It was really busy here tonight and the staff were running all over the place. There were at least half a dozen customers waiting out in the parking lot by the time I got here and they were all waiting for their orders. A couple of ticked off customers had been waiting for quite a while because they were given the wrong orders. The staff were really confused on which orders went to each customer and some of the staff were just yelling at each other. I should have taken the hint and gone somewhere else but I had been waiting to order for a while so I figured I might as well stick it out and see what happened. I ordered the 5 piece tender big box combo and everything was bad, or missing. I asked for Pepsi and I was given diet Pepsi or there was something wrong with the regular Pepsi because it didn't taste right. The tenders were tiny, crusty leftovers from whatever batch they came from because the tenders are usually twice the size as what I got. My sides were the coleslaw and the mac and cheese. The coleslaw was extremely watery and as soon as I opened the container the watery mess splashed everywhere. There were also dark brown chunks of something mixed in with the cabbage. The mac and cheese was very stiff like it was left out to congeal for a while. My box was missing the biscuit and the dipping sauce. I didn't care about the biscuit because they're terrible but I was really annoyed about the missing sauce because I was very specific when asking for it. It was even worse when the staff gave some other guy handfuls of pretty much every dipping sauce to go with his order because they (the staff) forgot what he wanted. This was $17 worth of garbage. I love KFC. The pretend mashed potatoes are a secret craving of mine. But the crazy expense of a bucket of chicken and sides has forced me to stop going. A bucket of chicken is not worth the near $70 it cost me last time. I do like their pot pies and they are an affordable option. read more

The food is good. The service is atrocious. The evening employees would rather cuss at each other and play grab @ss than help customers. They should put a sign on the door "We'd rather you eat somewhere else... don't bother us". It's worth a person's time and money to just go to the other location on Telshor... the service is far better. read more

I went to this location because it is closest to my home , and I was looking forward to some good fried chicken. I ordered a two piece white meal and got a drumstick and a thigh. My friend got a three piece, so I saw he had what looked like a breast so traded with him for the thigh. It was not a breast it was a back piece very gross with the spine and very little meat. FYI for KFC don't serve people chicken backs it is unacceptable. read more

I hate leaving negative reviews because I'm a softie , buuuut I am a southern girl at heart and take kfc very seriously lol. I actually drive out of my way to this kfc instead of going to the one on Telshor because the food is usually way better and the service is usually extra awesome. However this time I had a coupon and they weren't willing to make side substitutions (which they usually do). Then the girl was just kind of whatever about her attitude because I think I was bothering her with the whole substitutions thing lol. We'd ordered extra crispy and when we got home there was hardly any crunchy coating and there were gloops of flour under the skin. The mac n cheese wasn't mixed all the way and the dessert were their regular biscuits with icing and cinnamon..my kids who are sugar bugs didn't even like them. I went in to KFC on New Year's Eve at 7:15 pm. Paper sign on the door says they will close at 8:30 pm. I go inside, and the woman greeted me with, "We're out of chicken." I said, "What?" She said "Yeah, it's New Year's Eve." I said "Okay." and turned to leave and she laughed at me say, "Happy New Year." So, basically, I was told to, "F*** off and have a happy new year." This is how felt when leaving. Is that how you want to treat paying customer? First off, I'm to believe the store completely ran out of chicken, which is their whole business. That means on the January 2nd when they reopen be closed due to lack of food. More likely they stopped cooking at 7 and are turning away all paying customers. That way when the 8:30 ticks around, everyone can be out the door at 8:31. Secondly, I don't care that it's a holiday. If you set the hours for 8:30, you finish every last order and then shut down. You want out by 8:30, then close at 7, finish your last order, clean up, and leave. I hope the store manager is okay paying their employees for an hour and half for them to mock and turn away paying customers. This isn't the first time I've had issues with this location. A few weeks before, I ordered a 12-piece meal, half original and half grilled, all dark meat. They didn't have enough chicken to make the order, so they wanted to sub extra crispy. Whatever, fine. 2 minutes later, they had "too many people in the drive through" and the manager was prioritizing them, so they had no more chicken to complete my order and gave me a refund. I offered to wait but they told me they had no chicken cooking. Again, this is at 7 pm and wasn't on a holiday. I really can't stress this enough: YOUR WHOLE BUSINESS IS COOKING CHICKEN! It's in the name "Kentucky Fried Chicken" not "Kentucky Fried We're Out Of Food". This happens way too much for it to be an isolated incident. Their staff is often irritated by special requests like the prior order and will consistency sub breast meat when I specifically make a point that I don't like or want it. I never use the drive through for this reason and always check my food to make sure it's right when I leave. I came here because it's convenience and close to my house. The amount of ineptitude, disrespect, and lack of proper management makes this more of a hassle than it's worth. Food is only okay in quality, when it's possible to get food from them at all. If the point of your business to sell your product then you're doing a horrible job at it. You want me to "F*** off and have a happy new year" then I'll let your corporate managers know to see if they approve. read more

