So, the positive is we were hungry and they had food. We left no longer hungry. That was good. The rest: the staff here couldn't have cared less about the customer experience: poor attitude, forgot our order (only made it after I waited ten minutes and asked what was up) and a customer mopped up a spill after other customers asked that it be cleaned up so nobody would slip and fall. The manager (person with non matching shirt) did not apologize for the error nor did he do anything to ensure cleanliness or safety of restaurant. This place is a complete and utter sh*t show.

The first time I ever tried a Raising Cane's was back when we were still living in the "915"…read more(IYKYK). At that time, I hadn't yet tried the famous Cane's sauce; mainly because my wife somehow convinced me it wasn't worth my time. She said she didn't care for it. I fail to see why. Because after trying some for the first time today, I can tell you their sauce could give Chick-Fil-A sauce a run for its money! It may look like thousand island dressing, but it tastes like a party in my mouth. Only wish I'd ordered more. Pro tip: if you're getting more than 3 strips of chicken, get extra sauce! Trust me on this one. Your palate will thank you later. Not only are the chicken strips big and meaty, their fries are even more sensational. Now, it's been a few years since I last got to enjoy one of my favorite fast food fries (whoa-try saying THAT fast 3 times) of all time. But these crinkled little fellas are better than I remember. Crisp on the outside and seasoned to the nines, this meal as a whole gets a 10. This location has a particular drive thru setup I've never seen at any of the other Cane's I've visited. In order to understand the configuration of their drive thru, I'll have to explain how their parking lot is orientated. There are actually two entrance/exit points leading into the parking lot; one before and one after you pass the Cane's building. Regardless of which entrance you use, each one does a giant U-turn leading back to a dual-lane drive thru. If you're doing curbside pickup (as I did), you simply drive past the drive thru entrance, pull up to the left side of the building if you're facing the street, and there you'll see the curbside pickup signs. This design is so clever, I'm shocked more restaurants haven't implemented this. It's made so that, even if you accidentally pass the RC sign, there's still an opportunity to use the second entrance. As you can imagine, we were so stoked when we first heard they were building one of these in Manchester. And now it's finally a reality! Sufficed to say, we will certainly be visiting this place in the future. Raising Cane's in Manchester gets 5 chicken strips dipped in party mouth sauce out of 5.

One thing that gives me pause is the sides. More than once I've noticed the dates on the containers are already in the past. Maybe it's harmless, maybe it's not. The staff are always friendly, efficient, and seem to keep things moving, which is appreciated when you're hungies and your patience is operating on low battery. As for the décor? It's exactly what you'd expect from a chicken place. NGL, nobody is walking in expecting an Architectural Digest photo shoot or interior design awards displayed on the walls. The place was redone which has a cozy inside dining room with tables & booths and high top tables, seating for 15-20 people, arm chairs & chairs for waiting patrons, painted orange walls, modest decor, and outside covered patio seating in the front. The place is order & pay at the counter for dine-in (staff brings out your food) and takeout. The food offerings include tacos, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, chips & dips, tostadas, cerviches, street corn, salads, soup, desserts (sopapillas, ice cream), and cold drinks (Jarritos, soft drinks, water). The prices are moderate. I stopped by Roberto's after work for takeout. I arrived here around 4:55 PM and there were plenty of customers already here and still coming in. I placed my order for a full order of Pork Nachos ($14.11 with tax). The dining room tables filled up as I waited in a comfortable chair. My order was all set in 15 minutes. The nachos were piled with soft lean carnitas, queso, green onions, beans, cotja, cilantro, over warm crisp salted nacho chips, served with cups of sour cream, pico de gallo & guacamole. These nachos were fresh and very tasty. I actually enjoyed some of those nachos outside on the patio before repacking and eating the rest later. I will definitely stop back again for dinner since those soft taco plates including fish tacos and tostadas also looked pretty good being served to dine-in customers.

