    Loaded Tender Fries buffalo chicken
    Stephanie F.

I always come here whenever I feel like getting fried chicken. And I always get their loaded tender fries. It's very delicious, as I chose the buffalo sauce flavor, and the coleslaw that comes with it is even more delicious. The inside of the restaurant is modern, with posters, a few TVs to watch, and games in progress. The servers are always on top of keeping the inside clean. The food takes a while to cook, but that means it's very fresh. I hope they can get more workers to help speed things up, but other than that, I recommend it.

We come here often because the chicken is always delicious. The chicken tenders are juicy, the pieces are very large, and both the drumsticks and wings are always fresh and flavorful. It's one of our family's favorite chicken spots. Yesterday we ordered takeout while watching the World Cup. We ordered 5 drumsticks and 12 wings. When my teenage daughter picked up the order, the staff told her they were short 2 wings and would replace them with fries. When I heard that, I was a little disappointed. I appreciate the extra fries, but I wish they had replaced the missing wings with another piece of chicken instead. We ate all the chicken, but no one ate the fries, so they ended up going to waste. We'll definitely keep coming back because we really enjoy the food. I just hope that if you're ever short on a certain chicken piece in the future, you could substitute it with another piece of chicken instead of fries. Thank you!

We were teaching a group at a local high school and we were looking for some good food for dinner. We found this and it was rated really well online. It's a Mom pop shop with the family working every role in the restaurant. They had a bunch of to go orders lined up, and plenty of people in there. You can tell they were making each order fresh and to order. We all got different things from combination chicken rice bowls to the tender meals. The food took a while, but you can tell the girl working at the counter was doing her best given the amount of orders and the speed with which the food was coming out. My food was the last to come out, and it had been sitting on the counter for a while, and she forgot to bring it to the table. The tenders were a little soggy due to sitting in the box and steaming, but the overall flavor of the sauce and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Definitely a place to give a second try.

    99 cent beers!

99 cent beer (most order food, 15 max per table, domestic only) is a steal for beer. Fried chicken Chicken was pretty good. Chicken tender was very juicy and huge. Friendly worker. Only complaint is that it was hot inside Goin to be part of our regular rotation

My community service organization had one of our monthly meetings here on a Wednesday, so I got to try a couple of things by splitting with a friend. My waffle loving self can't pass up any waffle menu items, so getting Combo #6 with waffle and 2 drumsticks ($16.88) was a must! Got the drumsticks with original flavor and the combo also comes with cajun fries and a fountain drink. Waffle was crisp and the drumsticks were crisp and juicy. Their self serve fountain machine was Pepsi-based. I split the 10 piece legend tenders ($23.88) with friend. Got the half (5 pc) and half (5 pc) with mild and honey bee. Heads up that the honey bee flavor is a bit spicy so I ended up eating more of that as my friend found it too spicy for him. Great breading and flavor for both! Good amount of indoor seating. Our group took up two tables comfortably. Lots of parking in the plaza, so pretty easy to get a spot.

I had this location months ago and tried the Nashville combo #1 with the Sando. My impression was it was overall decent quality but slightly overpriced. I would have gave it a 3.5/5 on yelp if that was possible. This time around, I went with a group of 4 and we decided to order the Korean fried chicken side and tried the Family #1, which for $60.88 comes with Whole chicken (H/H), 5 pieces drumsticks (choose 1 flavor), spicy rice cake, French fries, 1 drink or 1 beer. We dined in and waited around 20-30 minutes total to get all our food, which also came with various sauces and radishes. The wait was worth as the food tasted made to order. All the chicken parts were hot, juicy, and delicious. The drumsticks in particular were massive and packed with umami. We got the hot soy, original crispy, and lemon pepper for our flavors. All 3 were great but lemon pepper stood out the most in my opinion. Additionally, the fries were well seasoned, fluffy, and has a nice crisp. The rice cakes were too soft for my preferences but still solid and had me sweating a little. The 1 drink we got was a single cup to share. It was a little silly to share among 4 people but doable. We came in hungry, and yet we left the restaurant with leftovers. The portion sizes were impressive, and in combination with the quality the price was more than justified. I'm bumping this location to a 5 star due to how impressed I was with the Korean side of the menu.

Been here several times now and it happens to be our favorite Korean chicken place. First, let's start off with the wings and tenders. We've tried several flavors already, and one thing is for certain, the food is consistently flavorful and delicious. It comes out super hot, right out the fryer with a good crisp and juicy inside. The regular fries always have a nice crisp and the inside is nice and soft. No soggy looking fries here. Finally, their sweet potato fries are sooo good. Crispy, soft, with a hint of sweetness to hit the spot. You can't miss with any of their food. Service is quick and staff is friendly. Inside, there are about 10 tables with a TV which plays some pop videos. Overall good vibe, good service, and great food.

Kokio is back with a vengeance! I'm glad that they've decided to revert their course back to Fried Chicken (what they're really good at) from the temporary soup & pocha venture. Didn't expect much as I was one of the regulars who were disappointed towards the end of Kokio's journey, but the fried chicken from LH Chicken we recently had reminded us of the early days of Kokio with perfectly balanced taste, looks and portion. Hope they continue to keep it as such this time around!

So fresh and tasty as usual!! A must try!! We get it takeout and when we get home it's still so crispy and flavorful!!

Since my first visit to Legend Hot Chicken last year, I've been a big fan of the chicken joint. The spot gives off humble, family-owned establishment with the most underrated chicken. We feasted on the tender combo, sandwich combo, drumsticks, wings, and kimchi fried rice. Everything was fresh and delicious! Special shoutout to the drumsticks for being HUMONGOUS and so tender and juicy. The owner was super kind and server was attentive! Lots of customers too!

