Krazy Karl's is my family's favorite place to get pizza in Fort Collins. We've been to the Fort Collins location several times, tried the Loveland location once, and getting a slice from their stand has basically become part of going to CSU women's basketball games for us. The food is consistently great. Our go-to is the mushroom and pepperoni pizza, but we also really like the meatballs and fried pickles. Honestly, everything we've ordered has been better than average, and the quality stays consistent even when they're extremely busy. The prices aren't necessarily the cheapest around, but they feel right for the quality of food you're getting. I've never walked away feeling like we overpaid. The Fort Collins restaurant is clean and has a typical casual pizza bar atmosphere with TVs. It is a smaller space, though, so when it gets busy it can start feeling pretty crowded. Service is probably the one area where I think there's room for improvement. It can be a little hit or miss, particularly when they get really busy. Sometimes it feels like the restaurant isn't quite prepared for the amount of customers coming in and the staff can struggle to keep up. That said, the employees have always been professional and we generally don't wait an unreasonable amount of time. We've only had one exceptionally long wait, and they were very obviously slammed that day, so it was understandable. I think some additional support from management during those busy periods could make a big difference and help things run a little more smoothly. Even with that criticism, we keep coming back because the food is worth it. The pizza is consistently good regardless of how busy they are, the employees have always treated us professionally, and it remains my favorite pizza place in town. read more

We tried the Double Pepperoni Garlic pizza, the Bavarian Churro, and the Mac & Cheese Bites. The pizza was good and definitely hit the spot, and I'm glad we got the sides and dessert as part of a deal because they're pretty pricey on their own. Overall, everything was satisfying, but nothing really stood out enough to make it a must-visit the next time I'm in Fort Collins. Solid food if you're in the mood to treat yourself, but probably more of an occasional splurge than a regular stop. read more

Their pizza was absolutely delicious. My cousin got The Works pizza, I ordered The White pizza, held the artichokes and added chicken and bacon, and we ordered the littles a cheese pizza. They were very generous with the chicken and bacon they added on. Everything was super good and their spicy ranch was pretty spicy and good flavor. Our service was a little on the slow side on my opinion. There was only us and one other table and she never did check on us and anytime we needed something, box, to go cups, check, etc, we had to go and ask for it ourselves. The overall vibe was nice, they had football on all the TV's and it wasn't too loud, we were able to carry a conversation easily. I would definitely go back the next time I come to visit my cousin. My family & I love Krazy Karls Pizza!!! They offer so many choices of pizza toppings, it's easy to find your favorite. My fave is the "Hot Honey Pepperoni." The salads are large, plentiful, with great tasting dressings, but everything we have tried in the last few years, has tasted great. My husband and my favorite on the menu is the Philly calzone grinders, made of super delicious yeast bread, and full of good stuff! The place can get pretty crowded, but the atmosphere is always a lot of fun. People come to have a good time! Even though the place stays pretty busy, Karls seems to have plenty of servers to take care of the customers. Most of them that we've had, do a great job, are friendly, helpful, and know the menu. An outdoor patio for nice weather is another plus. One thing, a ladies bathroom would be a very welcome addition, PLEASE!!! Keep up the good work Krazy Karls! read more

Call to see if they had pizza by the slice and they said yes over the phone from open till 2 PM. Visited the location at 12 PM and was told they do not do pizza by the slice. Communication needs to be thorough between all staff. read more

All my friends who like a thinner pizza think Karl's is great. It's not a New York cracker but more in the Domino's-Little Ceaser's type. I'm more into thicker pies, but this pizza IS pretty good. Esp if you are in for the Beat the Clock or various specials to keep price reasonable. For this I balance at 4 stars BUT... Now the bad: deduct a star (to 3) as the east side location is often loud and packed for dinnertime. If you come in away from dinner hours (around 5-8 pm) you will be better off. Early, you can relax, get the pie in reasonable time (without mistakes) and hear your partner talk. Later and the place is more mellow, and staff has cooled off. This place needs to be bigger AND have MUCH better sound suppression!!! IMPORTANT: the Campus West location is now CLOSED... and we are pissed! It was a good location, but for the impossible parking, service and the noise level were better at all times. The east side location is often a dinnertime madhouse. read more

