Honestly, all these bad reviews are fake? I ordered some and it taste normal? Good old normal chicken. I don't get why it gets 0 stars?

I did a mobile order it takes me about 15 minutes to get to KFC from my home when I got there my app told me my order was ready went in waited 15 minutes. No one said anything to me other than gave me my drinks. Finally, I asked why my food wasn't ready and the young man just looked at me like he didn't know what i was talking about and then said I'll go check and come back and said the chicken was cooking. That's all he said in the meantime, an older man came in, stood at the counter and waited to be waited on and the young man at the counter completely ignored him and just stood there wrapping silverware with condiments and setting them aside never said anything to the man then a young Hispanic man walked in, walked right up to the counter, and he waited on him right away and they were talking in Spanish together and he ordered and he had his food within two minutes and then he never took the other man's order just ignored him so he finally left. I asked again where my food was. Someone came out and said it was gonna be nine minutes. The chicken was still cooking at this point. It's been 45 minutes since I placed my mobile order waited another 15 minutes before my food finally came out they knew I was very upset. They tried to offer me two more drinks. I told them I didn't need any more drinks. All I needed was the two that I had that they needed to compensate me by maybe giving me a couple extra sides and they just looked at me like I was stupid and I asked to see a manager, and they just stood there looking at me. I don't know what they were doing, but I finally just left. What a ridiculous experience. read more

I'll give my lunch 1 star and that's only because of the nice girl at the drive thru. Food was awful. I ordered a 12 piece family meal, half grilled half extra crispy. The "drumstick" if that's what u want to call it, was the size of a little buffalo wing. As well as being totally dried out. We don't ever go to KFC and now I know why. I would like to take this time share my Sunday 8/18, experience at KFC, 695 Atlanta Road, Cumming. KFC Restaurant #G135078, Ticket 3145, Cashier: Jose Torres, meal totaling $82.32 We ordered 2 family bucket meals with sides and drinks with other misc individual meals for 11 of us. Everything was going normally until after receiving the meals at the counter, we asked for 11 plates and utensils for our party. A female worker (not Ms. Torres) placed 7 plates on the counter and mentioned, "this is all we have". Me, looking at the prep area, I saw a stack of plates. I let her know we have a large group of 11. The lady said that stack is all we have in the store for the rest of the day. How are we to eat mashed potatoes and coleslaw on napkins? Ms Torres handed me the other plates. A male service worker shared his opinion, "you are not entitled to utensils and we don't have to give them to you." After we spending $82 worth of fast food, is that the new norm? And the food was just standard KFC quality. I did not get upset with the interaction but, I also wasn't surprised. I just won't frequent that restaurant and I now have a sore spot with KFC as a restaurant chain. For any front line service workers reading this, snide attitude and condescending remarks shall not provide job security. I do understand workers may not be having a good day, but is that an excuse to talk "condescendingly" for something so simple? The shift manager, could have gone to Kroger. They have cheap paper plates if supply deliveries didn't make it to inventory and request for purchase reimbursement as business expense would have been optimal. So therefore, I shall share this restaurant interaction with TripAdvisor, Yelp, Google, Facebook, NextDoor, KFC Corp, and whatever other media I will be able to post to for everyone's information. 0 STARS! I will start by saying! I will never eat at this location again! Honestly the only reason I have continued to go to this location was due to the very friendly girl who is normally in drive thru. I went to the store early Saturday morning around the time of opening. I placed an order thru the app, then proceeded to the drive-thru. I reached the drive thru and stated I was picking up an order for myself. The employee responded immediately by saying I have no orders! I did not respond just to allow him to recheck because I knew I had just placed the order. About 10 seconds later he says oh I just got the order about 2 seconds ago. I immediately asked the employee are you able to switch my French fries for Mac and cheese. Because the app did not allow me to sub them. I get substitutes all the time and it has NEVER been an issue. the employee immediately says Nope! Can't do it! I said excuse me? I've gotten plenty of substitutions before and it's never been an issue. The employee responded by saying "No you haven't not at this location, I'm not doing it!" I immediately drove around to the front of the store because I wanted to go inside and speak with the nice young lady I often deal with or even the manager. I got to the door and the door was locked so I knocked on the door. The employee who was speaking to me in Drive thru comes to the door and states the inside is not open because he's the only one inside. the entire interaction was very rude and aggressive. I want to say this employee's name was jose or something of that nature. He's a Hispanic individual. I responded to him by saying why would I not be able to switch an item for another item. He responds by saying if that was allowed don't you think it would be an option on the app. and if you could have make and cheese why would the meal be $5. I was in shock and totally confused by that statement. I responded by saying the way your speaking is very rude! and even if it was not allowed you could've given me options like a possible up charge or even pay for an extra side of mac and cheese. But for him to just refuse what I'm requesting was rude! and his attitude was rude! I told him to just forget it and I will be back thru drive thru to pick up my order. As I walked to my car the employee calls me a Stupid Spoiled Brat! I immediately turned around and put my finger directly in his face and told him if he EVER speaks to me In such a manner he would get beat up over some Mac and cheese! My husband had to get out of car to intervene once he heard what the employee said because I was about to take his head off over the disrespect! And I'm very Pregnant so my hormones are through the roof! I have NEVER experienced anything like this at any restaurant let alone a fast food place. I called corporate and put in a case so further action could be taken.But after reading the reviews I doubt anything will happen to this employee. He's been a liability and probably will continue to be one wherever he is. p.s. if you don't like where you work find a new job! I don't care what you have going on personally or what your dealing with you don't take your issues out on others. Treat people the way you want to be treated or Better! Very friendly service. Good quality has always been good. During the period when the dining room has been closed, mobile orders have to wait in drive thru lone to pick up the food. The line is very long negating any benefit of mobile ordering as you have to wait the same amount of time to pick up your order. There has to be a better way. read more