We placed the order at the self-service kiosk. We considered ordering their fried chicken wings but they were all sold out, so we ordered their popcorn chicken ($7.50), chicken strips (6 pcs) for $7, and Garlic Parmesan Fries ($6.95) for dine-in. We picked White Garlic Alioli sauce for the popcorn chicken and Chicciety sauce for the Chicken Strips and Fries. It took a bit long for them to make our order even though we were the 2nd order in line. We waited about 15 minutes before we got our order. The portions were big. The Garlic Parmesan Fries were delicious and flavorful but you better chew gum after eating them because it has a strong garlic flavor. The Chicken strips were huge! They were big and long strips. The chicken meat was tender, but the crust outside was too crunchy and greasy. We like the Chicciety sauce though. The popcorn chicken was also cut into big pieces and the flavor was spicy. We would rather have the Taiwanese popcorn chicken than this one though. Overall, it was okay but we were not impressed either. We've had better Taiwanese and Korean Fried Chicken though. I hope they can improve the speed of the orders.

I ordered the original chicken sandwich ($8.45) and made it into a combo (+$6.00). There are 0 descriptions for the sandwich, but you do get your choice of breast or thigh meat and your level of spice. The enormous chicken patty comes sandwiched between two soft buns alongside some slaw and pickles. The chicken is delicious - the batter is light and crispy and the meat is so moist. The slaw is the perfect complement to the fried chicken patty. - It adds a cooling effect to the spiciness. I also shared an order of their chicken strips ($7). Wow, for $7, you get a really generous portion of chicken tenders (I counted 7 in my order). The chicken tenders are the same as the patty: good batter, tender meat. They're not as thick, but I'm okay with that. You also get your choice of a dipping sauce. I chose the Chicciety sauce which is a lot like the Chick-fil-A sauce. I also went ahead and ordered all of the sauces for an additional $.50 per sauce. Of these, the white garlic aioli and creamy cucumber wasabi were terrific. Everything else was pretty standard. Chicciety is worth checking out if you like chicken sandwiches. I'll be back to try their wings.

I've been to this location before but my recent purchase at this establishment left me disappointed and wanting to go to a different location. We ordered a large order of chicken and sides via mobile order since I was treating friends for helping me out. When we arrived at the pick up time, the store was packed and had a ton of customers waiting, around 4-5 other orders including us. It was also hot inside as I think the air conditioning was broken or there was way too many people packed into the small establishment. We arrived early and luckily had an early enough pick-up time that we waited around 10 mins for the lady at the counter to bring the food out, ~5 mins after the expected pick up time. A lot of customers were angry that day though as I noticed their pick up time said ready but their food wasn't out. There was also no one at the counter for a long amount of time as I think they were low on staff back of house. When we drove back to our location to eat (5 mins drive), we were disappointed that we were missing one of our sides of cheesing fries ($8). We were on a deadline so it would've been a waste of time to drive back and they were way too busy to call to complain so I lost out on both the food and money which I was a little upset about. The soy garlic chicken was solid and good. A nice balance of sweet and tangy. The hot and spicy wings were alright. The flavor wasn't bad but it didn't suit my tastes. These two were both a little soggy which was alright as we did take out and had a short drive but I was a little surprised as it hadn't ever happened to me before at the Temple City location and the drive was about the same. The golden chicken was personally the worst one. Although it looked crispy, the chicken skin was soggy. I wasn't a big fan of boneless chicken already but it made it taste especially bad. This was the second most disappointing part as we ordered two portions as my friend mentioned he really liked the original chicken. The rose ttebokki was one of the most surprising parts as it tasted savory and creamy. I liked the multi-layered taste of it. I do wish the establishment provided utensils as it was difficult to ask since they were so packed. Overall, the food was just alright and I personally would just stick to my own local spot near me. Not sure if it was just this day that the poor staff were overworked but it definitely affected my and many other's experience. Will not be coming back to this location any time soon. :(

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Do not waste your time or money here…read more The moment we walked into Fu's Restaurant, it felt like stepping into a sauna. It was 79 degrees inside, muggy, humid, and completely uncomfortable. We almost turned around and left immediately. The place was practically empty, which honestly should have been our first red flag. We decided to give them a chance anyway. Big mistake. My colleague and I were offered water or hot tea. We both ordered hot tea. The menu clearly says in English that hot tea is $2.99. Nowhere does it clearly explain in English that you will be charged differently depending on how many people drink it. When the bill came, we were charged $5 each. Apparently, there is some clarification written in Chinese, but how are customers who do not read Chinese supposed to know that? That is completely misleading. The tea portions were not larger, not special, nothing different. Just basic tea. The pricing felt deceptive. We also ordered popcorn chicken and chili wonton soup. Both came out in tiny portions that looked like appetizers, yet the menu does not clearly label them as such. For what we received, paying over $30 total felt ridiculous. The food itself was mediocre at best. Nothing memorable and definitely not worth the price. Because of the uncomfortable temperature, confusing pricing, small portions, and average food, we chose not to leave a tip. As we were walking out, the waiter chased us outside and pressured us about the zero tip. That is completely inappropriate. Tipping is not mandatory. It is earned. Confronting customers outside over a tip is unprofessional and embarrassing. Between the heat, the questionable menu pricing, the small portions, and being confronted outside, this was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time. We will never be back.