It said an hour delivery time when I ordered and at the estimated delivery time I was notified my pizza had just left for delivery and the delivery time was increased by an hour. We ordered pizza for our family, not during their supposed "Beat The Clock" special time. It was by far the worst service I have ever seen from an establishment. Ignorant staff offering terrible excuses, trying to blame drivers for "not following their route". Stop giving "guesstimates" and offer realistic times. I can't believe it!! I found a place where a celiac can have a gluten free craft beer and gluten free pizza that tastes and feels and looks the way it's supposed to taste. This may be the only pizza place in town that truly cares about us Celiacs! I mean this because the garlic olive oil painted fluffy doughy crust with a flaky crunchy outside but not over baked was perfect in terms of texture and flavor. It reminded me of pizza I had years ago before Celiac. They obviously must make the gluten free dough here- it was definitely not frozen Udi's reheated. This was authentic and thoughtful. Wow. I'm so profoundly grateful. It's friendly and it's open late. It's down to earth! We felt comfortable and accommodated, in this mellow late night bar and pizza restaurant. The booths are even comfy! Got a pizza delivery for a Spinach pizza...olive oil garlic base, ricotta, pizza cheese, feta, tomatoes, and spinach. I omitted feta. Tasted ok. Obviously, it is a pre-made frozen dough/pizza crust. Toppings are pretty minimal. If you look hard, you will see tomatoes on it...minced. not much cheese. Spinach was fresh, not pre-cooked. Called the west Elizabeth number that I call every Thursday for the beat the clock special. They answer the phone and take my order- my total comes out to $7 more than normal- I ask the girl on the phone why it's more than normal and she says they raised their prices. Don't read my order back to me and was short with me on the phone. I show up at the west Elizabeth location to find out they are permanently closed. I then have to drive 40 minutes round trip out of the way to pick up my pizza at the timberline location. The person on the phone never told me my call got transferred to the timberline location- I never would have ordered if I knew that. Then find out that the reason my pizza was more was because they charged me for toppings on half my pizza that I didn't even order called when I got home after noticing to talk to them about this and I sat on hold for 10 minutes before giving up. This place is just disgusting... we ordered a 14 inch, half meat lovers and have pepperoni and peppers with pretzel bites... the pretzel bites were inedible, they have no seasoning , salt or butter on them and we couldn't even bite into them. The pizza quality is laughable, all the meat and toppings were charred yet the veggie consistency was almost raw. The toppings fell off the pizza before making it to your mouth, and the sauce here is literally pure tomato sauce with absolutely no seasoning. We ended up throwing everything away. While it was a damn greasy pizza, slowly eating the cardboard box, it was delicious! I don't think this is a good joint for basic pizzas... I think ordering their specialties is the way to go. Krazy Karl's Pizza in Campus West used to be my standard go-to for their Beat the Clock special and every single Pizza of the Week. When they opened one up down the street (within biking distance!) I knew it would become my new staple. This past Saturday night, we decided to celebrate Yelp's Big Night In with a pizza from one of our favorite spots. The bonus - Music City Hot Chicken had created a bunch of Nashville Hot tenders and they were putting out this unicorn of a pizza as the Pizza of the Week! I called my order in and paid over the phone, then drove over and parked out front. They were allowing fewer than four people in the pick-up area at a time, so I put on my mask, waited outside as another gentleman checked in, then went in and gave them my name. They asked what color and model of car I had, and I headed back out to wait for my curbside delivery. THIS PIZZA. I don't think there could be any more of a perfect combination. Spicy ranch base, piles of crispy Nashville Hot pieces, dollops of cream cheese and a hefty dose of green chiles. I salivated the entire way home, then we dove in after uploading tons of pictures of this beautiful and rare pizza to Instagram, making sure to use the #YelpsBigNightIn. I love pizza here! We would go here weekly for trivia and any time one of our favorites was the pizza of the week we would order. Their pizza of the week is one of the greatest way to taste new dish and save money. However, while the staff is super kind, the pizza is super tasty, and we love it I don't think we will be ordering again any time soon. The last few times we've ordered take out (we almost always pick up since it's so close) we order, show up when it says we should, and then have to wait for 15-20 min longer. It's not a huge deal but is annoying. These wait times are just getting outrageous and it show up on time and then have to wait another 35 min was awful. I would definitely recommend tasting their spicy ranch along with any pizza as it is unique in its own way. read more

The server made eye contact with us multiple times while hanging out in the back eating and going and waiting on multiple tables without coming back over to ours. My daughter spent a semester at CSU and really enjoyed having Krazy Karl's pizza. Her favorite was the 7 cheese pizza. On our last night there we ordered a couple of individual pizzas and a salad. The salad we got was just the basic dinner salad. We got it with ranch and it was great! She got the 7 cheese pizza, add bacon and loved it. I got the lasagna pizza and added mushrooms. I was tasty. I asked for extra sauce and there wasn't really extra sauce, so that was disappointing. Like everyone else said, it takes a while. I was surprised that our wait time was to be 80 minutes.
