Sunday staff on 3/12/2017 are lazy and have horrible communication skills. Waited for a drive up window order for 30 mins and no other customers in the store. Had to go inside to inquire about my order. They should've told me to come inside for a drive up window order. Never coming to this location again. read more

I should have known not to eat here. First, the roof was leaking. It wasn't evening raining, but water was dripping from the roof and onto the floor where people were eating. Second, the service was incredibly slow. I ordered ONE chicken little. It's a small chicken sandwich that cost less than 2 bucks. It does not take long to prepare. There was NOBODY ahead of me and it they still took forever. Third, it made me physically ill. I think I got food poisoning. I could not go to work the next day. Let's just say, I spent a lot of time in the bathroom afterwards. This place is HORRIBLE and you should avoid it unless you want constant vomiting and diahrehha. read more

Worst kfc I have ever been to. First it took 8 minutes to finally be acknowledged at the counter. We placed our order. I was told I had to wait 9 minutes for my hot wings I agreed and was given a complimentary fountain drink by a Joann since I had to wait. 15 minutes went by and I went to the counter to ask what was going on with my wings and was told nobody put them in the oven. At that point I asked for a full refund and exited but before I did I had to also take pictures of the filth. The floors were dirty and there was garbage on the floor. Seats and tables were dirty and sticky. On top of it the urinal in the mens room was absolutely disgusting. Oh and on way exiting the property be careful there are several large pot holes that have been there for years. Oh and I have to also mention all the employees here including the shift supervisor had no clue as to what they were doing, very slow and inattentive for the exception of one named Joann. read more

First time visit thru this KFC drive thru in Rahway (next to Wendy's). First, was told over intercom to wait, with noisy laughter in background. 5 minutes later, same thing, laughter followed by "give us a minute". Finally takes my order, and when I pull up to window I notice a guest at the counter loudly engaged with staff, totally goofing around. But more disturbing than the total disregard for any customer service, was the fact that they all had their masks around their neck, while loudly projecting at one another. Lady handed my bag to guy at window-- neither of them wearing gloves. He opens my bag, shoves his bare hand in it, with his laughing & uncovered face over my bag, and proceeds to confirm, it's correct. TOTALLY DISGUSTING! I took my bag & drove up to the garbage can in parking lot-- which no surprise was packed full with garbage all around it. There was no chance I was going to eat or even touch that food. It made me think what is likely going on in that kitchen beyond what I witnessed. Totally unsanitary, totally disgusting! I wish I could rate no stars at all. read more

Horrible service from even the manager. Went there for lunch today. She is rude and the services are very inconsistent. When I get a dark meat meal, I usually don't have problems with getting all thighs and not the standard drum and thighs. But once in awhile there will be one miserable person who doesn't want to give you just thighs and insist you have to have a drumstick and a thigh which is ridiculous. When I told her that I always get only thighs she responded that shouldn't happen. I come to this KFC once a week for lunch and there are some very competent and nice people, and food is usually fresh, the reason I am giving two stars and not one, and then there are those who are not competent or rude. Very inconsistent with customer service. Also the drive through needs serious road repairs, you will get a flat tire with the size of the pot holes. As much as I love KFC, I will rather do without due to the customer service. read more

I would like to take a moment to thank the very patient and extremely polite staff at this location. I went through the drive thru today around noon. After pulling away, I realized that I was missing the famous bowl I had ordered. I looped around and returned to the restaurant. I wasn't at all mad that I was missing the bowl- things happen, so I just walked inside, explained what happened and they fixed it- no big deal. They even agreed to comp the bowl (I wasn't charged for it initially), which was very sweet and unexpected. As I was waiting, a customer next to me began arguing with the employee who had helped me at the drive thru. Apparently he thought that he could walk into a business and name his own price- not 100% clear on what he wanted, but whatever it was, it was something that the restaurant was unable to accommodate for the price he wanted. It was at that point that the customer decided to turn his displeasure into a race issue. He pointed at me and said "this cracker comes in here and she get what she wants." I've never been called that ever in my life and as someone who was an innocent bystander, my first reaction was one of shock and I kind of looked around and with an expression on my face like....is this really happening? He told the employee that he was "ruining the relationship between brothers and sisters" as if the employee should have jeopardized his job and given the childish man whatever he wanted because they both happened to be black. He again made reference to me getting what I want because I'm white and called me a cracker for a second time. At that point I spoke up- In response to his ridiculous claim that me getting my order corrected had something to do with the color of my skin, I responded "No, it's because I'm not being rude and obnoxious like you." After I had left, I thought of a world of other things that I probably should have said to this particularly unreasonable individual, but it is what it is. I was very impressed that despite this customer's rude behavior, the employee who was dealing with him maintained his professionalism the whole time. He even defended me when the customer decided to involve me in something that had nothing to do with me. I feel terrible for the staff and hope that the man left soon after me so that they could continue about their day. Kudos to all of you for handling this situation in an exemplary way. Thank you also for being willing to correct the mistake to my order quickly and effectively. =) read more
