Expecting the worst we were proven wrong as the service was excellent, our food came out fast and everything was correct, they even offered us double sauces free of charge! Although almost every table was dirty it was quickly made up by the food, it was great. chicken had the perfect amount of flavor and not too dry. Stopped for lunch in 1/1/2025 at 12:15pm driving for 2h,, sign on the door says open at noon, entry doors are locked, woman standing still wearing a multi-colored hoodie, She holds up a finger up low 1min. I downloaded the KFC app when in Dover, selected.a promo fir using the app, and placed my order only to find my order routed to Concord. No one answered the support number to cancel my order nor could the store cancel my order. Sometimes the world is less than perfect, yet it's how folks move through those imperfections that make a difference. Charlue is the resident difference maker at this store who listened to my situation, gave heartfelt empathy, and tossed in enough extra goodies as they redid my order which had otherwise disappeared and turned one of life's frustrations into a positive affirmation of good people in the world. You can't coach goodness sprinkled with genuineness and authenticity and that extra helping of want to. A few rare folks have that gene that gives just the right combination and flavor. So, the positive is we were hungry and they had food. We left no longer hungry. That was good. The rest: the staff here couldn't have cared less about the customer experience: poor attitude, forgot our order (only made it after I waited ten minutes and asked what was up) and a customer mopped up a spill after other customers asked that it be cleaned up so nobody would slip and fall. The manager (person with non matching shirt) did not apologize for the error nor did he do anything to ensure cleanliness or safety of restaurant. If you put online order in and confirmation states food ready at 12:58 pm please pick up through drive, one would think if you got there at 12:55 on a long drive up line there would be no issue! I have been a regular customer since this franchise opened in the late 70's. Since the last management retired this place has become a dump. Cooks smoking outside with aprons on. Order takers without customer attentiveness. There have been times when they had no chicken breast. There have been times there was no chicken wings. There have been times there were no eating trays. My order has been wrong 2 out of 4 times. (Cole slaw not potato please). Got it wrong. When eating inside everything is sticky and the floor is slippery. The little old lady who is (I think a boss) is either smoking outside or babysitting some child at the tables. I saw my order taker eating food in the kitchen then take my order without washing his hands. Take my money then proceeded to give me my drinking cup with one finger in the cup. I asked for another, and he did it again. I had to explain why I wanted a 3rd cup. He looked at me like I was putting him out of his way. The KFC on Hall Street is the only KFC in Concord after the Loudon Road location closed in 2016. I now have to drive a bit further for my KFC fix during my lunch break. I stop in here at least once a month for lunch. This is a typical KFC restaurant which has self serve seating inside and a drive-thru. I usually order one of the $5 Fill-Up Boxes, a Chicken Pot Pie or Extra Crispy Strips Box which comes with 3 Extra Crispy Strips, one side (I get the mashed potatoes & gravy or slaw), boxes include a cookie, and a Pepsi fountain drink (self serve), a good deal. The service here is pretty fast during lunch, my order is usually ready as I am filling up my fountain drink cup. This store also has a cozy seating area with booths and tables, though no curtains on the windows, hence plenty of sunlight. The wifi here is pretty good too. read more

The employees were super nice and our food was ready by the time we got drinks, cleaned off a dirty table, and sat down. While that may seem great... you know when the food is ready that quick that... it's not going to be good. This location is staffed by brain dead people. I ordered a chicken pot pie and a side. They had the right amount of staff for the number of customers present. Stay away!! One star is too much for this place. It looked to only have one person working when we got there. He was taking orders and cooking at the same time. The floors were incredibly filthy! Like grease everywhere mixed with pure filth. A couple in there were pretending to ski in it to make fun of it. Nothing in there looked as though it had been clean in quite some time, including the toilets. On top of that, the ceiling was leaking above one of the tables. The whole table and floor around it was soaked. No sign for a wet floor or anything to warn anyone. Our chicken smelled rotten! We are our fries and through almost everything else out. Being a food inspector for nearly 40 years I have had the opportunity to visit numerous Yum Brand / KFC restaurants. Not only as a customer, but in the kitchens for inspections as well. I'll admit, I am a KFC freak. Addicted / love it. This goes way outside my food safety training. Can't help it. Hall st. KFC in Concord is one of the filthiest kitchens out of all Northeast fast foods. The cashier who takes my order touches the money then puts her fingers inside my drinking cup. When I say "I don't want that cup" she does the same thing to my new cup. No clue or training as to what I'm talking about. The cook is outside with his cooking apron on taking out the trash then stops to smoke a butt. Sitting on an empty crate while his apron is dragging on the ground. The delivery door is caked with flour from top to bottom from traffic going out the back door. The floor is so greasy that it makes sense why the crew of 5 have about 12 teeth between the lot of them. I understand there is a revolving door associated with fast food restaurants and training is costly. However, I would be more proud of my restaurant knowing that when I use the same restroom my customers use it had soap and paper towels. When I took my take out order Wed. they didn't even have towels to put in my bag. I'm hoping employees went across the street to Burger King to use the restroom with soap and towels. read more

It's a typical KFC with the usual food. Five stars because the one by my house is always out of something and I have to wait 30+minutes for them to make more chicken even when I'm there at dinnertime. This KFC ran out of wings once and was happy to substitute them for something else so I didn't have to wait for them to make more. My last visit was drive through and they were happy to provide my dog with a cup of water for my hour long drive home. Biscuits didn't disappoint for the ride either. Thanks so much! read more

Quality may be a bit better, but the prices and angry servers are not typical of a KFC. New prices went into effect 3/6/17. As an example, the $2 chocolate cake is now $4.99, and all of the chicken-only offerings went up by $2-$5. I go to KFC religiously once a week. What can I say? I'm addicted. I go when I'm on the road for business and at home. I've been to Maine, NY, Connecticut and NH many times. The Hall street location is by far the worst KFC of all. They should be ashamed of themselves. When they remodeled and got a new owner it looked beautiful. But that's as far as it goes. The so called "Chef" is outside smoking butts with his apron on while the rest of the crew is out back laughing and carrying on. When the server finally comes out front and asks, "Is that for here" I get a box. If I say "To go" I get a tray. Then she takes my money and puts her fingers in my drink cup. "Food safety from farm to table". Yah right. After I place my order they tell me they have no white meat and it will be 20 minutes. The chef is on break. Hows that for a Fast Food Restaurant that serves chicken but has none ready? You can go in the bathroom and wash your hands but be prepared to dry them on your pants.
