I haven't been to KFC in a while but today they were great! Made an online order to sit down and enjoy and they forgot my mashed potatoes so when I told them they gave me my taters really quick and then gave me two complimentary chocolate cakes. They were really friendly and everything was great! I don't have anything negative to say about KFC today. The store was clean, workers were nice, food came out fast. Two thumbs up from me and I look forward to the next time I get a chance to eat at the KFC in Los Lunas. read more

Absolutely not this place is disgusting. The food is always raw. The management team is horrible and since they are a franchise, there's no one else to complain to since the owner does not care. Stopped in for an order of chicken to eat on my way south out of Albuquerque. Easy location off I25 south. A nice change from. Burger or other driving food. Had the two piece dark meat meal. Only thing missing was the melted butter and honey to put in the biscuit. Made the trip much better than a gas station stopover. read more

Been here before in years past & it was OK. But went there last nite & the food was fresh & delicious! Very friendly staff & quick. Had the $20 fill up with 8 pieces extra crispy chicken, 4 biscuits, two large mashed, gravy & coleslaw. Way to go KFC in Los Lunas!!! read more

I have just started to frequent this place. It is not too bad. The employees try hard, but they are young and still lack in some common sense. The real reason I have tried the place...wifi. I need wifi for school. I have sat in there in the evening and never has it been busy. There are young people who are there to chat with the workers (sometimes causing the employee to ignore the paying customer. I have never been ignored because I won't wait for chit chat. Another thing this store does that I had never heard of was to charge $1.50 to have brown gravy over white gravy. WOW!!! Others just switch it and it causes no problems. This is Los Lunas however, so people will pay. I will not. Is there better? Yes. Go to Albuquerque if you want any changes to your order. This store charges!!! There is also a new chicken place in town. Worth it? I don't know quite yet. It is still packed! KFC in Albuquerque however has no problems substituting gravies. This place is also out of stuff every time I have gone. Out of chicken, out of strips, out of nuggets, out of cookies, out of biscuits, out of many things! This business isn't interested in putting the customer first. When you leave the drive up you shouldn't have to check your order. I had to come back from Belen because when I sat down to eat with my family one of the sides was missing. When I returned there was no apology or offer of a larger side for the mistake even though I had to travel quite a distance for their mistake. When I called and talked to the owner she was ruder than the employee so I see why he was probably unable to offer anything. Although and apology doesn't cost anything. We have lived in the area for 10 years now and never had they got an order correct, visited about 4-5 times over this period. Today we thought it would be different because all we wanted was an 8 piece chicken only, replace the legs with wings. Simple? Not for an employee that cannot count! We got 2 breasts, 2 thighs, and 2 wings but no legs for a total of 6 pieces. I looked in the bucket, did not see any legs so thought we were good because KFC wings are tiny anyways. Counting never occurred to me since it is an easy number to get to. This place is Always clean..alot cleaner than other KFC restauraunts in the Albuquerque area. when the owners are on site their staff is great but I have noticed that when they are not there the staff is rude and mostly gets our order wrong. I've tried this KFC multiple times and every time there is a problem, mostly that they do not follow through with sales/specials that are advertised and then the "owners" who are the worst will come out and berate you on why they don't have to have specials that are seen on TV, also they will not trade their disgusting mashed potatoes for another side, or just give you legs and thighs. It's always a problem, but seeing as there is no other KFC in the area people just keep going. Don't waste your time. read more

Me and my wife have come here twice and both times out of most of the chicken pot pies ect, thus only having little to no options and the children running the place seem to think it's a joke, jokes on them when churches chicken gets built and takes all your business. read more

I did not get what I ordered and I would have accepted that but when the so-called manager wanted to waste my time explaining why I didn't get napkins and tell me that the drinks (which were supposed to come with the meal ) that I didn't get weren't charged. I have to agree with the last comment. Sad part is the owner is rude and condescending so I guess you can't expect more from the managers. Called to inform this KFC about the sub-par (obviously kept in warmer past its hold time) chicken. Owner answered the phone and immediately began talking over me. He did say I could bring it back at my convenience but seriously the whole trip back wouldn't be worth it especially because of his attitude. KFC corporate needs to educate their franchisees on how to appropriately handle customer concerns. If you're traveling through Los Lunas just keep going past this KFC as there are plenty of other establishments in the area. If you want chicken, I'm sorry to say that the nearby grocery stores will likely serve a better quality product, which is not saying much. Have given this restaurant many chances to redeem themselves of the poor quality we have had in the past. Tonight was and will be the last time we eat there. Before leaving restaurant, specifically asked the girl at the window if our food was fresh, she stated that it was. Well? I'd have to strongly disagree with her, the chicken was so dark, it honestly was black in color. (Probably Old Grease). The fries that came with the chicken tenders were more like potato chips. Not even soft, very hollowed out. Dinner time at this location is normally when we go, and either they are out of GRILLED Chicken, out of corn, and they won't offer to make any more even though we would wait for it, or the chicken is just old. I really wish there was another KFC or chicken place in the area, every time I go in there the workers, I believe the OWNER(MALE) are completely rude- if you ask to change a side dish -ex: I don't want the mashed potatoes but I want the gravy- I ask if they can switch the mashed potatoes for coleslaw or a couple of buns or something and they acted like it was the worst thing anyone has ever asked, and with a lot of rude vocal attitude said they don't do that- "You get what You get!" This isn't the first time, oddly enough the younger people who work there are much more willing to work with the customer and what they want but when the owner(s) are there it's just a hassle- needless to say it's extremely unlikely I will be returning to the KFC in Los Lunas. read more