Went through the drive through for wings. I was told that there would be a twelve minute wait for wings...I said ok, paid and parked. I set my timer because I like to see how they actually do. I waited twenty minutes when my wings were brought out. I told the KFC employee that it took longer than expected. He said "excuse me?" in the how dare you speak to me that way tone. I repeated myself, and he told me that it wasn't true since the wings just got done. So apparently twenty minutes is less time than twelve minutes. read more

I've come here and had 4 delicious Double Downs in 3 days. Worst restaurant in Georgia. It took 15 minutes to receive my food from the time I placed my order which is not the bad part. The lady got my order wrong 3 times so obviously there was some confusion. When they finally gave me my chicken little meal combo, one was just 3 pieces of bread and no chicken. The second one had frozen bread and the whole sandwich looked like it was dunked in hot sauce. When I pull back up to the restaurant to talk to the manager (Jose) he runs to the front door and locks it. I asked him how come there was no chicken on my sandwich and he told me to get back in the drive thru line and slammed the front door closed and locked it. So I drive around the building to where you pick up your food and knocked on the window because I'm not waiting in line again. When I show him the sandwich he snatches them out my hand and slams the window on me. He said he will make another one. I said I just want a refund. He was very rude and handled the situation the total opposite of what a manager is supposed. I've emailed corporate and am waiting a response. I have a video of the whole encounter at the window. Clean, well lit and well managed KFC. Service was a friendly and agreeable. Chicken was served hot and original recipe did not disappoint. Excellent gravy was generously slathered upon hot tasty mashed potatoes. For a fast food chicken joint they are pushing all the right buttons. The biscuits here are light and delicious. read more

My kids and I were hungry on a Friday night, so we went through the drive thru here to get a bucket of original recipe. It was around 8:30pm. They told me they had only four pieces of chicken left in the restaurant, not eight like I wanted. They weren't clear as to whether they were completely out of chicken, or if they had more chicken but just didn't want to cook any more that evening. This KFC has been in town for a long time now, but I think it has run its course. My most recent experience sums it up for me. Only two tables inside, so they weren't busy. My food tasted like it was clearly heated up. Chewy chicken and soggy breading. Every table was dirty. Smelled funky. Two kids were running around, apparently belonging to one of the employees. The smallest one filled her cup up with every option on the fountain, then poured them out. I'm blown away this place has survived. It's gotten to where I only go there when I want to be alone. I know it will never be crowded. I like KFC, but this has to be one of the worst examples of one I've ever seen. read more

It has to be management as I have had good product a timer to hear but the latest round was poor management and us server and could not speak English very well and must've repeated my order back 10 times and still got it wrong. Worst fast food employees, and longest line. Found a hair in my food we asked for fries with every order and they didn't give us anything.

