Five Guys has great cheeseburgers no doubt about it . I have been to many all over the east coast . We went there yesterday and had two cheeseburgers . They were delicious . Now for the bad part . The place was so dirty I could not believe it . The main room was dirty then I used the bathroom It was disgusting . The door was even dirty. I think others would see it like I did . When I first got there the front door was nasty . If I had not been starving I would have left right then and there . They need to get their place cleaned up . I would not go back there ever again. . The first time I went here was a very bad experience. The staffs are obnoxiously noisy and loud (could be their tactic to keep the customers curious) but if the cashier will talk over their loud conversation for the orders being placed, it's not cute at all. Then my burger was greasy, the grease just coat on the wrapper :-( , needless to say I still ate half of it, why not? I paid for it. Fries are fries nothing fancy. The condiments are ok. Maybe if they pay attention more in their product instead of having a loud conversation it'll be better, maybe the manager can tell them to keep the conversation low. This was legit 5 customer service. 12/19/19 I called for pick up around 6: 15 and I was right up in the Heights. I was told seven minutes and I personally who worked in restaurants on a Thursday night before that I was gonna be busy. I asked the cashier that I'll pay for a fresh order of fries. We all know fries shelf life cooked is 10 total mins from pulled out of fryers. The cashier came back Nd said we got the small fries. I placed a large order! Two family feasts (8 half sandwiches), two half were supposed to have Avocado. And a separate order for 2 whole sandwiches so we would have a total of 12 half sandwiches. When we got to our destination, we had a total of 10 halves instead of 12. I called them back and the manager insisted we had the right amount! We counted them several times! I have given them a few different chances over the last year, but I'm done at this point. I love five guys they usually have great food. The last few times coming here my burger come incorrect one way or another(1 time missing onions, several times missing the bbq sauce, 1 time no bacon...). Also the last 3 times I have been there they have been out of the strawberry shake (one of the main reasons I go here). I love it here! I've never had a bad burger, fries, milkshake, or soda (I love that they have those fancy new soda machines that have like a million kinds of diet), and the service and attitude of everyone working there had always been top notch every time I go. I'm not eating carbs these days, so they give me my burger in a container with all the toppings and a fork and knife. And don't even get me started on the toppings. That's a large part of what makes this place so awesome. You just can't get a burger like this anywhere... You can't go to Burger King and order a double burger with such a variety. And of course I always steal some fries from the kids. The milkshakes are amazing and I miss them something awful. They're always busy, but I'm lucky I've never had to wait in a long line. The thing that this chain has going for it is it uses high quality ingredients. Unfortunately the flavor is so underwhelming, It seems they add no seasoning to their patties which is cool if you're trying to watch your sodium but it made me sad. The cajun fries are kind of a disaster, I thought there would be a little more to them other than just fries in a crap load of chilli powder. Again, a high quality fry, just executed wrong. It's very strange that I would rub some random, small-minded guy the wrong way when I am strictly only ever there for business purposes. Every time i order food from here its amazingly delicious and always fresh! I order a few times almost every week, there are always 100% consistent 100% of the time! They tell me how long, and it is always within a couple min of that stated time, i love this place! Its hard not to mention the cleanliness, as this place stands for just that reason... always clean and always fresh, yuuuuuup! I like how they dont put your fries down in the fryolator until i get there, keeping me happy with a full satisfied belly. I wasn't made to feel like a nuisance coming in near close. And I was here because they DID stay open until 10. Good, quick burgers, fries and drinks. $25 for two gets you full and back on the road quickly. The burgers taste more like fast food burgers then home-grilled, but compared to other burger places, you get a lot more burger!
