I picked up a chicken pot pie at the 1340 Noland Rd location, only to find when I got home that there was no chicken in it! It just had gravy and a few chunks of veggies, but not a single shred of chicken. When I call their hotline to complain, they offered to refund HALF of what I'd paid. I protested, and they had me call a different number and explain again. Then after several emails back and forth I was refused a refund. They said I could call again and start the whole process over. The food is okay, the service is okay, we've came to this location twice in the last few months and placed an order online, both times they haven't had any chicken sandwiches, so they said they would replace each sandwich with 4 tenders they only gave us 4 tenders. We got a free pot pie on the app and they don't have those either, but they replaced that with a kfc bowl so basically just never order online, or don't go to this location since they apparently have nothing. read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. The only thing that my husband asked for, for his birthday, was a bucket of chicken. Almost an hour after I went thru the drive thru and was parked, I walked out with food, just to get home and find out they did not get my order correct. The service is terrible, employees are rude, and they do not follow business hours..........Arrived at 8:05pm 55 minutes before closing and was told that no more chicken will be cooked tonight. This is absolutely the worst KFC ever! If it was possible, I would give them zero stars The last 3 times I have stopped by on three different occasions lately and left without anything each time. Will never stop there again the first time I went they told me it was going to be 30 to 40 minutes for chicken. Mind you this is a fast food chicken restaurant I can go home and make it in 30 to 40 minutes the second time I stopped in they were out of pot pies for the day. The food was actually good today which was a surprise, unfortunately they never get your order right...I suggest you stay in the drive thru till you make sure you have everything as they act like you are lying if they mess up your order. They Never apologize for mistakes...They just give it to you and say Here! The employees could care less about their customers. Next time I will drive 40 min just to go to a different KFC in another city! Don't want to get anything free just want them to get it right the first time. The drive through was very busy so I went in, what a mistake! The front doors were so dirty I did not want to touch them. The lobby area had not been cleaned and bits of food were everywhere. I stood at the counter for about 5 minutes being totally ignored, the manger walked right past me and never said a word. I overheard the drive through cashier being rude to her customer. Our visit today. Dining in. Only us in the store. Walked up to counter and was ignored. Waited 5 plus minutes before someone came to the counter to take our order. Unknown at the time, one of the employees that just looked at us and continued what they were doing was a Manager. Finally someone came to the counter and took our order. It was another 5 plus minutes before our order was ready. A chicken sandwich and a 2 pc chicken dinner. The dinner was fair but very small chicken those pieces came from. I think they put the runts on the $5 meal deals. The BBQ Chicken Sandwich that my wife ordered was terrible. It was more than 1/2 gristle and very little BBQ sauce. We finished eating and was talking about the price paid for the Sandwich and what a ripoff. We noticed on the ticket we were charged $6.49 for a Sandwich that was $5.99 on the Big Menu You use to know what something cost. We went back to the counter to ask about this, waited another 5 plus minutes while a couple employees just walked past us. Finally one came up and asked us if we needed anything. This was the Manager. We asked about the difference in the menu price posted and what we were charged. THE MANAGER stated she new the Menu was wrong, But what we were charged was the correct price. She didn't seem to understand that what you show as a price , what a customer orders from and what is presented as the price for the item is the price that should be charged. At minimum someone should inform the customer that the menu is wrong and of the correct price. SHE actually acted like there was no problem with this and had no problem charging a different price than what was showed. Most of the customers that came in while we were eating dealt with the wait, being ignored, and one had to go get an add showing a bucket deal that the Manager denied being. She refused to honor the deal. When he came back I saw it on his phone and it was a good add that she Refused to honor. We have gone through the drive thru many times at this KFC and been pleased with the food. THIS MANAGER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. SHE HAS NO IDEAL HOW TO MANAGE. THE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE EATING YOU COULD HEAR SHOUTING AND ARGUING COMING FROM THE KITCHEN AREA. read more

This Kfc is horrible!! The customer service is downright terrible! The food is always old and cold. Most of the time the lobby is completely closed and drive thru times are 45 minutes or more. This place needs some new management and new employees soon! read more

So it is hot today 09/03/2015 and I didn't want to cook. Fried chicken was requested by the hungry family, so off I went. I wanted the 16 piece extra crispy but they didn't have enough chicken, so I got the 12 piece. They didn't have any bisquits so they offered me an extra side. I really would have rather had bisquits- but none were offered. They didn't have potato wedges ready so I waited for those. Once I got home the chicken was tough as a saddle- it had been under the heat lamps too long. The drive thru window employee was yelling at the person in the store, but facing me, so I got "WHUT!!, SHE IS THE 12 PIECE" in my ear. If I could give this location less than 1, I would. We went in to eat around 7:00 p.m. on a Saturday night. There were no other customers there. We stood at the counter for over 5 minutes waiting for someone to come take our order. Several employees walked back and forth doing other jobs, looking up at us, but not one acknowledged us. Finally, someone came to take our order and we placed it. It did not take an unreasonable time to get our order to us. I ordered the smoky mountain BBQ sandwich meal. The overhead menu stated this meal was $5.99. We sat down to eat and most of my chicken was inedible. Very dry, almost no BBQ sauce and it was very grisly and tough. Most of it ended up in the trash. As we were eating, I looked at my receipt and noticed that I had been charged $6.49. When we finished eating, we went back up to the counter to bring the over charge to the manager's attention. We again had a long wait at the counter until someone finally asked us if we needed something. We asked if she was the manager and she said that she was. We showed her the receipt and told her that we had been over charged. She said, no we hadn't; the prices had increased and another employee had put the wrong prices up on the menu. She was sorry about that and would speak to the employee who had put the wrong prices up. I said, no that was not acceptable. You do not post one price and then fraudulently charge whatever you want. You do not treat customers that way. She again stated that an employee had posted the wrong price and that the prices had increased and she couldn't do anything about it. I said, so you aren't going to give me my 50 cents? She said, no, because the prices had gone up and she had not control over that. I again tried to explain the principle of fraud and demanded my 50 cents. She finally opened the drawer and grabbed 2 quarters and angrily slid then across the counter to me and stormed off. It was not the issue of my needing the 50 cents, it was the principle of over charging and she just didn't get it. I would steer clear of this place. Unorganized, rude staff and you honestly won't know how much your food is going to cost you until it's all rung up. We will not be going back to this location and I would highly recommend you not waste your time here, either. read more

SO disappointed in KFC - ordered the 10 piece with 3 sides, chicken was DARK!! Mashed potatoes didn't have flavor, mac and cheese was full of hard burnt pieces of cheese. Took it back and manager said the oil was old and they didn't have more. She snatched the receipt out of my wife's hand when my wife asked for a refund. Not a good way to run a store - 24 Hwy in Independence, MO - AVOID!!!!!!!! - got refunded - drove to another KFC 23'd and Noland Rd, Independence, MO - awesome food!! read more