Ordered a family meal. No sporks. No plates. No napkins. Nothing to eat the meal with. Is this normal in Las Cruces? Food was there, but why not just go to Albertsons for this type of service?! You'll save money, and they do have cooked chicken, wings, and even boneless chicken. Also missing the large side that I added on and paid for. Mac cheese. Paid for, not given to me. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for KFC. I'm not sure why...they're not all that great but something about it triggers my taste buds. Leg and thigh meal with mashed potatoes and gravy with the buttery biscuit. My only complaint is everytime I pull up when it's 15 minutes to closing, they tell me that they no longer have items on their menu available. It's not just this location---it was a few different ones in California too....maybe they're trained to say that. It's just lazy, to me. read more

Amazing service and great people. We went to kfc on Sunday to get chicken about mid evening to get dinner. We ended up going into the lobby to order and got a meal deal and hot wings. The cashier was incredibly friendly and helpful. He made fresh hot wings and told us how we could alter the meal deal to fit our choice needs. After taking our order and giving us a free drink for having to make fresh hot wings the cashier walked around the lobby cleaning and giving customers mints. Got our food and headed out. I've never experienced this bad of customer service at a KFC before, it was pretty shocking actually. I pulled in to the drive thru and obviously something was going on. Each car had to wait at the speaker box for 5 mins before having your order taken. The line in front of the speaker box to the window was completely empty. I was given no explanation for this even though I waited 20 mins just to have my order taken in an empty line. I asked the cashier for a Cheeto sandwich and she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. I figured they might just be out of ingredients so I ordered something else. When I got to the window I asked if they would still sell them again? I was told by the Cashier named Jordyn that her manager Kim told her they will no longer be selling them. When I questioned about the signs all over the outside of the store she got mad. Once I got home I decided to do a test and called the store to ask if they still sell cheeto sandwiches. I originally got Jordyn on the phone who told me she does not know so I asked for someone else. The next guy that came on the phone made me repeat the simple question "Do you guys still sell the cheeto sandwiches?" about 5 times, finally I asked for the manager. Now the manager Kim came on the phone and when I asked the question she right away said "yes we still sell them." When I questioned why her employees told me that they do not sell them she stumbled and started talking about ingredients. I again asked why they said they would no longer be selling them again at all and she got angry with me. I'm sorry If I upset this manager Kim for catching her employees and her in a lie but you need to remember you're still working customer service. I doubt I will ever go to this location again because of this interaction. Wow...And after my brother tries his new mountain dew soda I got with the meal its almost complete water. I'm guessing this was done on purpose. Worst KFC experience ever. Employees Jordyn and Manager Kim should never be allowed in fast food service. read more

Wow, this place is so nasty! I have never been in a place that has been so disgusting. The tables are not wiped down, the floors are sticky and horribly dirty. They aren't busy, so they have the time to wipe down and clean the tables, but this is completely unacceptable. I can only imagine how dirty it is behind the counter with the food we are eating. read more

Not only was the place a mess and my food not made well, maybe the cook was having a bad day, but on top of that the employees were very unprofessional towards the costumers (rudely interrupting, correcting the customers of their own order, etc.) and each other (touching each other inappropriately, making rude/profane comments, etc.). I love KFC food!! But I am not happy with this KFC!! The last time I went I ordered Nashville Hot tenders meal with an additional mashed and gravy.... well I only got one mashed and they sure did charge me for the other!! I did not notice until I got home and did not feel like going back. Well I decided to try it again tonight... Same meal and after waiting at the window while the cashier talked about the moon and stared off into space day dreaming I was told I had to pull up and wait. I waited for about 10 minutes before my meal came out. A different person brought out my food and I checked before I drove away. While the lady was walking back inside she turned and said "ugh, did I even give you a spoon." I told her not to worry about it and left. No spoon btw..... The one up on Telshor is no better. I went to that one first and they were "out of tenders". Really wish KFC would get their chicken together!! read more
