Wow is this a bad KFC. I wasn't expecting a lot from a fast food restaurant but this still managed to let me down. When we got there, a large crowd of people were around one round table but otherwise there weren't any customers. A father and son showed up after and ordered, and then it was us. Yet despite not being that busy in the main room, the place was a mess. Dirty tables, dirty floors, dirty seats. Yuck. Our food wasn't very good either, though it did come up rather quickly. Either the quality of the chicken in their chicken strips has gone downhill or else they were sitting around much too long. They were tough and stringy. We tried two dipping sauces- Barbeque and "sticky chicky sweet and sour"- and both were bad. When we went to leave the garbage was overflowing. No doubt it was due to the large crowd that just left, but since the lobby was still empty of customers they could have easily gone out to do some cleaning. read more

Decided to take a chance even after seeing the low reviews, taking into account they were relatively old. Somehow they still managed to be the same after 6 years haven't gotten my food yet and it's currently 4:50 and have been here since 4:09. The Mac and cheese is what was taking the longest I was told it would be a 5-10 minute wait and it's probably been 15 minutes. I feel bad for the worker I think there are only a few workers currently but this is embarrassing to still have the same problems. Came here to try the new kfc wings after work as it was close, thought the wings looked funny so I used a fork and knife to cut 2 of my 6 open to find RAW chicken!! Also ordered a quesadilla no creamy jalapeño JUST Incase to which they added the creamy sauce I had to correct that. the cashier wasn't happy about that and made it right but that could've been serious had I not looked! Would give a zero if allowed. Went to KFC on 7th North street today. We waited over 15 minutes for our food to be bagged. We could see that the chicken was cooked and in an oven ready to go. There was only 1 other family there at this time. As we went to Check on our food the employees were dancing to music rather than working. Our order was not even close to being correct. We had about an hour to kill in the immediate area, and figured we'd seize a sweet opportunity to get some Baja Blast and Sweet Lightening at the same time. Being the opportunists that we are, we got the drinks along with a few tacos and some biscuits to hold us over during our downtime. On this trip we had nothing to lose, as we were exclusively there to kill time and get some low priority grub. With the bar set to the bottom, we left with two things worth pointing out. 1.) The tacos were wrapped as if they littered a bunch more of everything into the wrapper before packaging them the rest of the way. It was like opening a glitter bomb, an ongoing stream of cheese, meat and lettuce just flowed all over the place as soon we we pulled the wrapper down. (For whatever reason I feel like I should point out that we were holding them right side up when we opened them.) I can't logistically retrace the steps in my mind that would lead to this sort of thing happening. We wondered if it had anything to do with... 2.) They were raising money for kids, or the homeless, or something. I understand the employees are incentivized or required to ask when taking your order. I accept this as an irritating part of life and don't make a habit of shooting the messenger. We were asked by the initial recording/greeting, we declined. We began our order, but were cut off again by a live male speaker, asking again for a donation. We politely declined again, and once again began placing our order. We were cut off again by a female speaker, who chimed in "...I mean it's for a good cause..." I let her sit in her own awkward silence for a minute or so before I was asked to continue my order. I've worked plenty of demeaning jobs and I can respect these micro ambitions that get you through the day of being a whipping boy to the lowest common denominator. I've put my time in shamelessly upselling, plugging, selling my lowly soul for corporate prizes. I was good at it, and I'd probably do it again in that same position. The persistence was no problem to me, but what did me in was the absolute lack of taste. To follow up a third time with a line like "it's for a good cause", at this point you're just heckling. I wanted to ask her for the details on how donations would actually be spent to better the world, suspecting she probably wouldn't have much more to say than what was already sprawled across the banner on the front of the menu. Instead, I paid and collected my food, drove to a nearby parking lot, and made jokes with my girlfriend over two kinds of Mt. Dew about the weird experience we just had until our prescription was ready. read more

Went to this KFC/TB on Friday to pick up a quick dinner . Only 4 cars in drive through & it still took 20 minutes to get our order. The order seemed extremely expensive for what we ordered so I asked the price of our items. The cashier rattled off a quick price recap which didn't add up to the total. I asked for a receipt- the cashier walked away and came back with a person I assumed to be the manager. This guy said that they couldn't give me a receipt because there was no register tape. I asked if the other registers inside had tape & he replied "no" - he gave no apology or wanted to review the order, etc. - so I drove away. This location has terrible reviews for the past 4+ years on this site & all other sites as well. I wish I could give this place zero stars:( they have the most incompetent, rude, obnoxious employees. We've given this location a few tries as it's closer to our house. Every time without fail our order is royalty ****** up. Tonight we're in line about to get to the order screen and the gentleman taking orders was too busy yelling over the speaker to his friends to come in the store and hangout with him. (At this time indoor dining was closed) then we order and he's still yelling back and fourth with his friends as they're now hanging out in the store with him. So we get the window and go figure he didn't punch in our order and blamed it on his female employee. If I could give zero stars I would. Says open until midnight, but upon arrival (on foot, as parked at nearby Tesla charger) found dining room only open until 10pm. The employees had locked the dining room doors prior to our 9:45 arrival. Thanks jerks. I'm writing this as I sit here eating McDonald's takeout. My husband and I decided to hit this KFC/Taco Bell hybrid during lunch hour (12pm-1pm). At 12:10pm we placed our orders. At 12:35pm, the people at the front were laughing about how our order wasn't filled yet ("ha ha, your southern accent is so strong I didn't hear it! What's the order for? Carlos? Carls? Charles?"). Ahead of us, 2 people who ordered chicken meals AFTER us (including a bucket) were served. When it came time for our order, no dark meat extra crispy was available (our order). They asked if a breast was okay. No, breasts are too damn dry. They asked if grilled was okay... ...is grilled ever okay?? No. Well, then it would be a 14 minute wait on the extra crispy. So my entire lunch hour would be spent waiting for food? No thank you. We got a refund (after the cashier at the front didn't even acknowledge our wait or apologize for the confusion), and headed to McDonald's to grab food so I could get back in time for work. A note: a little kindness goes a long way. An explanation would have been great, instead of being laughed at and ignored. read more

