I always enjoy their food, salad was fresh as can be, large ribeye cooked to perfection, medium rare and sides that do not disappoint! Service was exceptional and I always like the ambiance. The food is always consistently cooked the same across locations and is fresh. The mashed potatoes and the mac and cheese are really good. The beef is always top quality and done exactly how I asked. Though I'm not a fan of chain restaurants in general, my wife and I have been to Longhorn numerous times over the years and have always been happy with our experience. Most recently was last night, to celebrate my wife's birthday. She had a N.Y. strip and I had the chicken tenders. We also had an appetizer and she had a cocktail. All excellent, as usual. A special mention to our waitress, Chrystal, who went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful - without being intrusive - and helped make my wife's birthday a very memorable one! Before leaving we made a point of seeking out the manager to compliment Chrystal. I don't recall his name but he very graciously spent several minutes at our table chatting. It's not cheap but after all, it IS a steakhouse. We felt the prices are in line with other, similar establishments in the area. Will continue to be our "go to" place on special occasions. read more

My Husband & I are pretty much regular customers for we go there to eat about once a month. The last 2 times my Husbands ribeye was undercooked and over seasoned. His medium steak was still mooing. My chicken was way too salty. Now please keep in mind we order the same thing everytime. We went there on New Years Day and I almost left unseated for a group of 4 had a DOG with them that was not a service animal. It was a cat sized Yorkie. I WAS DISGUSTED!! .... With the fried pita bread- and the spinach Parmesan dip where do I start. Came here during the holidays for a ladies early dinner. We arrived around 4pm. It was Quiet and a slow time mid week. Our Waitress was outstanding- and they worked as a team which was lovely. If you needed something, someone was always there to accommodate. 1 alcohol beverage, 1 app, 3 steak meals came out to around $140.00 pre tip. Highly recommend !!!! The food is good quality for a chain. My only disappointment was the Parmesan "crust" on the steak was more of a huge blob of cheese. Not worth spending the money on. Unless you love huge blobs of cheese- which normally I would say yes but I wasn't expecting it, and wanted more of a dusting "crust". PERFECT, I came here looking for a nice ribeye and wasn't expecting much but then they whipped up the most jaw dropping tasty ribeye, and then after i ordered a lava cake and that was giant, the cake itself was as big as my palm and the ice cream was almost as big, and the service was amazing and they were incredibly kind to me and my family, and even tho the food came a little late and my mothers stake was a little raw, everything else was amazing. read more

After a busy morning of shopping we decided to stop for lunch. My dad really isn't a fan of anything except American food and since he had gone with us for Asian food the last time, we decided to eat here. The restaurant here is very clean, the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The menu is easy to read and has a good variety of food so that even the non steak eaters can enjoy. They do have lunch portions available and a good selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. My mom and I both ordered the ribs which were fall off the bone tender. Dad had a chicken appetizer plate with a side of fries, and my daughter decided to have just the cheese bacon fries. They are not on the menu but you can get them. We all enjoyed our visit and the food. The deserts sounded great, but we had no room. Lol Prices here are typical of a steakhouse. You do get bread for the table which is nice, but you only get one side. Its plenty of good, really, though. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area. read more

Me and my hubby really like Longhorn and hadn't have the chance to eat inside the restaurant for a while, so we've been sampling their menu through a take-out option. We noticed that the dine-in option was finally available again and took the chance. I am really glad we did. We like to come for their lunch menu - it's lighter and less pricey. The service was great and the atmosphere relaxing. We ordered: The chicken sandwich lunch option with a shrimp & lobster chowder. Everything was fresh and really well cooked. The steak salad lunch option with the same chowder soup. The steak was well cooked, although I wish the portion of the steak was a bit bigger. We also ordered hot coffee which came piping hot with lots of cream and sugar on the side. Their freshly baked bread was a bit on the crispy side, but delicious non the less. Before changing his mind, I was ordering his steak to a temp of medium well. I was then prompted to be aware that it may be better to order it medium so that in transit it didn't become overcooked. The Maverick Ribeye Sandwich, in his words, "was awesome" & something he'd order again for sure. We love the Firecracker Chicken Wraps & order them every time. I didn't really feel like having a full meal, so I got the White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms & the Spicy Chicken Bites. Food was excellent and portions are generous and server hot. I really decided to write a review because our server was absolutely the BEST! I believe her name was Octavia. She nailed it. I mentioned I'm not a big fan of leafy green salad, so asked a cesar, she said she'd make a tossed salad with romaine. Not a big deal in itself. Later, when I turned to ask for a refill...she had it in her hand! Waters were topped off regularly. Knowing it was my birthday, she asked if we wanted dessert. I told her no way I could eat more. For a chain, Longhorn's not bad. Steaks are cooked perfectly every time and the flat iron or filet are both flavorful and fantastic. Otherwise the sides are average. Little too much richness added to them whether it be butter, garlic, anything thick and fattening. Less is more right? The food is consistently great, especially the red rock grilled shrimp and the salmon. My husband loves the ribs and steak. Always perfectly cooked. The sides are also great! My granddaughter wanted to eat here on Sunday 5/19/24 what a mistake!! Place setting at our table were disgusting, hard food actually on both white plates! Silverware was apparently washed the same way and the cloth napkins gross hard crusty food on them. We had to ask for clean settings. We got rhem but server left dirty settings on edge of our small rable.....We ordered the bites appetizer and mac and cheese off kids menu....the bites hah 4 very small pieces of dried buffalo chi ken, 3 jalapeño poppers and 3 mozzarella stcks....kids mac & cheese came cold in the middle but was put in a scalding white bowl! I had to dunp it into a plate and stir it to make it warm...thank goodness my granddaughter has been taught to always let us know if there is something she sees wrong. Won't go back not worth it. My family and I love Longhorns the food is always good and the drinks aren't terrible and the service isn't typically bad. We went in tonight 7/2 around 7, we had a male server (taller guy). I don't think he mentioned his name. My fiancé ordered the perfect margarita (we have ordered this in the past) it was not good at all this time around. There was no tequila it tasted like watered down sour mix. My son ordered a shirley temple which when it came out it was basically just sprite we asked our server if he could add some more grenadine he then proceeded to say "sure I can add a healthy splash to that" he then comes back with the drink hands it to my 8 year old and says " here you go, now if that isn't enough I can go pour half of the grenadine bottle in there." I'm sorry but that is extremely rude, how about you keep your comments to yourself and just get us what we kindly asked you for. We ordered a side of the corn on the cob for my son, it was a very sad looking corn on the cob to say the least. We then ordered the stawberries and cream shortcake, it came out and it was just a piece of shortcake with stawberries there was no stawberry sauce which was extremely dry without the sauce, we mentioned it to our server and he takes it from us and says to us " let me go make it more fancy for you" it wasn't about making anything fancy it was about getting what was suppose to come with the dessert.
