken 3 pc with 2 sides and a Biscuit only 8 bucks. And got order Spicy Breaded Chicken Strips outstanding. Always late at pickup, service bad, food not eatible. First, this wasn't the first time they FORGOT my order completely, but also the service and food struck street level bottom. I ordered 2 - 4 piece dinners online (through doordash, but decided to pick it up myself). Suppose to be ready at 809, wasn't. No sorry, no nothing. Entire restaurant emptied and then they filled it at 829. I ate through 1.5 pieces of chicken and felt ill, gave the rest to my dog. My dog threw it up 10 minutes after eating it.. They were good when they opened, but now they don't care. I told my co-workers and they said the same thing. They won't order from there any more, and neither will I. I use to order every week. I should have guessed they were going bad after the 5th time of not having my food ready and 2nd time of not even started it. The food is just a mouth full of SALT. Save yourself money. read more

Customer service is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! Drive thru is very speedy and the person on the mic everytime I come through is so sweet and patient. They should honestly quit and become a voice actor!!! Food tastes amazing as-well with the chicken always being fresh and hot. The environment when i walk into the lobby is very welcoming and the second you walk in you're being taken care of. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants some fried chicken over Popeyes or KFC anyday! (P.S. the pot pies are absolutely delicious keep up the good work at lee's) read more
