My Spicy Chicken Sandwich was good; my daughter's Chicken Nuggets were even better. The girl who took our order spoke so quietly as to be quite hard to understand. The restaurant had a bucket set up to catch water dripping from the ceiling, and quite a few ceiling tiles were discolored. The men's bathroom had a bunch of wall tiles busted out. I placed and paid for my order in the app. I got a confirmation email thanking me for my order. I got another email telling me my order was ready. I got an email receipt as well. Ventured out in sub zero weather to pick up order. Arrived at the designated time for pick up. Was told through the ordering speaker the the restaurant was closed. She also said I would have to call somewhere else to get my money back. WTF. I don't know how the owners can be aware of such a poor performing restaurant without taking some sort of action to correct. There's lots of competition nowadays - Popeye's, Cane's and of course the rascals over at Chick-Fil-A. KFC has the food to stay in the game, but dammit, they have to do something about the south College (Fort Collins) branch. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! If you want dinner by a certain time, make sure you come to this KFC at least an hour before you want to eat. They are the slowest fast food (fast food, what a joke). First, there was a large line, then when I ordered, still a large line. When I get to the window, it takes 5 minutes for them to open the window for me to pay. Went to the Loveland Co. KFC on Dec. 28 2022 to pick up a 16 piece bucket. The ads in the windows had a special going on of 6 free cookies with the 16 piece bucket. I had written my order down at home before heading over and when ordering I just gave the employee my note which said original recipe, variety pack, and all the sides I wanted. The employee looked dumbfounded but did not ask me any questions. While waiting for our order another customer who was eating there had to go back up to the counter because his order was messed up! I told my wife we need to check our order before leaving because we had 4 adults and 4 grandkids waiting for us at home which is 13 miles one way from KFC. When we got to the car and checked all of the sides were ok but no cookies so I went back in and they said that was a promotion that had ended so i asked why they had not taking the signs in the window down and they said they just hadn't gotten around to it. My mistake not to check the chicken but it was in the sealed box and I didn't think the kid could mess that up! Wrong, it was all chicken tenders extra crispy which we did not want or order and the party only ate about 7 pieces. Instead of calling KFC back and fighting with them I just decided to call corporate. They totally understood and sent me out a voucher to use with my next purchase which was very fair! I guess the purpose of this review is that stuff happens and the quality of the work force out there leaves a lot to be desired. I would hate to have to deal with some but not all of there employees on a daily basis! So next time before you get mad at KFC corporate you should do what I did and call them and see if you can work something out it turned out great for me. After approx 5 min, I start asking if anyone is there. Someone responds that the store is super busy and they are extremely understaffed, it will be at least a 5-10 min wait time.
