I'm not gonna spend too much time on this review, because I'm sure my complaint is cliche for most customers. I will say this review should be posted just so customers are aware of this place and how it's run. I went there yesterday to order three twisters. One of the twisters that I ordered for my son had a long string of hair in it. I went back to ask for a redo. The lady whose name I believe was Brenda was working drive thru, took back my twister and as she turned to her co-worker had this smirk on her face like my request was a joke! Food quality has been very inconsistent in the Diamond Bar KFC north of Sunset Crossing Rd. On this visit on Friday, Jan 30, 2026, we were unable to order inside because orders were only processed with the kiosk; they don't use a cashier except for the drive-thru. We left and won't ever go back to the Diamond Bar KFC--terrible customer service. We drove to the KFC on Arrow Highway in San Dimas, where the staff cares, and the food is always very good. We ordered with a live cashier and paid with cash. San Dimas even had unsweetened iced tea. Excellent experience. PepsiCo corporate and Yum Foods should be notified about the franchised Diamond Bar store. It would be best to close it. The building would make a nice coffee shop under new owners. read more

Rather than offering to replace the unavailable items, she demanded we contact support for a refund because it wasnt her problem. Her answers were short and unbothered, simply "no" to all our questions. Her attitude was unnecessary and rude throughout the whole experience from the beginning. Been to this location several times; KFC is like that distant cousin that you only see once in a while, but you know for sure you will definitely see them. I probably come here at least 2-3 times a year nowadays. First of all, the Original Recipe is still one of the best fried chicken flavors in the competitive market of existing and upcoming chicken spots. The one thing that is unlike the chicken I tasted years ago is the quality. Sometimes it's cooked perfect, sometimes not so much. Just don't go here.. i read the reviews and it's plainly obvious Ownership and Management could obviously care less. I have stopped here over the years driving through ... used to live around the corner though, a few years ago. This stop floored me. The quality of the chicken was pretty poor, fries decent .... but here was the kicker. In all my years at any KFC, i could change from Mashed to fries ... without even thinking twice.... never an issue. Today, i was charged $0.50 extra for the purpose of changing the order, not for any additional cost for one versus the other. The drive up window person told me the computer does all the computing, nothing she could do to eliminate a "change Charge". If this isn't greed and stupidity i don't know what is. I have been ordering from this place for more than 25 years i think and now, this was my last time. Went there to pick up dinnet dinnerr. I typically don't like drive through so I went inside. Me another guy walk up to the register to order and the lady points us to a kiosk. I ask her, so you won't take my order? She replies no, I only take drive though orders. Then with a bit of attitude says unless you want to wait. We both went to the kiosk to place our orders. Upon placing mine I asked her again about taking orders and she says it's a lot faster using the kiosk. I point to the other guy fumbling through his order and ask her does it look faster?? I don't understand how people who refuse to get out of their car will receive better service than those of us who get out. Upon arrival for mobile order pickup, was immediately told to wait for 15 mins as "all food is gone" and they need time to prepare. Checked after 15 mins and was told nothing is ready yet but witnessed 3-4 groups of people come and go with their orders. After 40 mins of waiting, complained to the employee nearby (manager who told us to wait was chatting on the phone) and he stepped in to prepare our order on the spot. Nobody cared nor apologized for the delay... and even the order got mixed up (not dark meat and the sauces were wrong). This was the worst experience I ever had, and I am beyond disappointed at Yum brands for such poor customer service. read more

Some of the older reviews I've seen have complained about the chicken being dry, but as far as my recent experience (two days ago) the chicken was pretty juicy, and the skin was perfectly crisp. My personal favorite on their menu is their Nashville hot chicken. It's definitely no howlin' rays, but it still is pretty good quality for a KFC. The slightly spicy, almost hot Cheetos-like skin, complemented by the juiciness of the chicken, provided a delicious assortment of flavors that I wouldn't really expect from KFC usually. Can't go wrong with the crispy KFC chicken, sides of sweet corn, mashed potatoes, & coleslaw. The dark meat chicken is always tender and juicy; the white meat tends to be more dry.