Stopped at this KFC during the covid19. Person running drive through was wearing his mask around his chin mouth and nose exposed.. I was wearing a mask and my passenger was not. I asked the worker why he wasn't wearing a mask and he stated he had a hard time breathi ng with it on. I advised him to get a different one that he could breath with. He then stated that my passenger didn't have one on and that he could refuse to serve us due to it. I had a few choice words for him and asked to speak to a manager. Another worker came around the corner from the kitchen wearing his mask around his chin. The manager came to the window wearing a mask and when I asked him why the others were not wearing one he gave me my money back and told me to leave. I told him that I was going to report him to the Health Dept. and he said go ahead and told me to leave. Wow! This is how you treat your customers. Look at your reviews. You should be ashamed to be in business with a one star with 10 reviews and now this makes 11. Stay clear of this place. If they care as little as they did imagine what they do to your food. My husband and I stopped here for dinner Friday the 5th of August. What a disappointment. The establishment was filithy. The music was loud in the dining area and not appropriate for guests to listen to, I think it was more to the staffs liking. The garbage bin was full and the bin was in the middle of the lobby. Each time was a horrendous experience. Whoever owns this store should be sued! This is the absolute worst fast food restaurant I've ever been to in my life, and that would include in all my travels. The staff is rude, lazy, and horrendous, the food is disgusting, the restaurant is filthy, and it's the slowest fast food restaurant I've ever been to. if I ever want taco bell or KFC, I drive 6 -7 miles away to get it. This KFC/Taco Bell is by far the worst fast food restaurant in the history of fast food restaurants. I work in one of the professional buildings near the restaurant. Some days I get very busy at work and I am forced to eat here. Today, I ordered 2 tacos and sat in the drive thru for over 20 minutes before finally deciding to leave. The service cannot possibly be slower. The car in front of me was clearly handed my order, they pilfered through it and then handed it back to the cashier as it was the wrong order. They then took the order of the customer in front of me at the window (as they obviously lost his order) but allowed him to sit there for 10 minutes. I finally just left. I will no longer subject myself to the ignorance you employ at this location. I wish the place would close and then get reopened by some competent management. Corporate should look into this store because it is an embarrassment to the franchises. I have NEVER had a truly good experience at this restaurant in the last 10 years. This is the absolute worst KFC/Taco Bell ever..in fact it's probably the most mismanaged restaurant I've ever been to in my life (and I'm old). I live less than a mile from this restaurant and have only been there 3 times total since it opened a few years ago. There are no other fast food restaurants close by either. The reason I don't go there?? The last time I was there was 2 years ago and it was a horrible experience. I walked in the restaurant and it was filthy!! There were no customers at all which I thought was strange and there were a lot of workers in back of the counter. Not one would wait on me. They were all on their phones and talking to eachother. When I finally ordered food, it took forever to get my food. I can see if they were busy, but I was the only customer there. The food was cold...I mean the experience was the absolute worst.. At that time I called the corporate office and complained and they sent me coupons for free food which I never used. I wanted the franchise owner to know that the staff was absolutely horrendous. I didn't want free food. Today (2 years later), I was hungry and I was going to drive 5 miles to the nearest fast food restaurant but I thought I would try this again although I swore I would never go back. I thought maybe there was different management, etc. I go to the drive through..placed my order, and they didn't read back what I ordered and didn't tell me the total so I wasn't even sure they had my order. I pulled up to the window which was disgusting and filthy. After asking what my total was and verifying my order i handed the lazy girl my credit card.she was not polite at all. I asked for my receipt twice and she didn't even look at me, then she told me it was off line. I said "well it took my credit card, so what do you mean". She said "it's off line i can't give you one". Then she handed my my food in what looked like a used bag, it was torn, crumpled and greasy... I was pissed! I have never had that happen.. Meanwhile, I was afraid to eat the food, and when I did, it was cold and tasted terrible. All I ordered was some tacos. Last week I went to the Taco Bell on Rt57, and the drive through line was out to the road, yet the line moved quickly. The workers were polite, my food came in a new fresh bag, and I drove 5 miles home and my food was still not and tasty.I This KFC/Taco Bell on 7th North street should be shut down. The franchise owner must be either really stupid or on drugs. I ordered the $5 pot pie meal. I had to ask for my soda, and it would really go a lot better If the chicken pot pie had maybe one or two pieces of chicken in it!
