Terrible food, insanely expensive!!! Last time the chicken was old, nasty, disgusting, almost like they found a dying, decaying, old, old chicken and cut him up. Really the worst chicken I've ever had from a KFC. This used to be a really good franchise but has consistently gone down hill. Coleslaw was also disgusting. The Chino valley KFC is the standard fare franchise that serves their traditional menu. I used the drive through so no comment on the inside of the place but the exterior area was clean and well maintained the staff very friendly which was nice. The food was exactly what I ordered and by the time I got it home to eat, everything was still very warm. The food was the way I remember KFC as a kid. Not the best mash potatoes though the gravy was great. The Mac and cheese nothing special but good quality not bad either. The buttermilk biscuits are always delicious with packs of their honey. I didn't find any feather hairs in the chicken which was good as most fast food chicken places do a poor job on that. I like the old original style. What funny I was recently in Tokyo and one evening had KFC their. And it was excellent. Of course Japanese standards and quality far exceed that of elsewhere. Wife and I usually love KFC chicken pot pies. This time at KFC in Chino Valley, AZ, the bottom of the pie pan was pushed up nearly to the upper crust. It was less than half full! I took it back and was told by manager that he was so directed. I exchanged for one less crushed/more full, as I was hungry, but next time will get a refund. DON'T BUY HALF PIES!! Would you buy a half-gallon container of milk that only held one quart? Purchase half an apple pie for the price of a whole one? read more

This is an update from my 2015 posting. The staff and management has improved quite a bit. The courteous service and the attention to correct food orders is noticeable. We usually dine-in and appreciate the cleanliness and tidiness of this KFC/Taco Bell. For a "fast food" this restaurant does a pretty good job of making both types of food tasty and worth the cost. The competition in Chino Valley for your food dollar is noteworthy. read more

Almost as bad as the Taco Bell portion of the building. I won't say restaurant because I wouldn't give this place the distinction. Always out of chicken!! Almost every time I go there they are out of what I order. You can't eat their cold slaw, which I normally love, because it will send you quickly to the bathroom later. If you order original recipe, prepare for the greasiest experience of your life! The only thing I will order from that place is their chicken tenders and mash potato bowl. I drive to Las Vegas often. I usually stop at this KFC for something light to hold me over until I get to Vegas. The last three times the chicken has been old and disgusting. I got the wings and they were 30 minutes away from being chicken jerky! Old and nasty food. I am not going to spend another cent here and I strongly suggest you don't either. I ordered the "wings" for the 2nd time, as the first was AWFUL! I thought it was my usual luck OR they had a bad day but no, the "wings'' are bones with very thick batter surrounding them. Second time in 12 months we stopped by to order $20 fill up. Now they have the $30 fill up which only adds on chicken tenders to the order. AGAIN we order the fill up - upgrade to the $30 fill up and AGAIN we failed to received the entire order. Last time with the $20 fill up we didn't get any potatoes! How hard is it to complete a order so simple? Obviously this will be the last order from us. Good luck with your $15 an hour employee who can't even complete a simple order. Think twice before eating at the KFC in Chino Valley AZ.I went to buy a quick dinner for the family after working all day. I went to KFC via the drivethru . It was 5:15pm , I ordered the value chicken strips with sauce and wanted extra sauce (which I explained that I would pay for). When I got home there was no sauce at all and the strips were sooooo hard /old my cats wouldn't even eat it. What bothers me most is that even though I called in to the comment line I received no response from the franchise that owns this restaurant. Nothing /Nada from managers or a supervisor. I called corporate and marketing (who handles the complaint line) sent me a $10 voucher. Generally in most restaurants 5-8 is considered dinner rush and the food should be fresh if managers are checking hold times during walk throughs. If you eat here ask and wait for it to be cooked fresh. read more
