I went to the Butler road location. We ordered the Original Honey BBQ sauce from the 90s. I can say it was not exact however, the chicken was juicy, fresh and the flavor was very good, nice smokey flavor. It was worth the price as the pieces were very large. I'm going to make a bold statement and say this is the worst fast food location of any kind that I'm aware of. I love A&W/KFC and honestly fast food in general. The last 6 times I have been to this location my simple order has been incorrect for one reason or another. And every time I return, the employees/manager roll their eyes, shake their head, and give me a hard time and complain to me that I always return. This past time though was the final straw. The burger meat tasted unlike anything I've ever tasted in my life - absolutely disgusting. I know it was the meat too because I took a bite out of each individual ingredient after my initial in an attempt to discern the origin of the foul taste. This time I didn't return though, and I won't ever again. I would rather drive an extra 15min to a different A&W/KFC just to avoid this specific location. They did redo the interior/exterior but it's just lipstick on a pig. The food is gross, people don't know what they're doing, and the bathrooms are locked. I had chili cheese fries, and it's the same chili/cheese you pump on your hot dog at 7-11. I know I'm not getting anything restaurant quality here, but it should at least beat a convenience store. Second, before the cashier asks anything else, they ask "for here or to go". We said for here but it was still packaged to go. Why even ask? The bathrooms are locked, and no one is ever up front. We had to wait a few minutes before anyone knew we were in the place. Fast food is you get what you get, but there are better/fresher options. When my child texted me at 7pm that she wanted mashed potatoes for dinner ( she's sick and this is a typical sick princess request), I was driving from Hillsboro towards Bethany. Now mashed potatoes is not an easy request. I could go to the store and buy them, go home and make them and honestly that'd be my preference if wasn't so late. But I was wiped. I did what apparently lots of people do. I hit the KFC drive thru. (Who else HAS mashed potatoes?) We are not fried chicken people. We are teriyaki, barbecue, rotisserie chicken people. I got a family pack with grilled chicken, biscuits, baked beans(a better choice than coleslaw or mac and cheese or corn or green beans or rice ) and the spuds. I wished for cornbread. They told me they only had one grilled chicken breast and asked if they could substitute a crunchy one. Ok fine. (We ended up with two crunchy pieces, hmm not as fine). I have to say the kids working were the most polite friendly worker bees id seen in a long time. They could teach their surly indifferent Carls Junior neighbors a thing or two. +1pt I liked the non styrofoam takeout containers. +1 pt. Princess liked her potatoes and gravy. +1pt. Beans were hard, not cooked long enough. This surprised me because I imagined they'd be canned. Biscuits were overbaked. Sigh. The chicken? We just dont like fried, ugh, and the grilled was so so. A whole costco rotisserie chicken is tastier and cheaper. Or getting a good chicken from a good source and cooking it oneself is even better. My final thoughts? I need a wife. read more

DO NOT EAT AT THIS KFC!!!! I placed an order on the mobile app. I realized I forgot an item so I ordered it when I arrived inside the restaurant. After I ordered, I grabbed my mobile order off the pick up shelf and stood aside waiting for my other order. The idiot woman behind the counter came up and asked to see my email confirmation for the pick up order I was holding; insinuating I had taken someone's order. I did not say a word to this idiot and chose to post my experience and to report this to their corporate. I spend quite a bit of money here and am appalled at how I was treated. First of all, two employees were talking to each other when i walked in. No one was attending the counter. i waited for five minutes, until one of the employee guys speaking to each other in Spanish, calls someone from the kitchen. The counter employee guy emerged & couldn't hear well when he took my order. Also, the employee guy that brought my food was also hard of hearing. That plexiglass they put up doesn't help with sound. It's ridiculous. Just have employees wear face shields as protection from customer's nose & mouth germs so they can hear people's orders. Finally...having eaten the food that i ordered, which was heavily salt-laden & poor in quality & taste, was definitely unhealthy. Worst experience ever, where do I begin. So I order through drive thru and the person on the other end seemed like he was having a tough time hearing me through their crappy intercom system. No matter. I ordered my meals 2 k12 boxes cool. When I got my order it was not what I ordered and both boxes didn't have the items it said it would have. They also did not give me a receipt so when I went inside to complain they refused to credit me for the mistake they made and accused me of lying to get more food from them than I paid for. Wife ordered food tonight from this location in the drive-thru since we had not had KFC in a while. Ordered a 12 piece with 3 sides and biscuits. There were several mistakes we noticed when we got home and started eating. First our 12 piece bucket only had 9 pieces in it. Secondly we didn't get the beans we wanted but got mashed potatoes instead. We also did not get any of the condiments for the biscuits like butter or honey packets. Overall not a great experience and we will go back to Popeyes for our fried chicken or Ezells. read more

I am a little disappointed in the famous fried chicken. Not so juicy and not so big. The sauce is too salty and sweet for me.

We wanted some good fried chicken for dinner so thought KFC would fill the bill. Boy were we wrong. We got a 3 piece combo original and a 3 piece Nashville hot strips combo. The chicken in both boxes had clearly overstayed its welcome under the heat lamps. The coating on the hot strips was stale and dry and the original was dried out and stale. I especially love that you can mix and match the side items. I like A&W - their fried cheese curds are my favorites!