We only coming in to get the milk shake. We went to the machine and decided to order from there. We ordered regular Oreo milk shake and a regular m&m milk shake. The bad part is we were waiting around 10-15 mins for just 2 of the drinks. The cashier seems to be talking to his friend who was the customer at the counter. We wouldn't mind but it seems like it's taking too long for just 2 drinks. So I came up to the counter and ask for the order. The cashier seems surprised and asked what was the order. I said i ordered it from the machine. That's when i know he didn't pay attention for the order on the screen. He apologized, which is fine. And he quickly made the order. The lady who looks like the manager also came in and gave us coupons for free slides (which later we found out it has already expired) Upon arriving home. We opened the lid and found out that they didn't filled the drinks all the way. And my boyfriend said his m&m was super packed that he only got a little bit of the drink. Overall we were disappointed. We paid around $18 and didn't get amount we paid for. We wish the worker would pay more attention with the service because it's not too late at night and it's not busy.

This place is right in the Kendall Square area, an easy walk from all of the tech companies. 10 piece fried chicken - Chicken was decent sized and definitely not bulk ordered chicken. Chicken cheese patties - they were dry and not that cheesy at all. This saddens me as the place prior to them opening served the best chicken cheese patties in the area. Chicharron - Kind of over cooked and dry. The skin is definitely crispy - almost to a fault as most were too hard to enjoyably bite into. The dryness was the worse. Plaintains were okay, tasted more like potatoes but I think thats how they are supposed to taste anyways. Service was good. Checkout was easy with tap-to-pay. Maaz's Chicken serves up fried chicken, sandwiches, gyros, burgers, rice platters, fried seafood, appetizers, salads, desserts, and cooler drinks (Pepsi products/Gatorade). The prices here seem reasonable. I stopped by Maaz's Chicken for lunch and dinner on Grand Opening Day when they were giving out free lunch (selected items) and 50 percent off the menu all day. The place was very busy with a line out the door. The owner had a DJ playing music near the entrance and chatting with customers. The owner is from Rhode Island and actually works across the border in Mass. The owner was looking for a place to open a chicken restaurant and chose Franklin, NH since it's a good area, bypassing Franklin, MA (for now) much closer to Bellingham, MA and Rhode Island. The lunch line was very busy and I eventually got up to the counter and ordered the Chicken Sandwich and 2 pc Fried Chicken with Fries and can of Diet Pepsi and strawberry Hood Ice Cream for dessert, all complementary for lunch. The chicken sandwich was big with a thick breaded buffalo tender with lettuce & mayo, pretty good. The shoestring fries were decent and the fried chicken had a nice crispy salty coating on the outside. I decided I would return later for dinner takeout. I returned for dinner takeout several hours later and the place was getting slammed with the line almost to the door. I ordered a bunch of food including a Beef Gyro ($8.99 plus tax), 6 Mozzarella Sticks ($6.25 plus tax), Chicken Over Rice Platter ($10.99 plus tax) and a 2 Pc Tilapia with Fries & Slaw ($11.99 plus tax). With the Grand Opening Discount, my total with tax was $20.83. After ordering, there was another line of customers waiting to pick up their food after paying. I waited about 16 minutes for my big order to be all set. They did run out of cole slaw and let me substitute Banana Pudding which is normally the same price as cole slaw ($2.99 plus tax). I checked my order before leaving and everything was there. I enjoyed my big dinner back at the office and the portions of food were generous. The Chicken Over Rice Platter was excellent, which had firm seasoned rice topped with marinated hot chicken pieces, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, white sauce. The Beef Gyro was overflowing with beef gyro meat, lettuce, tomato, red onions, and a house dressing in a soft warm thick wrap. The Mozzarella Sticks were standard and came with marinara dipping sauce. The 2 Pc Tilapia with Fries was comprised of 2 good size fried tilapia filets with a seasoned breading and a pile of shoestring fries, tartar sauce was provided too. The Banana Pudding was sweet and topped with Nilla Wafer cookies. Overall, I was able to try a variety of foods here at Maaz's Chicken including the grand opening lunch and discounted dinner food. The fried chicken though crispy outside was very salty and dry, probably due to the volume of customers ordering the same thing. The fries at lunch time were not very hot (staff trying to serve the masses at lunch) and the fries I got with my tilapia dinner were hot and firm. The Chicken Over Rice Platter and Beef Gyro were excellent and my favorites of the day. This rating is based on the dinner takeout (4.5/5.0) and not on the grand opening lunch.