I went yesterday and I was a little ticked because there was a national campaign for free grilled chicken samples but I soon found out this KFC was "not participating". So I bought one anyway. They gave it to me and while I was waiting for the drink and I took a look at it, it had skin on it and it looked very disgusting, like it was undercooked. I asked the lady if this was the grilled and she said yes and I asked about the skin and she said there should not be any on it. So I gave it back and asked if they could get me another one. Then another lady came to the window and said the grilled chicken does have skin. So I asked for my money back. Why? Well, I'm on Weight Watchers right now and I'd been a good little WW girl and checked online before I went. A chicken breast with skin is 5 points on WW. The nutritional information on the KFC website puts their breast at 4 points. Without skin that would be possible. With skin, no. I might have tried it anyway but honestly, that chicken breast looked nothing like the one in the commercials which appears to have a ton of seasoning on it. This one was white and wet looking - really very gross. Now, some of my friends (two men, a woman and two boys) have tried the grilled and love it so I'm sure it rocks at some KFC locations and I will try it again one day. But the stuff they were serving at this location looked undercooked, had skin, and wasn't free and then I got a 'tude! LOL! Good thing I got a good night's sleep last night and I'm back to my happy self! (P.S. That second lady that told me the skin was supposed to be on the breast was mean. But she did give me my money back with no questions asked which was good. This will be short and not sweet. I went to The Atlanta Road KFC Cumming last night to pick up some chicken, mashed potatoes and a biscuit for my husband and myself. We rarely eat fried food so this was to be a little treat for us. We have eaten KFC through the years and had always found the chicken to be plump, well coated and nicely fried... delicious! Until last night, I had not had a problem walking in to any KFC and leaving with a satisfactory meal. Sadly, the four pieces of dark meat, original recipe, were small, over fried and dry. The mashed potatoes were watery and did not taste like anything like potato. Even the one biscuit seemed to be downsized. We have gotten food to go at this location in the past without a problem, however, if last night is the new norm, we for sure will not return. STICK WITH WHAT YOU KNOW Okay, I love grilled wings and I always purchase them from one location, (State Bridge Rd). The service is predictable, restaurant is clean and my order is always accurate. Very predictable. Tonight, I happen to be in Cumming and have never eaten at this location but decided to give it a try. FAIL! First of all, the bathroom was filthy and I mean every single surface. I simply washed my hands and let them know immediately. When I looked around the restaurant, I noticed that it wasn't as clean as my location and it had a weird odor, (like an old building that needed to be gutted and scrubbed). When our order was delivered, my husband's breast was fresh and perfectly cooked. Although my wings were fresh, they were not cooked to my liking and what I am accustomed to. I like them brown and crispy, no soft skin. While the employees here were very friendly, I still cannot give them more than two stars because they just did not deliver. When you are dealing with an eating establishment CLEAN matters. Although, an employee went to address the bathroom situation, I noticed that he did so empty-handed. Where was the broom, mop, cleaner, pine-sol etc?. This bathroom would have taken at least 30 minutes to clean but he was out in 5 giving me the thumbs up. No thanks. Not recommended. read more

Ours shoes would make noise because the floors were gross. The tables were all dirty. Nobody wiped them down ever. We cleaned our own table with napkins. The bathroom was dirty too. Went to this KFC location during lunch today to get a simple Smokey BBQ Chicken combo... what a mistake with what would have been a much better choice right next door in a Chick-fil-a. The chicken was over breaded... over cooked... was supposed to have been tossed in BBQ but had almost none on it (a little dollop appears to have hit the side as it was headed out the door)... pickles and sandwich spread everywhere BUT ON THE SANDWICH. I had to pull over just to reassemble it so I could eat it. Horrid to say the least. The potato wedges were tasty but there were only about five and the Dr. Pepper was watery.
